HP Pavilion p6213: HP Active Health Warning

I get a daily warning in administrative activities (win7 HP Pavilion p6213w 64-bit office) Source: HP health Active.

EventData :

COM exception running a command GET Casl EmbeddedController.AuditLog.JSON = [NO SPECIFIC CASL = 0 x 80041002]: Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80041002

I see it all started March 26, 2016.

How to stop?

It's one of the reasons why I uninstalled Assistant support. The problem has appeared on this forum before, but nobody has the answer.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: Software HP errors - HP Active health - event error ID - warning events - 12

I get a bunch of error messages in my Logs of Windows - application pertaining to the recently installed HP Software & drivers for my Photosmart HP 7520. The source is HP health Active. The HP software is fully updated. How can I fix these error messages?

Thanks for the reply Marcelus. I think that the problem is solved. I removed the HP software and made a few corrections to my OS registry. Then reinstalled the HP software without some of the programs extranous. I don't see any errors related to HP for the moment.

It's a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x 64. During installation, I used the Microsoft Automated Installation Kit (AIK) to move my user folder and the ProgramData folder to drive D:\. Apparently, the AIK operation has a few bugs. There are two registry keys that were not updated with the new location of the car and a still show Shell Folders on drive C:\. The affect is that programs created new ProgramData folders on drive C:\ while most have been created on the disk D:\. I uninstalled a few programs that have been affected by the conflict to register and published the registy to be compatible with the users folder and the ProgramData folder on the drive D:\. Everything is going well at the moment.

  • Pavilion 6610f desktop: HP Envy & WARNING: drive hard Imminent failure (please backup and replace immediately!)

Recently, I had 2 different cats with HP Tech Reps in which they used their remote control programs to check on the problems that I had with my new HP Envy 5560 all-in-one. The next day, at the start of my desktop PC, I got the warning message: "" imminent hard drive failure: if it please take a full backup and replace immediately. "" I did a scan from HP and it showed nothing wrong. There are no pop icons - up or whatever it is on my desktop screen to indicate a problem. The hard Seagate I have is only 1 years and 89% free space left on it and there is no problem, other than being slow sometimes, before the cats remote and the PC warning. I came to the forum looking for answers, and the first thing I noticed was a post to say today 09/04/2015 Bent Canuck: "HP Envy Hard Drive Failure" at 06:22. What a coincidence. Think are? Only some 20 hours from the time I myself first 'hard drive Imminent failure warning' and only about 40 hours after the remote programs have been downloaded (twice) and the rep tech, taking control of my computer (twice).

I ran all the diagnostics that my intermediate PC experience tells me to do. I checked in the BIOS and I checked all the HP, troubleshooting, etc. on the Assistant HP program performance. I can find no reason for the hard drive to be failing. I didn't notice it do anything else to be a little slow to start sometimes and slow to load stuff onto the internet, I have assumed it was probably malware and spyware that I must find a way to remove at one point, but I have received no warning about things either. I get the same caveat and I did a full back, but...

Can someone tell me what to do or how to check and see what the problem is until I have to just chuck the drive because of this warning?

Thank you for the additional information.

Did you run the BIOS CHIP to test your hard drive? Also, I don't think that the added hard disk HP software had nothing to do with the message you receive.

  • HP 500-210qe: errors of HP Active health after BIOS upgrade

In October, I made a BIOS upgrade using sp73062.exe to 80.21 A. Since then, I have acquired a series of warnings in the application log:

    1. event ID 3; COM exception running a command GET Casl EmbeddedController.AuditLog.JSON = return value from the BIOS, which indicates a value of command not valid.: one or more arguments are invalid (Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80000003)

    2. event ID 3; Exception COM runs a command EXECUTE Casl Diags.ThermalDiagnostics = return value from the BIOS indicating that a proposed BIOS admin password violates password BIOS. policy: Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80000028

    3. event ID 204; BatteryCheck.exe did not return result of 0.

4 event ID 203; Not supported by the ACEF

At least one and that 14 of the foregoing have occurred daily since the upgrade.

I can't: a) ignore these events, or b) go back to the previous version, or c)?

The solution is to install one version of HP Support Assistant, other than the 8.1.40.3 version (such as downloaded in sp72974.exe) which does not have State errors. So far there are no other version available on the HP download site. For now, I uninstalled the support Assistant.

    Hi @Mariade

From what I understand, you get page errors, probably from the internet. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.

Also, please post the number of the full product for your laptop. Check out the following, if you need assistance with this information.
How can I find my model number or product number?

Assuming I'm wrong in my interpretation, I would recommend that you start by checking your system for malware such as viruses, malicious software and other.

Spyware, Adware and browser hijacking software

Resolve and protect against viruses on your computer (Windows 8)

You are connected with a wired or wireless?

Have you noticed any problems with the connection, if wireless, such as the intensity of the signal?

  • Need all drivers for HP Pavilion G1M18EA 17

Hello, I just bought a new laptop, and I have problems with the search for drivers for it. Laptop came with no cd and a Wi - Fi connection does not work without a driver, just FYI I'm a real beginner in this kind of things.

    Windows 7 64 bit

    HP Pavilion G1M18EA 17

    Best regards.

Here are the specifications of your laptop HP Pavilion e115sm 17. According to the specification, this model left the factory with FreeDOS installed. HP provides only 8.1 Windows drivers on the page of drivers PC laptop HP Pavilion e115sm 17.

    WARNING *.

HP cannot provide the drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.

Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

The screenshots below is from a laptop HP 15 t-j100... options and the configuration on your computer screens may differ.

You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "Configuration of the BIOS start-up secure" on the settings page similar to what is shown below, until you try to install Windows 7.

After you save the changes, the computer will ask you to confirm the changes... Accept the changes by typing the four digit code and press the ENTER"" key.

If you install from a USB key and see a message of "load a driver - a required CD/DVD drive device is missing", it's because as 'System Configuration' > 'Config USB3.0 in pre-start' is set to 'Enabled '. This should be set to 'Auto '.

In addition, as the hard drive is probably partitioned as TPG, you must start using the internal CD/DVD UEFI or UEFI-Key/key USB to install Windows on a GPT-partitioned disk. Turn on or restart the computer and press "F9" or "ESC", then "F9" when prompted. Select the source of boot UEFI you use and you press "ENTER".

I suggest using Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own disc of Windows 7 SP1. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive. Please note that some computers may not recognize a valid active UEFI USB Flash drive if it is formatted in NTFS and may require only a FAT32 formatted USB Flash drive. You should be able to make a FAT32 formatted Windows 7 installation USB Flash drive using Rufus, UNetbootin, Universal USB Installeror WiNToBootic. I like Rufus, because it contains options for 'Plan of GPT partition for UEFI computer' and 'FAT32'.

    From the top...

    (1) turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".

    (2) when the MENU is displayed, press "F10".

    3) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", 'USB 3.0 pré-OS Config' and the value 'Auto '.

    4) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", "Startup Options" and "Secure Boot" the value 'Legacy Support' the value "Enabled" and "Disabled"

    5) press "F10" and click "YES" to "Exit Saving Changes".

    (6) computer should restart and display "Change of operating system startup Mode"... type the four digit code, then press "ENTER".

    (7) let Windows 8 boot-go to top and place the support of Windows 7 SP1 in the drive to DVD or a USB port, then logout / shutdown.

    (8) to turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".

    (9) when the MENU is displayed, press the key "F9" and then select the correct boot UEFI source (CD/DVD drive internal, USB drive, CD/DVD, USB Flash drive, etc.). ... Press any key to start the CD/DVD, if prompted.

    (10) select "Language", "time / currency ' and 'Keyboard' settings and then click"Next ".

    11) click on 'install now '... Check "Accept terms" and click "next". Click on "Custom (Advanced)".

    (12) you may need to provide AMD SATA/RAID drivers at the moment... Download the AMD Chipset Drivers (Chipset / AHCI / USB 3.0)

    (13) follow the instructions and answer all questions as required. Enter a valid Windows 7 when key requested.

    (14) Please install the Windows 7 64-bit drivers following;

    AMD Chipset drivers

Device Manager position "Hardware ID" (text only) for all remaining missing or unknown devices, as shown in the example below.

  • Pavilion P6203w: What exactly is activehealth.exe?

Is someone can you please tell me what activehealth.exe is? all I was able to determine is that"ActiveHealth.exe is known as HP active health and it is developed by Hewlett-Packard . Once I started my system, the disk access light will appear and stay balanced. When I go to the performance monitor, I see that activehealth.exe made a huge amount of e/s. This continues until the PC freezes and requires a reboot. When I run in safe mode, this does not happen. I also noticed that in safe mode, Activehealth.exe does not work. What is that program that could cause the e/s?

    Royearle, welcome to the forum.

The active Health.exe HP monitors your computer to ensure that they are running correctly. I think that the way to solve your problem is to install the latest version of HP Support Assistant here. You choose the version appropriate for your computer.
