  • Officejet G85 prints on Windows 8.1

I just installed a new PC with Windows Pro 8.1 as operating system.

Send a document to the result of the printer by printing a half-page, then the operating system displays an error message indicating that the printer cannot print the document.

I tried to unstall the driver using the statement of Sunshyn2005, but I could not.

The warning message indicates that the printer is in use?

I did a reboot to have its own memory, but continues to display this warning message.

I am not able to uninstall the Officejet G85 printerdriver and reinstall again according to the instructions of the manufacturer of Sunshyn2005 .

Please can someone give me a solution?

I found this answer on another site and it worked for my computer.

The G85 printer has made to get its data from a USB2 entry. You probably use a newer computer. This computer has taken USB2 and USB3.  You, like me, accidentally plugged the G85 one taken USB3. It must simply be plugged into a USB2 plug.

This video explains the difference between the two types of USB and shows clearly what to look for in the containers in order to be able to tell the difference between them and get your G85 connected on the right.

  • G85 Print cartridges do not line up

My G85 printer has indicated that the black cartridge is low and must be replaced.  After you have inserted a new cartridge, the cartridges doesn't have to line up despite several attempts to complete the alignment process.  I removed and reinserted the black cartridge, but the alignment process has always failed.  I remove and reinsert the black cartridges and color, but that did not give positive results either. I reinserted the original black cartridge, yet once nothing helped.   At this point, I'm running out of things to try.

Is it a hardware failure and can be that after repairing the printer will work or does have a suggestion that I could try before I give up?

The automatic alignment process requires that the black cartridges and color work properly.  If the alignment page printing in both black and color (yellow or cyan, I don't remember for this model), it is possible that the sensor alignment is fogged. You may be able to solve this problem by cleaning the lower part of the sensor with a cotton swab.  The sensor is a small black protrusion on a 1/4 "wide and 3/4" deep which is connected in the bottom right of the cart near the back.

  • Print from iPad

You can select a partial page to print from the iPad. Should what app I use?

Instead of considering the real estate of the iPad ("partial page") then determine what is printed, it would be much better to think in terms of the application you are trying to print from.

For example, if you try to print one or more photos in a group of pictures displayed on the screen of the iPad, then Yes, it is a way to do it.  Or if you try to print a note or a Safari page, Yes, you can do the same.

    Hello

AirPrint is already built into the iPad. I have included a link below with some instructions on how to use it. As long as your ipad and the printer are connected to the same wifi network, AirPrint must operate, your printer is active AirPrint.

  • the printer for printing for iPad e code

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me.

Im not sure same as that the right edge to post. I have questions about the devices Mac, Apple devices. They are Android?

My HP ENVY 4500 E printer works fine on my MacBook Pro. It works wirelessly with no problems. I got the printer set up by a guy help remotely, I called on 06 may, when I google in charge so that I could actually have a conversation with someone on the way to do. It turns out want money from me rip off stuff. But he received the printer works. The problem is that I have no idea what he was doing. He took the control remote for a while. I never had to use the disk of the box.

Now I would e print from my iPad and iPhone 6. I think that the code of the printer that was in the box with my printer is no longer valid.

I tried the forum here, looked different answers, but none of them seem to work for me.  How can I start?

I installed the app on my iPad and keep clicking on 'Activate' but no email comes to my e-mail with a code.

    Thank you.

    Hey @Bracelet,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.  I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you plan to print from your iOS (iPhone, iPad) devices with ePrint your HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.  I have some friendly suggestions that might help.

When the printer was you first Setup on the MacBook Pro, it is likely that its software has been installed on the HP website (for reference).  If you're wondering what Android is, like iOS (Apple), it's a mobile device (mobile phones, tablets) operating system.

Now, answer your main question, here how activate ePrint:

You can print using ePrint service of HP, either by directly send print jobs to the address @hpeprint.com your printer or via the application of HP ePrint.  Here's how to fill out your installation ePrint for both of the above methods:

    • If you have a Wi - Fi connection, tap the icon of webservices/ePrint on the front of your printer.
    • Enable Web services and press OK to allow your printer to update automatically.
    • If you are interested, you can click here to get instructions on how to create a custom address ePrint.

If you have enabled Web services successfully, you can start to transfer the content that you want to print (emails, documents, photos) by e-mail at the address @hpeprint.com your printer. Are one of the ways to simplify the process by adding the address of your printer @hpeprint.com to the book of list of contacts/address of your iPad so that you don't have to manually enter the address whenever you want to send a printing job.

If you are looking for more options, particularly with the print content of email, iCloud or photos, click here to install the HP ePrint app.  Once you activate the application with your personal email address, you will find that this is the most complete printing method when you use an iPad.  Just like the ePrint via method email, proximity to your printer to the iPad doesn't is more a factor in the impression.  As long as your iPad has an internet connection and you have left your printer on or in standby mode, you can send it ePrint jobs from virtually anywhere.

Please reply to this message with details or questions, if you experience any problems during the finalization of the configuration of one of the methods suggested impression that I presented above.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

Just got a new printer, how do I set up printing via my apple ipad

    DebbieCrane

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Congratulations on your new HP printer!

You must perform the following steps:

    • Install your printer on your home network (front panel of the printer) and / or install the full functionality for the printer software (which is the printer on the network).
    • Follow the basic instructions to set up ePrint and print your claim record (web services) - paper should have come with your printer, or you can make the printer print a new document with the information
    • create an HP account connected to be able to talk to the e-mail address of your ePrint printer settings (and make changes to your ePrint settings)
    • set up "an App for that" on your iPad so it can send jobs to the printer

It seems more difficult than it is.  The smile.

AirPrint feature to print from any Apple device (which IOS 4.2 or later version) which is connected to the same network as the printer.  Thus, to use the AirPrint feature, both the printer and Apple devices must be on the same local network.  However, the ePrint feature allows you to print from anywhere in the world as long that your printer has to an internet connection and is turned on. So, your best option is to put in place the ePrint feature.  I hope that that clears it for you.  The process step by step is under "Setting up ePrint" on the following HP Web site:
