  • HP Photosmart 7515 photo printing paper is no good

Fine, I can print a color picture on plain paper.  When I print the same photo on glossy photo paper black clothes all look green.  My print quality diagnostic report shows NO problem.  This happens for two 4 X 6 and 8 1/2 X 11 paper.

HP 7515 has five cartridges.  My problem was solved when I replaced the black Photo cartridge, rather than the Magenta cartridge.  The black Photo cartridge was the original cartridge of the configuration, and the Print quality Diagnostic report showed yesterday that there little ink.  But apparently not enough!

  • Photosmart 8250: 8250 printer does not print

Unable to get the printer menu. How can I solve this problem?

    Hi @Baldy202,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have problems paper jam with your HP Photosmart 8250 printer. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I understand that the rollers move, but you still get the same message. I recommend that you take a flashlight and the printer of the give a look deeper inside, to see you will find an obstruction. This could also be the result of a mechanical failure.

Due to the age of the unit, it seems that we have more access to documents of support for your printer.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.

    • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
    • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Please use these documents as a guideline, they should be relevant:

  • Photosmart 8250 not recognized by my iMAC... How can I get my iMAC to 'see' the printer?

I'm trying to connect my HP Photosmart 8250 printer to my iMAC (under Snow Leopard 10.6.4) via the USB cable. I downloaded and installed the drivers for HP printers on Apple's site, but when I go through the "Print & Fax' tile instead of '+' and then 'add printer' is not in the list of printers as if the iMAC does not see the printer...» Help please.

Thanks for the help... Initially, I tried reseting the printing system, but has not helped.

Ultimately after some trial and error, it seems the HP Photosmart printer is somehow 'paired' / 'connected' with my MacBook Pro. So he can register on my iMAC, you must remove first of the queue on the MBP and then it appears on the iMAC and may be included in the queue on the iMAC... even if it's just through a USB cable.

    Thank you.

  • HP photosmart 8250 test page has color photos and cyan lines

I have a HP photosmart 8250 which had a paper jam, and then I got an error message that says the print carriage was stuck and deserved to be deleted. I set myself with the help of HP printed tips on this Web site. But now, with a test print, it shows cyan streaks a horizonal while all other colors are OK. These horizonal trails in cyan cause photos to be striped. I put in a new cyan cartridge, and it's the same horizontal sreaks in images. Don't know if a manual of instructions for my printer that would be discussed or not.

    Tom

I already reported this, my color cyan in HP Photosmart 8250 printer was streaked in my page series of tests, and the images are out streaked. HP had resolved just before my problem on this part of the aid of their website which began as with a "paper jam" error message, which quickly turned to an error message "unlock the printer cartridge. I followed HP suggestion for this, by opening the plastic top/door on the ink cartridges, then open the next door plastic inside and the movement of the cartridge that has been on the far right, left, as the instructions said and I saw a little piece of paper that I removed with a pen to write with the cap on.  I printed the test page, and then the color cyan was marked. HP said, do not have it in front of me now, but use the print mode 'Best '. And the streaks in the cyan color went. I ordered a new printer, HP, of course, because of the quality and the helpline in part, and it sits in my living room, unboxed, now, because my old printer does not work. HP just helped lined themselves on a sale. I'll send a new back. Thank you for everything.

  • waste on a Photosmart 8250

I have a photosmart 8250 printer that uses an extremely small and expensive cartridges, I need to find a way to minimize waste. HP recommends that, when the printer is not used to turn it off (usually I do that); However, when I print something and the machine turns on itself, she goes to a nozzle cleaning, which waste a lot of ink. What can I do to minimize waste?

    Bayo

    Hello

In fact, the 8250 is amazing for its ability to not waste ink.  I always was a little embarrassed that we don't have the market like crazy, but I'll give you the short version.

What is the system, prevent air to accumulate above nozzles and kill her.  It is spewing a lot of ink.  However, the 8250 he spilled ink on the whole of the inside of the nozzle plate to remove the air, then the ink through the recirculation system.  What you hear, is the pump moving ink autour, not nozzles being drawn.  Thus, your waste of ink is being minimized for you all by preventing konking out nozzles.

Hope it's a no-brainer.  Let me know if something is not make sense for you.

    Best regards, CF

  • HP Photosmart Premium C410b: printing using panoramic photo paper

    Hello

Is anyone able to tell me how to print using A4 panoramic photo size.

    Thank you

    Hi @Silverback2,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are curious how to print on A4 panoramic photo on your HP Photosmart Premium C410b printer paper. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem.

Your printer is not designed to print on that size of paper. If you want to print on the paper, I think that a DesignJet is better suited for these types of photos.

  • Photosmart HP 6520: Printing photos from an iPad for photosmart HP 6520 out of proportion

I have a problem with printing of photos/images from an iPad to the HP, HP 6520 wireless printer.  The photos are printed, the printer paper tray vs full size tray is selected, however the photos are out of proportion and not fully printed.  It seems that there is a type of zoom image enlargement when the pictues are printed, so the full image is not printed on paper.  The printer is correctly displayed on the iPad when you select a print option and the image is displayed as you wish on the preview of the iPad.  I was unable to locate any settings/settings to change it on the iPad setings or on the printer itself.  Is it possible to adjust the parameters, why are the proportions of the images sent to the printer via the iPad not correct?  Another wireless printing from a PC on the same network do not have this problem.  The wireless connection seems fine, the printer receives the image and print it, but not the image desired as the proportions have been increased or changed.

    Hello

What application you are printing from? Apple AirPrint do not print any configuration.

Try the HP ePrint mobile app, which should provide more customization capabilities:

  • HP envy 4520: extension of the HP Envy 4520 jammed paper tray

Extension of the tray jammed paper closed on envy hp 4520, can not print, help!

    Hi @chics,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you use a printer all-in-One HP ENVY 4520 with a 10 Windows PC and the printer paper tray Extender is stuck in the closed position. I would like to help with that.

First perform a reset of the power on the printer.

Then try to make a copy using the control panel of the printer to see if the tray Extender will extend.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
  • Problems with the operation of the Second paper tray - HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

I will be happy to help you with this problem.

The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

Let me know how it goes.

  • HP Photosmart 8250 doesn't print... brand new

Photosmart 8250 - received the Member of the family, and it was never used. Connected easily, but window says ink expired... However, don't give me even a test page. I think that even if the ink dries, it would send the blank page. IE doesn't do no sound try to print etc. Diagnostics DL-says all right... Thank you

Many of HP ink cartridges come with a "best before date" in them and if they are expired they does not print whether or not they are really dry. Looks like you need to replace them.

  • Photosmart 8250: No "print in grayscale" in Snow Leopard

Well, I just realized that my trusty HP Photosmart 8250 I've had for 4 years (still works well... built like a Sherman tank) doesn't have the "print in grayscale" function in the menu settings print after I've updated for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Even after the update for new drivers from HP, Apple and 10.6.1, they still don't come back. It is a huge disappointment, because I've used this feature often enough, especially for only black text documents.

Inkjet printers HP or multifunction currently sold have the "print in grayscale" function under Snow Leopard, or plan to HP on adding this functionality in a future driver? I really didn't want to upgrade, as always, this printer works and has served me so well, but if he goes, it goes.

    Hello MFfan,

I think that grayscale printing is supported with inkjet printers HP and 10.6.  I don't have your exact model, but the feature set is pretty much the same for all HP inkjet printers.

I found the "Print in grayscale" option of the print - dialog box open the triangle so you see the print dialogue box extended.  Select the Type of paper/quality - open the triangle next to the menu of Options of color at the bottom in the center of the print dialog box.    In the "Color" menu, you should be able to choose the shades of gray, chip/sRGB color, etc.

I hope it works for you,
