  I think maybe I need to replace my motherboard, the reasoning, because it is on another forum.  I want to know what are my options here?  My current system is:

  Alienware Aurora R4

  3930 processor I7

  CN-07JNH0-69702-21 d-0598 motherboard (replace it)

  16 GB of RAM 1866mgz Ballistix (it's the new RAM I will install on the new system)

  ASUS Radeon R9 380 4 GB PCI express 3.0 vid card

  power supply Dell 850W (came with aurora r4)

  1 TB harddrive (came with aurora r4)

  Can I order a new motherboard with new processor already installed and just remove/replace in my R4?  Or simply order a new motherboard and install my existing i7 in the new motherboard?  The motherboard should I buy?  Direct replacement?  Update the motherboard and processor and all the stuff I already have will fit in?  I have had this system for 2012 and want to spend just a few coins if I can, rather than buying a new system.

  I think that it s not worth buying a new motherboard because you could add a few Euros and might get a new laptop.

  However, you can view some websites like Ebay for example a satellite M30/Satellite Pro M30 of second hand. Perhaps you could get a second hand mobo

  It seems the renovated its MB has been replaced.  When I go out the memory chips the Board part number is 459537-001 which is different from the one in the maintenance manual.  The woman who sold me the supposed optical drive it as the MB.  Bottome line, I'm not going to spend more money on this model and I'll buy an external optical drive and work around the problem, if in fact it is the MB.  It seems that the internal optical drives are all or nothing.  She also said that the wireless would give a point.  I have soft cam with this one for awhile.
