HP Jet 8: Which is better 10 Windows or Windows 8.1 on 8 HP flow?

Which is better 10 Windows or Windows 8.1 on 8 HP flow?

The biggest problem with the tablets of flow and win 10 is battery draining, especially in "standby mode". The only work around is turn off wifi, bluetooth and the location in the settings before you let sleep. Not a very good alternative.

You can return if you delete the old Windows folder that was created during the upgrade.

Go to settings > update & Security > Recovery > go back to a previous version of Windows.

Follow the prompts.

If you can not go back, and you have not created a recovery image before the upgrade, you will need to contact HP support for recovery media.

The MS media creation tool that microsoft must create a USB key for 8.1 installation, will work on the flow of a recovery. Unless you buy a new key for this option to work.

  • Problem after installing Windows Service Pack 3 on Windows XP Home edition error Media pc: files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unknown...

Original title: problem after installing Windows Service Pack 3 on Windows XP Home Media edition pc

My pc runs Windows XP Home Media edition.  I installed Windows Service Pack 3 successfully, or so I thought. Whenever I turn on my pc a box opens indicating "files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions."  To maintain the stability of the system.  Windows must restore the original versions of these files.  Install your Windows XP Professional CD2.  I don't have any Windows XP Professional CD that I use the Home Media Edition. If I press Cancel repeatedly, the window disappears to return with the same information, but ask me to install Windows XP Professional CD3.  How can I stop this happening?

    Hello

Step 1: I suggest you perform the SFC scan on the computer and check.

SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
    2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
    3. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.

  • Which is better, migration or clean install?

Recently, I switched from PC to Mac, and I have a program from my PC (Quick Books) I want to be able to turn on my Mac.  I am considering the merger of 6 to do this, but I have a few questions before I dive.

    1. I have a xp sp2 installation disc.  I read in the documentation of Fusion 6 it supports xp sp3.  Can I create a virtual machine using my drive?  If not, is there a workaround? Yes, I have a certificate of authenticity.

    2. my PC has xp sp3 installed so I guess that I would be able to migrate, but I wish that all the operating system and the QB without all the other applications and files that are installed on the machine.  Is this possible?  And if so, how buggy would?  I'd be better off buying a new copy of windows to

install?  Which brings me to the question

    3. which is better, migration or clean install?

Thank you in advance for your help!

If the copy of Windows XP that you have the certificate of authenticity for is an OEM version supplied with the PC that you are allowed to transfer to another system, physical or vital, because he lives and dies on its original system install on it EULA.

P2V is an important, and sometimes necessary mechanism however own building will be always relanceraient overall a better Virtual Machine built and less problematic than if you take the time to purge the installation P2V everything that was relevant to the physical system originally installed and even in this case the virtual partition may not be aligned correctly and therefore affect performance significantly.

In a scenario of such use you mentioned her own building is the absolute path to go and Microsoft Windows SP2 will install successfully even if you may need to download the Windows XP Service Pack 3 Installation Package network for developers and it professionals if you update via Windows Update problems.  (I would download the SP above!)  That said, don't forget that there will be no updates to Windows XP, especially security update, dated April 8, 2014 and in the circumstances I would not of Windows XP in order to have an Internet connectivity than later as Black Hat Hackers will target not doubtably Windows XP for bugs of extra security they can find after Microsoft ceases to support.  I would consider to move to a more recent version of Windows or to abandon Windows altogether!

  • To try the beta of Windows Server '8 '.

    Hello

I am (I am doing everything) two small nonprofits who is both very computerized in their demand for services.  My vision that their development involves the inevitable expansion in technology database server.  I'm still very much in the learning phase, in this regard and teaches me everything I can.

I learned a few days before, on the Technet site ' "on the beta of Windows Server '8 '.  Through my experience during my self-training and tests with Microsoft software, I discovered that it is always better to be "at the forefront," then, of course, it would be evidence of ground for my learning of suitable to my technological base to these technologies (forward-looking).

I went again to the [today, both Technet and MSDN,] and received "unable to locate this url" messages for all possible links for this beta trial software product.

I missed a deadline to try this latest server software?

All pages pointing to these links felt a need to sign up for the trial, but I could find no registration link.  When profile pages Microsoft's come-up and all these slots have been filled, and boxes checked, I always "impossible to locate this url" messages

For Windows Server 8 beta related questions, please post in forum Windows 8 beta TechNet Server:

  • Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions

I get this window popping up that reads, "files required for Windows to run correctly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.»  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.  Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now. "The problem is that I'm not running XP Professional.  I am running XP Media Edition (do not know what version - when I look at 'System' in the control panel it says version 2002, but the OS disc that came with my computer says version 2005 with update rollup 2).  In any case, I only have an installation disc, and when I insert it, the computer tells me it's the wrong disc.  What should I do?

    God help us all...

Is the CD you have an XP bootable installation CD authentic or some kind of restore CD provided with your system (they are not the same thing).  If it's a CD of Windows, this Service Pack is on the CD?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

What is your Service Pack installed?  If you are not sure, do the following:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the results here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and what appears to be personal information for you, simply delete the personal information of the pasted information.

When you see a message like this:

    Windows file protection
Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.

I hope that you are curious to know what is the file and when you know that, you can decide what to do about it.

You must click Cancel, and then click Yes to keep the file, then you will have an event to watch which will tell you what the problem is the file.

Search where you sign in to see what is the name of file system Viewer, then decide what to do.

The event will look something like in this example:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64005
    Date: 10/01/2011
    Time: 14:41:56
    Description:
The protected system file taskmgr.exe had not been restored in its original, valid version because the Windows File Protection restoration process was cancelled by user interaction, user name is Jose.  The file version of the bad file is unknown.

When you know what the file is, you can decide what to do about it.  There are probably other copies of the files on your system, or you can get the files from another source.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    eventvwr.msc

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

Check your event observer system log and look for a proposed Windows file protection event.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

P.S. Let us know how you go with these Microsoft KB article suggestions.

system in the Control Panel, he said the pack he uses. I did it in the dell desktop, but it doesn't have the information

    Hello MonteQO,

Please see the information from Microsoft on how to determine the operating system that you have installed.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/which-version-of-the-Windows-operating-system-am-i-running

If the system page does not list a Service pack version number, you don't have a service pack installed on this computer.

I hope this helps answer your question.
