  You can connect otherwise?  USB or FireWire or love at first sight?  You can connect both machines and start the one you want to transfer to target disk mode.  If your other machine is up and running with an account on it and you just want to move files, you can simply drag and drop the FRO the machine mounted TDM, or you can use the migration wizard.

  Or, if the other machine still starts and runs, you can start both computers and connect to the same wifi network and share the hard drive like machines on the network.  Access them in the finder on the new machine files and drag-and - drop, or use the wizard migration, on wifi.

  You should ask AT & T company, your Mobile or cable what they offer. 0.6 MB/s is slow for me. I live on a mountain and only high speed available here is cell. Cell phone is expensive but my speed is great to 21.6 Mbit/s and only because I live near a tower. Distance and movement affects the cell speed. Your best bet is cable.

  I suggest to use the external keyboard and check if all the keys are working properly.

  Also use the keyboard on the screen and check if it works.

  We ran a few portable computers (Acer Aspire 5517 on Vista) off the coast of our wireless router WRT120N. We have hooked to a wireless modem. All signs show that the modem and router are working well. The wireless network we were using, I'll call it network-1, stopped to appear as an option in the wireless connect menu. Previously all laptops can connect to the network-1 wired or wireless without problem. I don't know what happened to start the problem, but the network-1 is thus more a wireless network option.

  When I have a laptop from wire to the router, it connects to the internet and says it is currently connected to the network 1. But when I try to connect to the network wirelessly via a wired connection, the new network, I put does not appear in the connection menu. When I try to configure the router again (while the computer is connected), I get the error message "Windows doesn't detect any wireless network hardware. It seems that, although I am able to get internet connection through the router, the computer does not recognize it.

  One laptop is able to connect wirelessly via another network (Network-2). Looks like that Network-2 has been set up automatically by the laptop. Another laptop has Network-2 as an option, but it indicates that the network security key is bad. I have no idea what could be the password, the computer which is running network-2 automatically connect, I don't have to type a password. I don't know what happened here, if it's two different connections with the same name, or if it's the same thing. I don't even know if this is relevant.

  Well I think that for some reason any the wireless settings of your router must have reset to zero, that is the reason why you can not see the name of your wireless network. If you need to you computer to the router and connect on the router configuration page and change the settings of your router wireless.

  Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

  For wireless settings, follow these steps: -.
  Click on the Wireless tab

  -Here, select manual configuration... Wireless network mode must be mixed...
  -Provide a unique name in the name box of the wireless network (SSID) in order to differentiate your network from your network of neighbors...

  -Set the Standard - 20 MHz Radio band and change the Standard channel to 11-2, 462 GHz... Wireless SSID broadcast should be enabled and then click on save settings...
  Please take note of the name of the wireless network (SSID) because it's the network identifier...

  For wireless security: -.
  Click the sub-tab under wireless > Wireless Security...

  Change the mode of WPA wireless security, encryption, select TKIP. Password input your desired WPA key. For example, MySecretKey, this will serve as your network key whenever you connect to your wireless network. Do NOT give this key to anyone and do not forget the key.

  NOTE: The password must be more than 8 characters...

  Click the settings advanced wireless

  Change the tag to 75 interval, change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304, change the RTS threshold to 2304 and click on save settings...

  Now let's see if you can locate your wireless network and try to connect...

  I am currently using Photoshop Elements 8 on my Windows 7 home. I have a 21 inch Full HD (1080 pix) and everything works fine with a great resolution. I have never felt the need for item-level, because the version I have satisfied my needs. There are versions of new item every year to come, but I don't see any major improvement, only the new stuff which no real added value to the software. I guess that's part of the business logic that we live in today.

  Anyway, as I travel a lot I thought to buy a 15-inch laptop to be able to edit my photos so that I'm missing. I have seen that some manufacturers such as Dell or Asus offers screens of laptops with a resolution HD Ultra (2160 pix), which is twice the Full HD resolution. Don't you think that element 8 will work with a Full HD screen?

  Before hidpi views are available, you can work comfortably in the editor without problem and organizer. "In my opinion, it's the hidpi poster which are ' only of the new stuff that don't real added value to the software" feature is great for small screens on smartphones and tablets, but your eyes can compensate for the small size in inches, which is obvious with the fonts and menus. The use of elements means spending a lot of time looking at the screen. That means forcing your eyes or looking for loved ones to small fonts. Not ergonomic at all. Outside available to interface, the image itself is always seen with constant zoom for a global or detailed view. Absolutely no benefit for the hidpi screens.

  You can of course install PSE8 on a "standard" definition screen Same Full HD would give small fonts, but it's ok for me.
