  The manual indicates that it takes up to 12 GB which is a 4 GB and 8 GB module to the module but regularly, users have reported success with 2 x 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. For most of the users 8 GB is a lot and it would mean just remove the module from 2 gig you have now and its replacement by a 4 GB. What that you choose to do I would have 2 modules size even for enable support dual channel. 8 concerts running dual channel is likely to be just as good as 12 concerts running in single channel due to incompatible modules.   It is not really possible to update the graphics card that the component is actually welded to the motherboard.  Even if you could find someone with the necessary skills to be able to do so, the bios has a "whitelist" of allowed devices and almost certainly would refuse to start on the detection of a device not rated.

• G72-B66US CPU Upgrade

  Plans to upgrade the processor of this laptop, I can not find anywhere to see if it's possible.  I'm getting into video editing and by the spec reqs of Sony to run Sony Vegas I encounter but when I make real change in the timeline has occasional hiccups.

  I'm looking in the upgrade for an i7, so I have no treatment problems.

  I recently bought a HP G72-B66US laptop. It came with Windows 7 Edition home premium. I tried to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. However, after the update level, all my original disappear from the system. Now I can not even use my phone to connect with the Wi - Fi connection. How can I go back to the original system of HP?

  I suggest trying the same thing in another browser. If you use temporarily shift Internet Explorer Firefox4 or Google Chrome. There is a good reason to always have access to another browser available on your PC.

  Since you have a 64-bit operating system, you might have installed a 4 GB chip and had 6 GB.

  One day you can install 2 x 4 GB and 8 GB if you want.

  Actually, the manual says if I just read that Trail Bay models have 2 memory slots. I am skeptical. Is yours have a coverage of service for memory? If this isn't the case, it will require removal of the motherboard to access.

  It seems that DDR3L-1600 memory is compatible with all versions of this model of laptop, even if some will be downclock at 1333.

  The official number of HP for a 8 GB module is:

  Hi all

  Ordered little RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A, but can not find, for the life of me, anything where you want to insert online.

  I previously installed RAM under the keyboard (couple of clips holding it) and on the other, a small cover on the bottom, but the Z40 does not appear to be anywhere easily accessible.

  Has anyone upgraded RAM on the Z40? Or is it a big no, no, because of the guarantee?

  Memory upgrade on this model Tecra is a bit complicated and, in my view, should not be done by the owner of the laptop. For some models of Ram upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and exact instructions how do proposed in document s user manuals, but not for your Tecra.

  For full access to the RAM modules lower lid should be removed and it can be done by people of service only. If you do this alone you can void the warranty valid.
  I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help or advice.

  I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers.   AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!

  I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.

  Toshiba offers modules to 4 GB compatible and tested for your machine and there PA3677U-1M4G part number. Check the specs of this module and pick up info that one you can use.

  Please note: a lot of people are trying to use some modules cheap and later report here on this forum about the issues so I highly recommend you to obtain 100% compatible RAM.
