  I use a HP Media Center m7160n desktop computer, and recently the hard drive has been acting weird and continually gives me error e/s during startup. I read a lot of posts and tried many solutions until very recently I finally got another message at startup saying something like this: the hard drive error is iminent. Please back up the hard drive and replace it!

  Well, because the system tells me to replace the hard drive I think I should follow. However, when I removed the side cover of the Office Tower, everything is really effect. HP external USB Bay is in the way when I tried to access the hard drive, so I couldn't get out the hard drive to replace it with a new one. To be honest, I really want to delete all other parts in here without a guide, because I'm not very good with the mounting hardware. Therefore, I have to ask and see if anyone have disassemble your m7160n desktop before and could give me a practical guide so I can replace my hard drive?

  You can use a SATA-III HDD but the 785G chipset only supports SATA-II. You won't see any difference, and the SATA-III is backward compatible. You have a 300W power supply. You can put in a better and with a minimum 500 or 600 watt PSU, you can install any videocard, pcie 16 x which will be in good physical shape. In retail offices, there is simply not as much space as in a custom build Tower and best video cards these days are huge things two locations. Don't forget, it fits with room to spare, or you will have problems of air circulation.

  Which is usually caused by a corrupt BIOS. You can clear the CMOS. Sometimes, but not always, which solves the problem.
