  I went down the Pavilion 17-f228ng for Windows 7 64-bit.

  Got any current of running, but the WLAN Module do not work.

  First problem is, that on the Site HP-driver for this laptop, are several drivers for different cards and the data sheet does not say which is the buid in this model.

  So I tried all the drivers on the site of HP-Support/driver for the model, even if they are not designed to operate with Win7 and also forced the drivers of the system to use the four (and other versions of pilot sites for Win7)---> error 10 code (driver/device cannot start).

  If someone had an idea that, with 4 (Intel-7260/3160, Broadcom 802.11b/g/n, Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE, Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series), is used in the f228ng and maybe has an idea, where I can get a driver to work for her?

  There is an easy way to tell, if you do the following steps for me and then I'll post the link for the driver for the wireless card you need...

  Go to Device Manager.  There should be a category of other devices containing a list of devices that need drivers under this category.

  The wireless card is labeled as a network controller.

  Click the network controller device, and then click the Details tab in the upper part of the window of network controller device.

  Now you should see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

  On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

  After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  And now I can use e-net only via cable.

• Need Driver for HP Pavilion DV6-6c38TX WLAN

  Hey everybody,

  I recently bought a HP Pavilion DV6-6c38TX and decided to wipe and upgrade them with a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate.

  This means, of course, I need drivers for some hardware components and am fine with everything except WLAN.

  I tried the drivers (Intel and Ralink) of the support page for the laptop and yet it still won't install.

  I'm fairly certain that the WIFI adapter is an Intel one, but could someone point me in the direction of the right driver!

  As this is a new laptop which was released only recently, it is difficult to find appropriate elsewhere help so any help is greatly appreciated!

  You need drivers.

  Go to HP.com and click on the button that says scan now. It will scan your system for software and drivers missing or obsolete.

  Here is a link to the drivers; you will need your product number.

  You can find the number for your product by holding down the FN key and pressing ESC

  I want to spend my my 2230 Centrino Wireless N WIFI card to something like the Intel Dual Band AC 7260 or just a better card WLAN N. I know there is a white list of cards that are accepted by the BIOS in the user manual, but I was wondering if when you make updates to the BIOS, this white list is updated for more cards to date. Is there a way to verify or update the whitelist?

  The current BIOS I have seems to be:

  InsydeH2O Version 03.71.51F.29

  If there is no update white list or something like that, what card is authorized by my current BIOS is the best?

  No need for anything to change. If the white list is present, it can certainly 6235 Intel and Intel 7260 AC. I tested both myself (using the 7260AC now, see the signature) and no problems at all. Just buy the chip, put it in and start. 2230 Intel use the same drivers as the above mentioned chips.

  After Installing Win 7 64 bit map of recovery dvd W - LAN does not work.

  I try to reinstall the drivers for it, but can not find drivers for it on the Toshiba download page.

  In another thread, I was able to find the download site for all the drivers for W - LAN ([http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads]), but I don't know what the WiFi card in the laptop.
  The page of the product for the L550-199 also did not mention what card it is.

  I also try to find more information about the driver and the updates to the BIOS but nothing!
  I put t know what card WLan you use but if you are using the Intel card so you can try to search on Intel sites for more details, but in my opinion, there is no hope.
  I spent several times for research for more details but only what I found was new release :(date

  As far as I know the laptop uses Intel WLan 5100AGN map and audio chip Conexant CX20561.

  The WLan driver can be downloaded here:

  Audio driver can be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.

  It is important that you install all service packs of Microsoft and patches before install you the audio driver.
  SP3 must be installed before you try to install the audio driver.
  SP3 contains necessary fixes that are important.

  So I have a Qosmio F50, and I upgraded to 4 GB of RAM, I decided to format it and install 64-bit of Windows Vista. Everything seems fine, except for the wireless LAN. I was able to find 64-bit drivers for each component with the exception of the wireless LAN. It's a WLAN atheros chip, and I couldn't find 64-bit drivers for it on the Toshiba page. There are however 32-bit drivers for it, but they do not seem to work

  Is there another place I can find these drivers? I tried as much as I can, but could not find something that works. And I don't know what the exact model of chip is no more.
