HP Pavilion g7 - 2250ev Notebook: Bluetooth is gone/unplugged

Nice day

For about a month now, both my bluetooth devices and drivers disappeard from my laptop. I managed to install the drivers through your website (software Bluetooth Ralink driver) although I don't know if it's the right driver and now I can see it in Device Manager, and it says that the device is functioning.

However, bluetooth is always based on hardware and sound, from the icons of notifications etc. When I try to transfer files, it is said that the unit is unplugged.

I tried to fix it via Bluetooth Support Service and settings Bluetooth but nothing...

I also used HP Support Solutions Framework, it is said that network module is not installed (if it's relevant, I don't know).

Help!

Kind regards

Taxi

Hi TaxiaM,

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware that the card wifi on your laptop has been replaced. This clearly explains why the Bluetooth settings are not found on your computer more and disappeared. The original Wifi adapter shipped by HP was a combo card that included the wifi and Bluetooth chips.

It is clear that the light of day now that the Wifi adapter replaced is not a combo one and only autonomous wifi card. If it's a combo like the original card, then you must contact your IT professional for the correct drivers for the card. (for both the wifi and Bluetooth).

Please click the 'Thumbs Up' to appreciate my efforts to help and if it helps, please mark this "accepted Solution".
Thank you and have a fabulous week ahead.
