HP Photosmart 7515 photo printing paper is no good

Fine, I can print a color picture on plain paper.  When I print the same photo on glossy photo paper black clothes all look green.  My print quality diagnostic report shows NO problem.  This happens for two 4 X 6 and 8 1/2 X 11 paper.

HP 7515 has five cartridges.  My problem was solved when I replaced the black Photo cartridge, rather than the Magenta cartridge.  The black Photo cartridge was the original cartridge of the configuration, and the Print quality Diagnostic report showed yesterday that there little ink.  But apparently not enough!

  • HP PSC Photosmart 2410 - Photo printing ok on normal, but not on paper photo paper?

    Hello

Can you help me?  I recently tried to print photos on photo paper (that I have not had problems with before), but the printing result is that colors and therefore the photos are fine for the first third of the photo book but then became pink and blue stripes.  I would have thought it was toner related but print the same photos on normal quality paper and the photo is good.

Before I throw the current toner can anyone comment?

    Thank you

It seems that you are low on the yellow ink.  When printing in ink mode to photo mode is used more quickly and that the cartridge is low it may not able to cope with the demand.  Plain paper using ink at a more leisurely pace and a photo can be printed correctly in plain paper mode.  A new cartridge should solve your problem.

  • Photosmart 5520: Photo printing problem

I've just set up my new printer wireless to my PC and my ipad with no problems.   I just printed photo of

both using HP photo paper supplied with the printer, but the quality is terrible!  The ink is running in all directions and

take ages to dry, the colors are facing eachother, what makes the image completely garbled.  I'm not a fool!, I have

used various brands of printers over the years and found that the installation of ink cartridges is similar regardless of the brand.

I checked then double that they are clicked in place firmly.  I followed all of the implementation procedures.

I'm doing something wrong, or should I just try a different type of photo paper?   Printing simple text on A4 is fine.

    Hi @mum50,

I think you are something! I suspect that the problem is probably related to the book, but it might be better to use the following document to completely solve the problem: the problems of quality Print to the HP Photosmart 5520 e-all-in-one-HP Deskjet Ink Advantage e-all-in-one 5520, Printer series.

Please let me know the results of your efforts. Thank you!

  • HP Photosmart C4640 photo printing problem

Whenever I want to print a picture, it always comes out wrong. Only half or 75% of the photo is printed on the paper. I print almost always 4X6s. I also vertical lines appear in the photo, there is ink on the back of the photo paper. I once before changed both ink cartridges and had the printer align them (came out as normal). I recently updated my OS to Windows 8.1 and uninstalled and reinstalled the printer for this OS. I printed in color and in black and white to see if that makes a difference, and it's not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello Spain710,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

It seems to me that this would help C4640 rollers must be cleaned with the lines on the paper and the missing part of the pictures.

Here is a link to the proposed HP C4700 series printer roller cleaning troubleshooting: Error Message "on paper" and the printer is not Pick Up or paper feed.

I hope this helps and if not, please reply back and I consider this further.

  • Photosmart A716 Photo Printer INK BLURRED, JUST BLOB WET INK ON PICTURES

We used this printer for about a year without this problem, all of a sudden, the photos are versions of just blurry blob of the actual photo. It is possible to do in the photo, but the ink is super humid and fuzzy with a halo in overall effect. they are horrible and useless. We have realigned, clean the ink cartridge, print several different photo even sessions on different cameras and it's the same thing. The problem certainly lies in the printer. It is more under warranty and they help me without charge. Any ideas?

Sounds like a build up of residue of ink and paper on the rolls.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C410b: printing using panoramic photo paper

    Hello

Is anyone able to tell me how to print using A4 panoramic photo size.

    Thank you

    Hi @Silverback2,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are curious how to print on A4 panoramic photo on your HP Photosmart Premium C410b printer paper. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem.

Your printer is not designed to print on that size of paper. If you want to print on the paper, I think that a DesignJet is better suited for these types of photos.

  • Photosmart 7525: photosmart 7525 photo tray - how to get the photo tray to use instead of the main tray

I use a computer from Dell using Windows 8.1 desktop 64-bit.  Printer is HP Photosmart all-in-one 7525.  The software is Microsoft Picture Manager.   I want to print a photo .jpg of MS Picture Manager for paper photo 4 x 6 I have loaded in the photo printer paper tray.  The problem is that printing is still trying to main paper tray in the printer.  Remove all paper from the main tray just causes the print operation to not to say that the main paper tray is in the paper.    If the main tray contains plain paper, the photo printed on this paper.  I have the printer set up to use the photo tray.  I select HP 4 x 6 paper in MS Picture Manager and also set Picture Manager to the highest print quality.  But no mater what I tried, the printer selects tray to main paper rather than the smaller photo paper tray.  The printed image is 4 x 6, but it is printing on paper of the main plate.  What I am doing wrong?

Well - I found that among the pop ups related print had a link 'options' that seems to indicate that it could be me trying to change things which were not suitable for my printer - so I didn't click the link.  So this time I didn't click the link and he showed me up - again - to set the s/w to use the photo tray.  So I did and the photo made print from the photo rather than the main tray tray.  So now I know how to do and don't need to mess with trinkets or all other signs, you've shown me.  Thank you for taking the time to try to help me.  I appreciate your help.  CR

  • Excessive use of ink Photo Printer 7520

I do not print photos but continues to go to the empty ink cartridge.  Why is the printer using ink photo when I'm not print photos?  How to do that just use the regular black ink?

Check the paper type settings - if the paper type is set to Photo or set to automatic and detects the printer erroneously photo printer paper will not use pigmented black ink.  I suggest you choose not automatic and regular paper.

The printer will use little ink in all colors and black to keep the printhead to become blocked.  See here for more information on how the ink is used, the Photosmart 7520 is CII in the terminology of this document...

  • Cannot print from PC to photo photosmart 7515 tray

My printer is a HP Photosmart 7515. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron One all-in-one.

The interface between the computer and the printer works fine, but I can't understand how to print photos from my PC to the photo paper tray. I configured print 5 x 7 paper options (that I have loaded in the photo tray), but the image came out on the tray paper 8.5 x 11.

I googled this problem and found that others have the same problem. Is it possible to do so and if so, how?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with printing photos. Just to be sure, we are located using the photo tray try this:

-Click on the round of departure-> click on devices/Printers

-Find and right click on your printer-> preferences click on printer

-Select the paper / quality-> in the 'paper source select' choose the photo tray

-As a result the size of the paper (the next option down)

Let us know if that helps.

  • Printer HP Photosmart 7515 question

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart 7515 printer and I have a paper copy of 4 x 6 image on the screen and make copies of different size of photo - example: a full page of photos portfolio or 2-5 x 7 format. What are the steps to do this?

    Thank you

    TKH21

TKH, unfortunately on the printer itself is not an option to do what you want (transform a photo portfolio page size 4 x 6). What you can do is to resize an image to a different size (i.e. transform a 4 x 6 in a 8.5 x 11).

If you want to repeat and duplicate the image, you will need to find a software that does this for you and look at the picture on your computer first before you continue.

I hope this information is useful!

  • HP Photosmart, 7515 won't print black

I tried all the recommendations, I could find nothing doesn't.  Head cleaned and followed instructions in the tools of the printer.  I know that many have had this same problem and have found a way to solve the problem.  Any recommendations?

In the paper here troubleshooting steps can help solve the black does not print on your Photosmart 7515.  Be sure to check the vents, as on the three solution.

If the first four solutions do not resolve the problem I would say soak the printhead as described in the post here before considering to replace the print head.

  • Photosmart HP 6520: Printing photos from an iPad for photosmart HP 6520 out of proportion

I have a problem with printing of photos/images from an iPad to the HP, HP 6520 wireless printer.  The photos are printed, the printer paper tray vs full size tray is selected, however the photos are out of proportion and not fully printed.  It seems that there is a type of zoom image enlargement when the pictues are printed, so the full image is not printed on paper.  The printer is correctly displayed on the iPad when you select a print option and the image is displayed as you wish on the preview of the iPad.  I was unable to locate any settings/settings to change it on the iPad setings or on the printer itself.  Is it possible to adjust the parameters, why are the proportions of the images sent to the printer via the iPad not correct?  Another wireless printing from a PC on the same network do not have this problem.  The wireless connection seems fine, the printer receives the image and print it, but not the image desired as the proportions have been increased or changed.

    Hello

What application you are printing from? Apple AirPrint do not print any configuration.

Try the HP ePrint mobile app, which should provide more customization capabilities:
