HP 6570 b: HP 6570 B updates.

HP dear community,

I have a HP 6670 b for 3 years now. It's good, but I think I can get more out of him, if I update by putting another GPU and CPU. I read online that I can add an amd HD 7570 M and improve it to an i7 - 3540M but when I open my laptop I couldn t find a slot to add the amd HD 7570 M to. So if you guys could point me in the right direction before buying upgrades that would be great.

Thank you in advance,

Joey

Hello

I need to know what is the product/model of your machine. The link shows the entire family and ths family can have hundreds of models/product. Your machine is (using the product number: A5E64AV):

http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=A5E64AV

You simply cannot upgrade the video card. Put it this way:

Basically, you can, with a cost, and I think that this cost can be more expensive than buying a new computer because you have to take into account:

  • New price of the card, and WHERE you can buy it because the laptop cards are not the same office maps. You can't buy any normal store,
  • Need new map system (certainly in this case),
  • Need new system of cooling because in general more powerful card pumps out more heat (you want more powerful card don't you?).
  • May need new power supply because your current diet is not suitbale for the card. (I ordered a machine with the Nvidia card and I need to order a 90W charger at the same time, not the normal charger 65W. They rejected just my order.)
  • Cost of the work.
  • Packages a lot, a lot of aspirin.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards.

I tried the methods described in the attachment that you gave me.  It seemed that he would work for a second.  Turn the computer off, tied the two monitors, turned on the computer and got the window startup screen on both monitors, then both became black.  SAT, wait a few minutes to see the login screen - nothing.  Unplugged the monitor with the HDMI cable and the monitor with DVI cable up to connect.  Plugged the cable HDMI back and connect the DVI screen goes black and the HDMI animated.  Went to the Catalyst Control Center and created an Eyefinity display group and followed the instructions and have now both screens to work.  Thank you

  • No audio in XW4600 after installing a Radeon XFX 6570.

    Computer: XW4600 Core2Quad. 4 GB memory

    Operating system: W7 Ultimate U.S. / English x 64-KB all applied.

Error messages: A loudspeker who is disabled in the bottom task bar. Nothing else.

Changes: Replaced a faulty nVidia Quadro FX (1400) with a Radeon XFX HD6570

Replace a defective nVidea, I installed a HD6570 of XFX Radeon in. Then the sound disappeared. After checking with AMD, I learned that the graphics card has a sound chip of its own. The missing audio problem is known, and it has a link to this information: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU-73NoOnBoardAudioSound.aspx

My problem is that W7 shows "no Audio devices installed. The menu is so totally blank and so I can not change any device priority or set as default. I install the Realtek driver, but there is no configurable options. I also checked the "Catalyst Control Center" AMD and there no options about the audio either. As a last resort, I open the Device Manager in W7 and checked: tab "Audio, video and game", I can see the AMD driver. On the System tab, I can see the High Definition Audio Controller.

I tried to reload the driver, the disableing software and the re-help drivers in different ways, but with the same result: the computer is silent.

    Hello:

You've done everything you'd think could solve the problem.

Actually, the fix is obscure, but it is very easy to do.

Here is what happened.  The video card, as you well pointed out, has its own processor, HDMI.

Your PC, being a vintage earlier and is a workstation company, is not designed to automatically process this type of new fangled device.

He felt the new device audio and automatically disabled the integrated audio system because he thinks you have installed an add on the sound card.

So what you have to do, it is restart the PC and press the F10 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to access the BIOS.

Look somewhere in the onboard device configuration menu, and you will find onboard audio setting that did not exist before.

It will have the value either disabled or Auto. On my dc7800, it has been set to disabled when I installed my Radeon HD 6570.

Just change the setting to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and again when you exit the BIOS (save settings and exit).

On reboot, you now have your audio back on-board, and if you plug an HDMI cable to a TV to the video card, you will get audio HDMI.

Sorry you had to go through all this troubleshooting.

  • Strong vibration of AMD Radeon HD 6570 in HP Pavilion

I have a HP Pavilion p6-2022 with an AMD Radeon HD 6570. For 6 months, he has executed well and very discreetly, but suddenly, there is a vibration noise. I opened it and believe the fan on the 6570 comse or if not the fan then the fan vibrates against the card 6570.

I can't find another source for the noise.

Has anyone seen/heard it before or I'm looking in the wrong place?

I would be grateful for any help on this.

    Hello:

Probably the fan bearings are shot.

That's why I buy fanless video cards.

It is the 6570, I bought. I love it so much, I got one for my other office.

  • ProBook: Windows freeze on ProBook 6570 b - Diagnostics failure ID...

I have notebook ProBook 6570 b problem with Windows 64-bit 7Prof. My warranty just ended.

Recently, it freezes everytime I try to open the new program, install something or open the browser. Is sometimes gel just after the start. ALT + ctrl + del does not work every time. When I open the Task Manager, the CPU usage is very low and it uses only a few % of memory.

After diagnosis HP at the start, I've got this failure ID:

    94G5B0-1LN7HQ-MFKSXG-60Qe03

    Chkdsc gives no error.

Does that mean ID failure (can't find enywhere)?

60Qe03 is probably the failure of disk (according to google). Should I buy a new drive and reinstall Windows? Or should I try Windows recovery on this drive? Average whitch of go - disk or system?

    Hello

ID done failure refers to failure of hard drive. You need to replace the HARD disk, and then install the operating system by using a recovery disk set and this will solve the problem.

    Concerning

  • Unable to choose the resolution 2560 x 1440 with ATI Radeon HD 6570

    product: HP Pavilion p7-1030be

    OS: windows 7-64 bit

I installed the latest drivers from AMD and the latest driver from the Dell monitor.

This HP desktop computer includes an ATI Radeon HD 6570 with 2 GB graphics card. AMD and HP specifications list a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.

I connected a Dell U2711 monitor using a DVI Dual-Link cable. Native resolution of the display is 2560 x 1440. Monitor seems to be recognized by Windows (in Device Manager).

I can't select the correct resolution in the windows settings. Mentioned maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080.

When I list the modes in the advanced settings, 2560 x 1440 is not available either (I disabled the 'show only the modes supported by the monitor' thing).

    What's wrong?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Filip.

    Hi all

HP support contacted me (their initiative!) and confirmed there is a problem with the type of graphics, ATI RADEON card such that it does not support the high resolution of the DELL U2711.

They send me a NVIDIA card as a replacement. It should work according to them, I've already found myself :-)

Kudos to HP for really committing to solve the problem.

    Kind regards

Geez, how could someone enter into your computer to steal the wireless card? In any case, your device supports the following cards:

    • Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200 802.11 b/g/n (2 x 2)
    • Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 (2 x 2)
    • BCM943228HM4L of Broadcom 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi Adapter (2 x 2)

    Hello:

There is no graphics "card" in your notebook.

Graphic design is configured as a removable and not scalable chip and the circuit integrated on the motherboard.

The only way that graphs can be upgraded would be completely swap the motherboard with that contained in the service manual for your model with the best graphics.
