HP Pavilion Notebook 15 p108tx: this billboard is compatible with my p108tx?

My laptop currently has a panel of 1366 x 768, when looking in the Manual of Maintenance , I found this part 762544-001 has been listed (a full HD 1920 x 1080 Panel) and having owned previously only Asus, I went through hell is the panels is not not compatible because of differences in the cable connections.

So I was wondering if it was interchangeable on my p108tx if I just replace the current HD Panel with a full HD, I would need all new connectors? Is it possible on the current motherboard even?

Thanks in advance.

Displays HD and FHD indicate a different cable. Theoretically, you can replace the control panel and cable, but this requires more disassembly. Start on page 32 of the manual. The motherboard is configured to accept a type of cable, so upgrading is possible just to questionable economic sense if you pay for the work.

Cost of parts can be 120 to $150.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook-15-p108tx: problem connecting with specific programs

Hi, I had problems connecting with specific programs recently. I'm still able to communicate online through web browsers. Mozilla Firefox works fine, but Google Chrome still has some problems loading of specific pages or they don't load at all. The main programs I am having difficulties with are mainly games platform programs like Steam, Battle.net, and League of Legends, and I'm unable to go online or to connect to their servers.

I never had no problem connecting like these last two years that I've owned my laptop, until recently. I think it was the 6th or 7th of may these problems started.

I updated my drivers and was constantly check to download the most recent. I don't know if it's my internet provider, but I was also constantly check the State of the network to ensure that the services are very good.

If anyone else has this problem and if there are any suggestions that you think could help solve this problem, it would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jasper

    Hi Jasper,.

Thank you for the update. I think that your computer have a rootkit infection. Most of them were inside of the Chrome Extensions.

Here's what you need to do.

    Open chrome

Click on the Menu bar in the upper right

    Click more tools

    Click Extensions

Please search for suspicious extensions that does not belong to the computer, especially ads. Once you identified, simply click the trash can icon then Chrome close then reopen it again to see if you can connect to your desired game. If this isn't the case, then proceed as follows.

Manual removal of suspicious files (if you are uncomfortable with it. If this is not the case, then run System Restore from safe mode with command prompt)

Manual removal (I miss the old days of MS virus removal )

Go to RUN type %temp% , and then delete all folders by pressing SHIFT + DELETE

Go to Control Panel and then locate all the apps that you think a form of ads

Go to safe mode with network. Run Malwarebytes in that State

Then run Tweaking tool to fix everything that has changed since your computer

    http://www.Tweaking.com/files/setups/Tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio_setup.exe

If your not comfortable with the troubleshooting steps may perform the system restore on the day, it was working fine.

Here are the specifications of your PC (s5623w).

In theory, these processors AMD Socket AM2 + rated 95 watts should work. I would stay away from the 'B' models

  • HP Pavilion 23-1030 23 inches computer desk - compatible with XP?

    Hello

The subject of my post really sums it up.  I realize that XP is very outdated but this PC is for a business project and XP operating system you absolutely must.  I like the configuration of the system and think that this machine would be a good fit for my application.  I understand that I will be responsible to wipe the current operating system and installation of my own licensed version of XP.  My only question for HP is whether this particular PC will work correctly (although severely limited) with XP?  I don't see that it should not.  I won't be able to use the power of full treatment of the CPU and the memory capacity, but that's not necessary for my application.  Please advise, thank you.

    You are the very welcome.

I downloaded this file from the link you posted, and there everything what he but AHCI drivers!

But I know where they are on the AMD Web site...

Download and use a free program like 7-zip to extract them.  First download is what you want.

    http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/raid_windows.aspx#4

The AHCI drivers can be found in the packages folder. It's in the first listed file $_OUTDIR.

The real AHCI drivers are in the Drivers folder > SBdrv > SB7xx

I would be all the contents of the folder packages wake perhaps, so that you get everything in there.

After installing XP, re - download the file above and simply run the exe to install all the drivers for the chipset.

Then, these should be the drivers you need for video, audio, Wi - Fi devices and network:

    Video:

    http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/radeonaiw_xp.aspx

    Audio:

  • This processor is compatible with Satellite L20-SP131

    Hi all

I want to upgrade my computer Satellite processor laptop with model L20-SP131, but the problem is that I can't find the info of the exact cpu that support my laptop.

This is the info I have at the moment:
Chipset: ati radeon xpress 200 m whith intel celeron M 1.6 ghz socket 479 mPGA 90 nm.

I found some information that chipset supports pentium M and pentium 4 cpu but the info was really confusing, and if that's true, I would like to know what tipe of processors on what I can use.

I did my research on ebay and found a lot of pentium M cpu is 1.3 GHz to 2.0 ghz and I want to know if it will be a performance difference if I put a 1.83 ghz pentium M on my laptop or how fast cpu would you recommend me

I would really apreciate your help.
    Diego Staff * az

    Hello

You come in on the right chipset... I discovered that the chipset (North Bridge) should be * ATI RC410MB * and it supports ONLY the Celeron-M platform.

As far as I know the * ATI RC410MD chipset * supports the Intel Pentium M processor (-479 mobile).

Because your motherboard is equipped with the ATI RC410MB, you can only use the CPU Celeron-M

    Hello.

I see from the documentation T620, Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors are supported on this server. When buying different dealers, remember that the processors are the same in each description. It is recommended that you purchase the service of CPU kit which includes as well the thermal paste. Make sure that the BIOS is up-to-date before upgrading the processor.

    Motherboard ASRock website:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

Most of these Intel LGA 1155 Micro ATX motherboards should support PCIe v3.0 with the use of a 3rd generation Intel iCore (i3, i5, i7) CPU. Installation of a 2nd generation Intel iCore CPU will very likely the slot PCIe x 16 back to v2.0. These cards mothers Micro of ATX Intel LGA 1150 will support PCIe v3.0 and will require the use of a 4th generation Intel iCore (i3, i5, i7) CPU.

You can buy a new motherboard and CPU use PCIe v3.0. You can buy a new Windows operating system. You will not be able to continue to use your recovery disks. You will not be able to continue using the software 'value-added' originally shipped with your computer. You may need to purchase other components (power, graphics, memory, etc.) as needed.
