  Hello, I have an iMac 27 inch mid 2011 (bought on 28.05.2011 including Apple Care). The screen went blue and the iMac last weekend had problems at the start (screen stuck on gray - boot loop). I figured well known GPU problem , so I took it to my dealer.

  Diagnosis: GPU problem, but given that the replacement program ends Apple decided that I have to pay for repair costs: around 600 euros.

  Apple has decided that they will replace the video card for free for four years after the first retail computer sales.   Last night I did a reboot of my pc and since then during POST I can hear 3 beeps (one extended its follow-up shorter 2). The screen does not, but the windows 7 normally charge. I tried to connect it to an external lcd display, but nothing happened.

  I think my external gpu died.

  But before you do buy a refurbished or bake in the oven, I must be sure that it is not a motherboard problem. Is it possible that my motherboard has an integrated gpu, which means that after removing the ati hd3650 screen mobility should have lit (which do not have).

  I'm in the market for a new laptop computer, one old man gets a little tired.
  The Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 caught my attention like a good laptop new even if it has 'only' a dual core cpu. It's really the GPU dedicated that and the HD screen which makes it interesting. However after googling a bit I can see that there are few people have a problem with this laptop and the graphics card. It looks like only the Intel graphics are running and making games really lag. I'm not a big gamer, but again, if I buy a computer with a dedicated GPU so I want that not, runs the integrated chip.
  Anyone who is familiar with that? Is it possible to change the GPU in the BIOS on this particular model?

• Problem of horrible keyboard on PC brand new

  Hi, I have a 2 week old HP Pavilion HPE h8-1021 PC and I am very close to his return with the explanation that it is sub-standard piece of shit and he isn't worth more of my time.

  1 problem #1. When I took the new home of PC, that it would not start at all, he would not simply start POST-ing. I returned it to the store, the tech has looked at it and said that he is dead, so they quickly exchanged it. I thought that the problem has been resolved, but not so fast...

  2 problem #2.Half at the start of my PC (replaced) until unusable. Here is what happens...

  -Normal startup = approximately 50% of the time I start it, after the HP splash screen I see the Windows 7 splash screen and the PC starts normally.

  -Abnormal start = approximately 50% of the time after the start screen of HP that I see a dump of text of the information system, it goes to Windows startup. When I see the text that I already know the PC will not work properly and the following occurs:

  When the Windows desktop appears and the welcome sound starts, I hear a beep loud. When the desktop is running, I can't click on absolutely no whatsoever, on the desktop or taskbar. Simply nothing works.

  There is only one solution to workaround:

  I can only click on the start menu, to work. When the start menu opens, in the search bar, I see a series of slashes advansing to the right quickly, about a dozen per second and all items on the start menu disappear. To stop the slash onslought I have to press the Fn key. After that I regain control and able to remove the oblique hundred in the start menu, my menu start elements reappear and my system is funcional again.

  Hit the Fn key without opening start menu does nothing. I have to go through the crap above to regain control of my PC.

  I hate all this. I went through the configuration of the entire system with special attention to the keyboard, ease of access, region and language settings of dozens of times but nothing does that fact a difference, I changed. The problem persists, and nothing seems to stop it.

  I'm at the end of my rope. I serioulsy consider to this pile of junk to the stoer, get my money back and buy something else. If I do this, this 'thing' will not be HP. Computer HP from my son lost a hard drive after 8 months. I couldn't find the stupid reception, so I bought a new hard drive and restored the factory installation. It works again but how long again? I am terribly disappointed the apparent shaded manufacturing of HP products.

  Nevermind, I think I've fixed it.

  I removed the "HP keyboard device" Manager device and rebooted. When the PC booted up back I found a "HID KeyBoard Device" where the "HP". "was.

  Too bad HP installs the wrong drivers for their own hardware on their factory images...

  Take it back to the Apple Store and ask them to check it out. It should be under warranty. Bring the MBP along too. It sounds like there might be a problem with it.

  Two things may apply here.  The first is that, in fact, someone stole your credentials because you signed in to your mailbox using a public hotspot.  If you can still access your mailbox with a web browser, on a private network (such as your home network) and change your password to something complex and unguessable, using at least 10 characters, the characters being a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation or special characters.  Who must thwart those who have stolen credentials, denying them access to your mailbox.

  The second thing that can apply is that your box to the letters is safe, but your address was hacked, which means that spammers are using their own mailing envelopes but by specifying your e-mail as well as the mailing address, something that is very easy to do something that happens to almost everyone who allows their address be visible in a public forum (such as Facebook or an online discussion group).  This case if it is a serious problem and not a threat to you.  Since spammers change mailing addresses frequently, they will move to use yours.

  You can usually tell the difference between these cases because in the first case, you would probably lose access to your mailbox because the spammer changed your credentials based on himself.  It's a problem that you need to address with your e-mail service provider.   You can also see evidence of the compromise because targeted friends can send you copies of the messages they received, and you will be able to confirm from the message turned headers to your e-mail service provider's network.  The latter manifests mainly because you will begin to get NDRs to addresses that you don't recognize or are clearly fake.  In this case, just remove and stop worrying.  They will stop after a while.  Even still, it is always advisable to change the passwords to your services online all the months to protect against the compromise.  Tools like lastpass.com are beneficial to help keep you straight.
