HP Compaq 6735 s does not start

Hello

My 6735 s departure power lights up for about 5 seconds and then stops before anything shows on the screen. The blue power light shows, the indicators wireless show orange and the fan starts but that's all. I had a browse the Forum to see if there were similar problems already posted, but couldn't see anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello

When I turn on my laptop HP compaq 6510 b it DISPLAYS this message: your bios has not finished updating 6510b.after flashing the bios of the laptop does not start .it displays the same message (your bios did not complete the 6510 b update) and turns off. I cannot access the bios by pressing F10.the bios version was F16 and flash by F20 .will help thank you very much.

I'll have to return a verdict of laptop motherboard bricked due to a failure of the BIOS upgrade. Sorry, but it happens.

This means that this would require the replacement of the BIOS chip to make it work again.

  • Compaq 56z-200: does not start

In my view, an overheating problem. He always ran hot, even when it is new and clean. Wife and children insisted on holding their towers to use and also blocked vents a problem. Symptoms: 1) the final a few times it would start the a/c with an error message (battery failure) (this only refers to the main battery only or the BIOS battery?) (2) after 10 or 15 minutes of use a gray screen blocking. Let it cool would allow it to restart. -How distinguish the problem I did one last backup with starting on a USB key. During other troubleshooting with impulse of air to cool the screen turned gray and I was to turn it off, the screen quickly started to turn red from bottom to top, and then it turns off. -Since then, it does not start, even using the USB key. It lights up, the fan seems to work and it gives an indication it is powered (a/c), but none of the keys work, and the caps lock light flashes 1 x per second continuously. QUESTION: I've already replaced the computer. Is a throw away the old, or something simple and inexpensive could record for games or surfing the net safely? Y at - it parts worth saving, HDD, RAM etc? My computer, a Comqaq 2000 seems looks the same, except for the name.

  • HE commands to work - Compaq Presario SR5000 does not start

I have a Compaq Presario SR5000 running Windows Vista Edition family basic and once we got in, I first cleaned the internals to the air compressed, then tried to start, and it failed, so recommended BIOS I run the Startup Repair tool and so I did, and the startup repair couldn't fix the computer "automatically".

Now, I run the system restore and I tried to restore the computer to its last Windows Update, and I got the error code 0 x 80070002, meaning that the system cannot find the specified file.

Specifications for the Compaq Presario SR5000 I have:

AMD Sempron LE-1250 to 2.20 GHz

    2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM Samsung

WDC WD3200AAJS 320 GB HDD at 3.0 Gbps

Phoenix BIOS CMOS review 5.16 12/11/2008

    Windows Vista Home Basic

    HP M2N86 - THE mother

    Power supply PS-5251-08 LiteON 250W

Well, if this is the case, then I think you may try to access BIOS, if that does not work then go ahead with the HARD drive option. I had this problem before and I wiped the hard and it worked eventually. If this does not work, I will try and find a different solution.

  • Compaq evo n610c does not start

On May 7, 2010 my Compaq evo N610c would boot is no longer using a battery 1 years and a power adapter c bought the same year (2009). Without battery back installed and using only a c power, I noticed that the front battery light flashes constants 8 consecutive flashes. Installing battery below with a trendy c, the indicator light flashes 8 times once then stops completely. No boot or indications of electricity except the 8 consecutive flashes. How can I fix this problem with your technical help?

Do all very simple, basic stuff first and don't complicate questions take your time, this is a must. Take a rest if nessessary. Then go back to the difficulty of the laptop not operating, disconnect the laptop from the wall. Then remove the battery, memory (ram) chips and then remove the hard drive. Then reconnect the power cord for your laptop computer and the wall outlet. So, or if you receive the same light that flashes in the battery of the portion of front indicator along while your laptop is connected then finally power, it could be the small battery watch itty-bitty plugged into your motherboard the fancy name for it is the battery CMOS. Find it and take it out... Wait a minute! Reinstall the battery itty bitty. Your laptop should start, if other difficulties with any operational material occurs, spend 5.00 to buy another battery to your local convince store. Take your computer before hand to a technician for repair will cost you at least $180 and they tend to feel guilty to charge you that much either... Just for $5.00 battery replacement. See, I answered my own question taking my own time-same guy who wrote the community for technical assistance. Thanks to all and you're welcome.

  • Compaq Presario F768WM does not start

I have a presario F768 that no longer starts. Blue power light is stable, power cord. When I press the power button, the blue power lights the button lights up with the power led and hard drive indicator. After a second, all the lights go out. power indicator at the front goes out for a second, then back.

I tried the hard reset, remove the memory and disk hard and always the same symptoms.

It started after an update Vista hung and computer had to be turned off manually.

Looks like your motherboard has gone bad, I know that cell phones series F700 comes with NVIDIA GeForce Go graphics. What plauge of HP and Compaq laptops. what you call sounds just like what everyone has experienced this same problem.

  • Computer does not start after the screen of the bios, Compaq Presario SR1023WM

Ok. Trying to fix a friend's computer and seem to have met a strange barrier.

Problem: The computer does not start after the bios screen.

Details: When you turn on the computer, the compaq logo with intel inside is and has the < F1 Setup > and < F10 System Recovery > options listed as well. And that's it as far as the computer becomes. After that the computer just locked up, no work of buttons on the keyboard lights keyboard ect ect. I tried the puree on the F1 key, as soon as I turn on the computer and I can handle so he can say * entering setup * but it freezes again after this point. I already tried to eliminate the possible sources of the problem, removed all expansion cards, HDD and Dvd Rom module only disconnected, only memory (256 MB ddr 2700), power, vga and keyboard connected. Ive also used the jumper on the motherboard to clear the cmos, hoping that would solve the problem without success. I tried using a different memory stick and different memory as well... Tried to use both a ps2 and a usb keyboard... Ive even tried pulling the rider for the protection of the bios password (even if she did not have a password on it, just try everything I can think of).

The installed bios version is 3.1, and that's all that I know on the computer at this point, except that the website tells me to him.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=411354 & LC = on & CC = US & DLC = in & Submit.y = 5 & Submit.x = 3 & lang = to & CC = US <-link to the Web page for the model #.

I'm basically at a loss on this one, so if someone feels scroll line-by-line of their brains on this one, I'd be very happy.

I have a pretty strong understanding of computer repair, so feel free to give me something to try.

If you need more information out of me, let me know as well.

Try to clear the CMOS again but this time remove CMOS battery and hold the power button on a few seconds. Replace the battery, then try to start back to the top.

At the back of the pc is the condition of the PSU led green or flashing?

  • Compaq 6200 PRO MT: Makes the computer does not start after upgrade CPU

I have the HP Compaq 6200 PRO PC of MT 615114-001 motherboard and processor Intel Celeron CPU (LGA 1155). After I changed the CPU for Intel Core i5 (LGA 1155) computer does not start. He begins a minute (less than one second) and stops again. No beeps. After you have installed the Celeron back everything works fine. i5 CPU is brand new. What can be?

In my previous post, I explained the reason it has not worked, and listed the CPU that will work.

HP tests CPU in the laboratory and publishes a list of processors that will work in a notebook.

Notebook motherboard BIOS has a list of processors that will work. If it is installed, which is not encoded as OK in the BIOS ROM file, then this will not work.

Processors published (in the maintenance guide & Service for your nttebook series model) are available in models that can be deilvered in State CTO (configured to order).

  • Computer does not start after the screen goes blank & Compaq.

    Hello

A few weeks ago, I turned on my PC and it showed at the Compaq screen and then went to a blank screen & would not respond. I held the switch button to turn it off and after 4 attempts, it start fine. Next time, it took 20 attempts to initialize and now it does not start, it will be maybe if I try like 100 times he can do... The problem is when the Compaq screen comes up it comes only for like a second so I know that it does not start, if the Compaq screen stays for a few seconds as 3 + I know it will load windows and start.

History > the computer originally had XP and has been replaced with VISTA memory was 2 * 512MB, but it was a bit slow and I was advised to upgrade. I bought 2 * 1 GB memory and put it in my PC a few months there may be 5 + had no problem so far.

    I tried the following:

Remove the memory and replace it. Remove the 2 * 1 GB of memory and its replacement by the Moose 2 * 512MB to check if the memory is at fault.

Cleaning of the dust around the fan (at this point, I removed the fan over the CPU and cleaned the thermal compound from the CPU to make it nice and shiny, only tried to start one time after that for a few seconds heard blowing fan and turend it took off. Depuis_lors, I realized that it wasn't just muck and had a purpose na derwiche put a little more on)

Remove the battery of the BIOS for half a day

    Move jumpers CMOS from1, 2 to 2, 3 positions

I can not get into the same if BIOS start and hold F1 he will show me the BIOS for a second and then go to a black screen.

    Hi guys,.

I gave my pc to somone to look to the he tried not to turn on he opened it removed cleaning my thermal paste back on and told me it was working fine.

  • Compaq does not start without charger

    First of all:

Product name: Compaq Presario CQ57 301SA

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

My problem is that whenever I try to boot my laptop with only the battery as energy source, it does not start. The equipment starts and everything, but displays only a black screen. No flashing in the keyboard and the power led is displayed.

If I plug in charger and connect it to the laptop, which is the only time that the contineus to laptop to display the startup process.

At first I thought that there may be a problem in the battery, but it is completely charged (100%), said the HP battery check is OK, and whenever I remove the charger after startup and the logon Windows stage, the laptop does not turn off.

Just for the background story: I recently sent my HP laptop for hardware failure and they replaced my motherboard. When I picked up, they turned on without the charger plugged and it starts up successfully. When I turned it on in my own home, this happens.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

  • HP Compaq DC7800 does not start properly (fan is going crazy)

Yesterday I wanted to add a TV tuner card to my DC7800, but after that, I saw that the power of the tuner (no PCI) card had disappeared. I decided to shut down the computer and run it. I would work out the power cable later.

Since then, the computer does not start really. Looks like it starts and the fan starts to turn. After some time, the fan goes completely wild! There is no beeps of the main card. So, it seems that BIOS does not either.

    Please help me!

Next: is it possible to get the answers here notificiations email?

My apologies for not responding earlier!

I have fixed the problem. I removed the firewire card and then started the pc. After that I insterted the card firewire again and both times the computer still worked.

Probably what happened is this: I had the tunercard connected to the firewire card, but no power supply again. Most likely the tunercard was draining the energy of the firewire card and this way the power supply of the computer has become a sort of State course...

  • CPU does not start. No beeps.

I have a Compaq Presario SR1729NX. It's mostly stock except for the memory and video update. I noticed a week or two ago she turned slowly. When I went it reboot, all the lights were flashing as they do normally, but the fan just spun and 'polyurethanerouge '. Held the power button for 10 seconds and it has restarted correctly. A restart a week later took five times. Today, it does not start. I read through the forum, and a person with a similar probem was asked about a bulging capacitor. I don't have one, but it is not rounded to the breaking point. What are the chances that a bulging capacitor is the problem? I'll be able to fix it myself? Thanks in advance for all advice.

    The motherboard is: EK458-69001

I found a supplier for this part right hereonline.

Motherboards are not so difficult to replace in a desktop computer.

  • The PC does not start

When to connect the PC with power source and never push the PC power button. PCs come with 4 beeps and continued to repeat 4 beeps again. I don't know why?

    1. I am trying to replace it with the new RAM, but not resolved

    2. remove power supply to drive hard & CD/DVD-ROM, but not resolved

Maybe problem come power PC or the main card?
