HP 35S EMULATOR
To whom it my concern:
On this occasion I need your help. I found myself struggling with the HP 35s (http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/calculators-emulators/scientific-calculator-emulator.html) emulator. It works perfectly, but where is the manual? For example, I don't understand the WINDOW of TOOLS. The other windows:
CALCULATE: save, load, quick save and quick load (save and load what?)
EDIT: screenshot, reset the calculator (reset for what situation?)
Can you please help me with some explanations. A brief guide will be very grateful!
Thank you in advance, Pedro
Hello
There is no manual for the emulator itself (as you probably noticed, with aid only the manual for the calculator is available).
In the FILE:
Save: saves the emualtor (as well as the keyed-in programs) State - ask for a name.
Charge: invited to load everything previously saved state of the emulator (including programs).
Save quickly creates a saved state of the emulator with the name default "quick record".
Fast charge: appears only if a quick record exists, load the existing quick registration
Check the update: check a HP Server for updates of the emulator.
Exit: exit emulator
EDIT:
Copy of the screen: a bitmap capture of the screen of the calculator
Given to zero Calculator: does nothing broken =. In an emulator older I have reset the emulator similar to RESET at the back of the real calculator.
In the TOOL:
Macros:
Records or re-plays a series of strikes. In the Macro menu, select new and give it a name and a description, and then press the required keys. When you are done, back to Macros and you will be asked to stop recording.
The macro is now visible in the Macro menu, select Play and the keystrokes will be processed. Note: the reading is very slow on my PC.
Select skin:
Selects the displays for the calculator
Options:
Skin and macros enabled check boxes determines whether the "Macros" or "Select an envelope" is available in the TOOL menu.
I don't know how the other options.
HP.COM opens your internet browser to the HP Web site.
In HELP:
HP 35s help: opens the calculator manual in PDF reader
Help language: selects the version of the calculator manual
About: details on the emulator.
The calculator manual supplied with the emualtor is a condensed version. The full manual is available here:

NW238AA: Enter the program steps on an emulator of 30 HP b
I'm a fan of HP since the HP-25 and if I have a HP 48GX-too, the weeks I bought a HP 30 b, only to "recycle" in a WP-34s.
But before I do, I wanted to learn more about all the features of the new "business professional", for example, the difference between an old RPN stack and the stack-RPL (with an additional registry entry of 30 b) and: I want to write short, a little sophisticated programs. To use these programs more far, I was happy to find the download URL for HP-30 b-Emulator (© 2009 Version 2012 12 10 Rev: 19045).
Although STI there is an "Emulator Help" available, I can't find it, how to manage a [shift-hold] [...] via the PC keyboard to enter the programming commands of the upper button 4-lines, e.g., Lbl, call, Stop, R/S, RTN and the wonderful SOLVE.Thank you for helping me to deal with this problem!

I can't translate your note "caps-lock key is stupid" (in German)
Can you please express this sentence in several other (English) words?
Thank you and best regards!
I think it was stupid to programmers to use the key for emulator equivalent to shift keyboard caps lock.
The shift of the keyboard button is generally used, and for the emulators with several SHIFT CTRL or Alt is used to shift the second function (for example on the 35s emulator the shift of the keyboard is orange calculator shift and Ctrl is calculator blue shift).
Kind regards.

The first (emulator) HP: HP Premium differential equations
Hello
I'm looking a calculator with AC for my electrical engineering studies and just tested
the first emulator to get a first impresseion.
But while testing its features, I got some results of unexpectet on differential equations,
that I would be confirmed on a calculator of real world.A simple as equation y' = x
CODE: desolve (diff (y) = x, x, y)
wait-> x ^ 2/2 + C
First HP-> 1/2 * (x ^ 2 + 2 * C).The result is correct, but nobody would write it down in this way, nor would one solve it how works the first.
A little more difficult equation could not be resolved by the premium: 2 x ^ 3 * (1 + y ^ 2) = y'
CODE: desolve (2 * x ^ 3 *(1+y^2) = diff (y), x, y)
wait-> y = tan (1/2 * x ^ 4 + C).
First HP-> could not resolve the implicit equationIt is not an implicit equation, the two WolframAlpha (iOS) and CASES of TI (iOS) could also resolve this one)
And last but not least: y' * sin (x) = y * ln
CODE: desolve (diff (y) * sin (x) = y * ln (y), x, y)
wait-> y = e ^ (C * tan (x/2))
First HP-> y = e ^ (sqrt (cos (x) ^ 2-1) / (C * cos (x) + C))I don't know what made the CASE here, but there is no reason to use the Pythagorean trigonometric identity.
Would be nice if someone with a premium could conifrm/refute these results or tell me what I've done
evil.Hello
The latest version of premium can solve your 2nd test case (desolve ((2 * x ^ 3 *(1+y^2)) = (y'), x, y))
However, the results for 1 and 3 test cases are the same that you tested.
I will pass the info to the person who develops the CASE and if all goes well he will be able to improve it.

Hello
I find the HP User Guide first to be quite a document difficult to follow when you need step by step instructions, or it is difficult to find some instructions, perhaps because of the terminology, etc.
I wrote and tested until they worked, some Custom applications * based on the application of resolve, in the first Hp on my PC emulator.
However, I now connect the HP Calculator first to the computer and open the HP program first connectivity, which sees the emulator and the Apps I did, etc... but I do not see how to transer my Apps to perfection - it won't even copy / paste...?
Where are the instructions to make this transfer?
Any help would be appreciated...
See you soon
FG
Regardless of the above message!
Success! I tried to send it without the connectivity program loaded... and Apps transferred in seconds...
Phew, thought that I would have to do everything from scratch on the real calculator...
So far so good.
I had saved the emulator just in case... and it even transferred to a different computer, so I could try the USB ports on that one... but still I got the error message until I closed the connectedness agenda.
See you soon

First HP emulator will not be to Build level: 2014 3 31. Rev:6026
I update my physical computer build: 2014 3 31. Rev:6026, using the connectivity kit. When I tried to upgrade my emulator using the calculator > check for update, it starts to download, but abandon the process and displays an error window. See attachment. Where can I get the file to update manually?
Thank you!

HP 35s: HP 35s calculator Faction Mode showing the wrong numbers
This happened to me in the middle of a math test while he was really awkward.
I use a HP 35s calculator, and it is completely worked fine for me for a year. I was using the display mode of fraction I discovered recently to convert numbers in the below form, and so I hit: 1201/5525 and it gives me 603/2774. No matter how you think about it, it's wrong.
It happened again with 24/5525 becoming 14/3223 and sometimes more. It's always like that. I was trying to understand what went wrong and discovered that 24/5525 equals168/38675 while 14/3223 equals 168/38676. It's the wrong number. This could be great for decimals, but I work with exact fractions, and I need the exact answer.
It works very well for things like 6/4 or 2/10, but as soon as he is big he has the answer a few places. Is it possible to fix this?
The fraction of the 35 s mode is limited to a maximum denominator of 4095. He never returns a denominator more than that, so don't expect everything. No, there is no way to set the maximum denominator to something higher to 4095. You can * down * as maximum for a small integer (between 2 and 4095) by typing and pressing/c button (left-shift, comma). There is a shortcut to 4095/c is 0/c.
In addition, make sure that both flags, 8, and 9 is clear, or it will totally mess up your work as a fraction.
Hope that helps! DISCLAIMER: I do not work for HP, but HP works for me.

You have a mobile emulator for Android or iPhone Firefox?
We are doing some development for mobile applications for mobile devices using different browsers and I was wondering if you have a simulator/emulator, since you have Firefox for users of mobile devices? I would be particularly interested in an emulator that runs on the test environments for the o/s of Windows group.
Yes, you can download a Firefox for 'emulator' mobile for Windows, Mac or Linux at http://firefox.com/mobile/download/

The mobile emulator does not work
I downloaded the emulator on my machine and unzipped the folder on my desktop.
When I click on fennec.exe the program starts successfully. However, when I type a URL in the browser and go through it, I get a blank screen. Looking at the comand window I see the following message is displayed. I browsed around the config, but can not see everything that I should be setting or update.
# forms.js loaded # content loaded !! remote browser loaded CSP WARN: couldn't parse report URI: /services/csp/report ##!!! [Parent][AsyncChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv
You can try a newer version of the Fennec emulator? Here is a candidate for our upcoming 4.0b2 release version, which might work better:

HP 35s - normal probability function
Hi all
I am trying to determine if the 35s has an 'automatic' integrated in the prerequisite programs normal probability function. For anyone who uses Stata, you can type "normal di (value)", and you get a returned probability based on the normal distribution. Moreover, some people use z tables. It's beyond my comprehension that a scientific calculator as the s 35 is not such a 'built-in' function, but I could be wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.
See you soon!

No, but it may be user programmed - the manual provides same aready to use the program, see p.16 - 11.

Why?
The beauty of a programmable calculator, is that rather than try to be everything to everyone (and inevitably be below the mark), it gives you the freedom to add features you want for your personal needs by programming. This may mean setting aside some pre-programmed functions, but leaving plenty of space for the user functions (32 KB is a lot in a non-graphical environment).

Problems sending data between the computer and the emulator.
I can't send anything to the Calculator Emulator. Does not appear in the Send button calculator. In the emulator, it seems that send key as soon as I connect with the calculator and can send data to it. There is command of testicles that EU can do to make sure that a machine works, for example, the USB driver?
In fact, including updates, firmware:
application version: 20140702v6031
operating system version: V 0.032.6030
version of the program: 201472 (6031)
most: the calculator, I received yesterday, day 1. and I doesn't seem to work well. There is a channel for guaranteed support, you can contact?

Friends:
Thank you very much. The problem has been resolved. As soon as I saw the kit, 3 updates were made and the machine works normally.
Thank you

fix variable (first emulator)
I have an equation that I entered the first emulator and want to solve for a variable. I am able to work when I put in values for each variable and leave a vacuum. It solves for the fine missing variable in this case. I want to do is solve the equation for a variable when none of the variables have a value. I expect it would be re - arrange the equation for the variable I scream as it does on my ti89 titanium. Instead I just get a set of brackets in the {} the answer.
The equation is:
diffImpedance = 2 * ((80/√relativeEr) * (ln ((1.9*(2*heightSmaller+cuThickness))/(0.8*diffTrace+cuThickness)))*(1-heightSmaller/(4*heightLarger)))*(1-0.374*e^((-2.9*(diffSpace/heightOverall))))
I put in all the variables as variables user and then store the equation in E0.
Can I do: solve (E0, diffSpace)
and the answer I get are the media. I tried it with more basic formulas, and it is the same thing. I'm doing something wrong?
Thank you
It must be remembered that A - Z are predefined, numeric variables. This means that if you use them, you pull the value. The first, the symbolic and digital are not mixed together. It's just like if you went through and stored all your variabels from A to Z on the 89 0. It will pull the values to use and you don't have simple variables.
Press the CASE, type your expression — notice that variable screen where are tiny - and then press ENTER. You get the symbolic solution.
Solve ((3*x^2) = (5 * y * 4 ^(z-2)), z)
If you try to make symbolic, exact calculations, then you must use the screen CASE. If you are only numbers and want nothing symbolic, HOME is the place to be.

premium variable length emulator
Using the first emulator "solve the digital function", I noticed that my veriable names were being cut after 4 characters. Is it possible to see all the name of the variable? Or am I limited to only 4 characters?
Thank you
The size of the return of the name is limited at present. The variable works very well, cut it to 4.
