In other words, Firefox 12.0 on WIn2k, sp4 works better than firefox on winxp sp2 25.0! What gives? I went through and set up my options for XP just like I did with Win2k and everything looks good, but firefox 25.0 don't know just my chosen and always default place to give me fortune player and I am not able to actually copy the mp3 files on my hard drive - it's firerox almost unusable 25.0 since downloading mp3 files is a big part of my use firexfox - please help. I am not able to upgrade windows at this time, and since firefox 12.0 still works fine on win2k, I do not understand what has happened to firefox?

• XPS M1530 with new SSD will not identify adapter WLAN 1395

  I just bought a new SSD 128 GB for my old workhorse XPS M1530, installed a clean VISTA Ultimate 32 bit OS since the original DVD supplied with the laptop.  Everything works except the wireless 1395 adapter.

  I know that the material of the wifi card is good, because wifi still works when I put the old 64 GB SSD back in. I use the same version of WLAN driver on the new facility.  Device Manager indicates that the adapter is installed and working properly.  Yet the computer with the new SSD does not recognize that the wireless network adapter is installed and activated.

  I use the WLAN driver and BIOS version recommended Support Dell for my service number.  These are the same versions that I have on the former SSDS.

  I'm tempted to reformat the new SSD and start all over again, but that takes a lot of time to reinstall everything. And I wouldn't waste 10 GB on the new SSD to install the recovery partition on the new SSD which lies on the former SSDS and do a restore on the new SSD.  I have more certain supplied software preinstalled on your laptop.

  I made an another clean install of the operating system on the new SSD, and this time, I found and used the Drivers and Utilities of original disc that came with the laptop to install the DELL software system utility first.  That did the trick, because when I installed the drivers of that era, the WLAN 1395 works.

  Now I have a space wasting a 22 Gb Windows.old directory, but I am happy.  I'm going to reformat the drive in the morning then it is plugged to my laptop in an external USB SATA drive enclosure and start with a clean car and redo the OS install again, this time properly.

  It's a bit ironic that the DELL system software utility has not been showing available for my service on the support.dell.com site tag.

  Lesson learned.  I'll post tomorrow how the last OS install goes on the SSD clean and new.

• InDesign CC 2014 has not copied through shortcuts or preferences

  Open InDesign CC 2014, after getting a random update for my Creative series installation of all new programs, only to find that it has not copied through any of my shortcuts or preferences under the part highlighted "seamless update" of "what's new".

  Really disappointing considering the amount of questions I've had with InDesign since the previous CC updated a couple of weeks ago.

  Does anyone know an easy solution? Or do I go and set up my shortcuts and preferences again?

  WEBosdoctor'ed the phone and it still has not installed the update (failed).

  Call in the experts to see if there are any other technique not too complicated to solve the problem.  WebOS is 2.1.2.

  I have seen one that required some hacking of level intermediate directories for reset the certificate, but a bit too risky for my basic skill level.
