  I have trouble downloading the trial/developer of CF 11 edition. I use IE 11 on a laptop computer of 'company' on which I temporary admin access. Yesterday, I followed some instructions on the help of download (compatibility setting for adobe.com) and managed to get the Akamai Downloader installed.   Hello. I just installed MS SQL Server 2005 and PeopleTools 8.49 successfully. After that, I run D:\PT8.49\setup\PsMpDbInstall\setup.exe. The wizard runs by steps and connects to SQL Server 2005 successfully. Initializing the wizard Data Mover, it stops and the message as follows:
  
  "Invalid ID to access and password for the access code. psdmtx error. Installation failed load PeopleSoft data with following error message: error: psdmtx running. Please review the log file located under the directory of the log for more details. »
  
  I opened psdmtx.log and the message is: "' PSDMTX error: access code" "
  
  Due to the error above, I've implemented PeopleTools 8.49 Configuration Manager correctly. I also run a Script of Server Configuration 'spconfig.sql' and 'connect.sql' with the adequate development of < CONNECTID > and < CONNECTPS >.
  After that, I have run "D:\PT8.49\setup\PsMpDbInstall\setup.exe" again and get the same error.
  
  In 'setup.exe' Assistant, he has only 5 entries: ID symbolic PeopleSoft (sa1), PeopleSoft Access ID (sa), the PeopleSoft access password (mypass), PeopleSoft (people) and PeopleSoft login ID connect password (mypass).

  You install on a 64 bit OS?

  If so, you must configure your system DSN ODBC for PeopleTools 32-bit client from:
  * C:\Windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe

  Confusion that the app has 32-bit in his name, and the 32-bit version of it lives in a folder named syswow64...

  Once you have configured the connection ODBC here, you should be able to connect to Data Mover, using the "bootstrap" mode (for example with the user his) and proceed with the installation.

  This OS user can connect to the database using entry PTSYS?
  You define variable env ORACLE_HOME for this user to the BONE?
  Is this OS user can read file $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora?
  Is there an entry for PTSYS in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora file?
  Have you tried to shoot with the same OS user:

  tnsping PTSYS
