HP C6180 will not work on windows 7

OK, I have seen that other people have this same problem in other threads but I don't see that he is resolved to anywhere.

That's the problem.

My C6180 worked perfectly on my old PC with Vista.

I now have a new PC with Windows 7 64 bit.

I downloaded the new software & drivers from HP for my printer and operating system.

He moved until he wants to detect the printer on the network.

When he tries to do this it comes up with the message "we were unable to locate your printer on the wireless network.

I tried to connect by ethernet and wireless.

None of these options can be found the printer.

It then gives you the option under Advanced options to search by IP address. I tried this too and still no good.

The printer works well with other PC on the network running Vista XP &, so that the printer is connected to the network very well.

Oddly enough, my PC can also find the printer and I can't even print it directly by other programs, but cannot adjust properties or scan or fax.

HP Solution Center will not open because it says "HP solutions Center can not run because your installation of the device is not complete.

I tried all the options I can think and not their work.

I spent about 10 hours tring to fix this that I desperately need to digitize and adjust the properties of the printer.

If anyone can help, I'll have to go and buy another printer which will be a great shame that I just recently bought this one and think it's great (or at least I did on Vista!)

Please can someone with some knowledge or someone who has finally worked this problem out please help me?

I'm at my wits end.

Here's hoping.

Thank you very much.

Have you disabled the firewall of your security system?  The Windows Firewall is rarely in the way, but security systems do.
