  Striking F10 I am asked to enter the "current password". I tried what I think, it should be, but it won't work. After 3 attempts there is blocking gives me me error fatal... System stopped. I also try to run the startup process after having turned on the mini and it says I must register my windows.   Enter: e9lo1gg74p (to be noted that the 3rd character is a lowercase L)

  You can remove the need for a power on password as follows:-use the code above if necessary.

  Shut down the laptop.  Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to access the start menu, then select f10 to open the Bios menu.  Use the arrows to select the Security tab and press ENTER.  Use the arrow keys again to highlight the power on password and press ENTER.  Enter the current password (use the code above) and then the new password, simply leave this blank and press on enter - do the same for the confirmation field.  Press f10, select this option to save the new settings and press to enter.

  Hi, I was not on my computer Hp mini 110 for about a year and when I turn it on, it flashes all these words and numbers on BIOs for about 1 second.

  I have my laptop to a pawn shop and the old username and password were in force.  I tried on the forums in order to bypass this password and eventually causing my computer to say "Fatal Error... System stopped. »
