  Why do you think you have "32-bit and 64-bit" versions of Windows 7 installed?

  If you installed the 64-bit version (which you will need if your computer has more than 4 GB of RAM and you want to use all of this RAM), you can see a few references to 32-bit architecture.  The 64 bit version of Windows needs these files in order to run software that is designed for 32-bit architecture.

  Perhaps the most obvious instance is the presence of the following two directories:

  C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x 86).  It is normal for both of these directories present in a 64-bit system.

  I have a really irritating problem. Windows Update INSISTS on trying to install Windows 10 on my Windows 7 computer, and I would like to know if there is a way to permanently block this problem. I've recently updated, but blocks the installation of Windows 10 was a bit scary. I have no plan to run Windows 7 that Microsoft supports support this behavior of Windows Updatge and it is exasperating.

  Here's what you need to do:

  1. reboot your PC, then go to control panel > programs > programs and features > view installed updates

  2. in the upper right search box, type kb3035583. After that update appears, right-click of the update and uninstall.

  3. Repeat step 2; However, the entry kb2952664 in the search box to uninstall this one.

  4. right after uninstalling the updates, restart your PC. After your PC starts, immediately check updates in Windows Update.

  5 Windows Update find the two updates that you uninstalled. Right click on them, and then select hide update. Provide confirmation if necessary. Restart your PC again.

  Download managers and management upgrading Windows 10 updates are now blocked.

  @BigLarryMan, welcome to the forum.

  Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  You can upgrade the processor, memory, video card and power supply (PSU).

  The processor and memory upgrade of entered information will give a list of compatible updates.

  New video cards require the UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  The last video cards that does not need UEFI are the GTX 660/670.  They are very powerful cards.  Regarding the power supply, I love the Corsair products.  I recommend at least 500W.  A modular power supply is good for a small business, because just use cables that are absolutely necessary.

  To clear the contents of the my recent Documents folder

  To clear the My recent Documents list, follow these steps:

  1.	Click Start , and then click Properties . Or, if the Start menu is already displayed, right-click an area void of the Start menu and then click Properties .
  2.	Click Customize .
  3.	Click the Advanced tab.
  4.	Under recent documents , click clear list , click OK and then click OK . Most recently used documents are removed from the my recent Documents folder. Note that this action does not delete the documents from your hard drive.
