HP Gseries

I was in my photo album and when the computer went to sleep he froze. So now you have black screen. I did turn off and try to restart twice, but is exactly the same thing, always frozen with black screen. The power, caps lock, shift and numbers lock light is on and I can hear it running. The only thing I noticed is that it's super hot left side by a vent. I ended up turning off again (I know bad) because of the heat it was getting. Help please!

Try a clean boot.

Or it could also be the hard drive, which gives you the question.

Try testing the hard outside. http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If this does not work out the hard drive and try to get into the BIOS by pressing F10 early upward and let me know if it does.

  • 8.1 64-bit windows installation...

K, I knew some steps like entering the BIOS and the legacy support and disable secure startup and start fast, but after that I have a few questions, until I started to ask I'll install windows on DVD

First question:-l' computer will be able to start the DVD automatically? or I need to set the boot order?

Second question:-are there drivers I need in the middle of the progress of the installation? Or just the DVD?

BTW, my machine is HP Pavilion Gseries (G6).

    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

    Hello:

The best thing to do to start from the DVD is to turn on the PC and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, press the ESC key to get the BIOS options menu.

Select the F9 boot options menu, and then the DVD player from the list.

Press the Enter key and the PC should boot from the DVD.

No additional driver is required during the installation process.

  • HP Pavilion G6-1215ex: could not find "Wireless adapter" in my device manager.

    Hello.

I recently formatted my HP Gseries laptop and reinstalled all the drivers. Towards the end of it, I couldn't find my adapter wireless listed in my device manager. I can connect to the internet via a connection fixed but the Wireless does not exist. When I try to install the wireless driver, the Setup program cannot detect the wireless network card.  I tried the following, which none has seemed to work:

Turned on the wireless devices. Bluetooth works. Wi - Fi nope.

Checked for possible compatibility problems drivers.

There was something a little "unrecognized network controller" in the "other devices" category, which I assume is my wireless adapter. Therefore, I have included the hardware below id if this would be of any help. Please help me find the appropriate patches for my problem.

  • BSOD about every 2 or 3 days

I bought a pc of office about 3-4 months ago and it has been a huge headache. It has windows 7 with what seems like AMD controlling a lot of the material (I think). I'm not the most computer and I tried to get error codes each time but nothing I found so far seems to help.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers until my fingers are ready to bleed (mouse, usb, video, enabled updates constantly, etc.). I get the error code is not always the same no more. I'm at my wits end trying to get this resolved. Here's my last werfault, I got.

I have some more dumps 8 if more if more is needed. I honestly tried to figure this point but it's beyond my small skills.

    Thanks for any help/suggestions

Probably caused by: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt! KiProcessExpiredTimerList + 72)

Although the dump file reports not directly the ATI display driver, but when we take a glance on the gross of the battery, we can see that it is referenced as having bad load.

There might be a reason that has nothing to do with the driver itself, but it is more likely that unlikely, that the driver is incompatible with your motherboard just for the simple fact that it is the last driver (generic) available from ATI/AMD, it seems.

What I would say is that you uninstall this driver and install the driver to 2015 expected by ASRock, motherboard. It's less than a year old and probably more stable than the one currently installed.

I would also say that you update your BIOS. (Links below)

    Hello

    There is a display problem.
Whenever you have a display problem, you should look for a solution in your first front-end.
For example, if you use SQL * more as your front end, you can use the SQL * PLus STOP command.

Using the scott.emp and dept tables to illustrate, you seem to be something like this:

    SELECT *
    FROM (
              SELECT d.deptno
              , d.dname
              , d.loc
              , e.job
              , COUNT (*) AS cnt
              FROM scott.dept d
              JOIN scott.emp e ON d.deptno = e.deptno
              GROUP BY d.deptno
              , d.dname
              , d.loc
              , e.job
           )
    ORDER BY deptno
    , dname
    , loc
    , job
    ;

    and output like this:

        DEPTNO DNAME LOC JOB CNT
    ---------- -------------- ------------- --------- ----------
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK CLERK 1
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK MANAGER 1
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK PRESIDENT 1
            20 RESEARCH DALLAS ANALYST 2
            20 RESEARCH DALLAS CLERK 2
            20 RESEARCH DALLAS MANAGER 1
            30 SALES CHICAGO CLERK 1
            30 SALES CHICAGO MANAGER 1
            30 SALES CHICAGO SALESMAN 4

I think that what you're asking is how to display columns deptno, dname and loc only when there is a change in them.
If you give the following SQL * Plus STOP command:

BREAK ON deptno ON dname ON loc

before running the query, you will get the desired result:

. DEPTNO DNAME LOC JOB CNT
    ---------- -------------- ------------- --------- ----------
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK CLERK 1
                                            MANAGER 1
                                            PRESIDENT 1
            20 RESEARCH DALLAS ANALYST 2
                                            CLERK 2
                                            MANAGER 1
            30 SALES CHICAGO CLERK 1
                                            MANAGER 1
                                            SALESMAN 4

Do not change the query at all.

You can get the same results by using analytic functions in SQL, but it is more difficult.
The LAG function is often used for this.
In this query, where you already get the data in a subquery, and several columns have the same criteria for display, ROW_NUMBER might be easier:

SELECT CASE WHEN r_num = 1 THEN deptno END AS "DeptNo"
, CASE WHEN r_num = 1 THEN dname END AS "DName"
, CASE WHEN r_num = 1 THEN loc END AS "Loc"
    , job
    , cnt
    FROM (
              SELECT d.deptno
              , d.dname
              , d.loc
              , e.job
              , COUNT (*) AS cnt
              , ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY d.deptno
                                  , d.dname
                                  , d.loc
                                    ORDER BY e.job
                                  ) AS r_num
              FROM scott.dept d
              JOIN scott.emp e ON d.deptno = e.deptno
              GROUP BY d.deptno
              , d.dname
              , d.loc
              , e.job
           )
    ORDER BY deptno
    , dname
    , loc
    , job
    ;

Be sure to use aliases for columns that are not the same as raw columns
The ORDER BY clause must use the raw values, not the results of CASES, who put all the values that are hidden at the end, because they have the value NULL.
