  There is no hard drive.  Check the front slots for all photo cards that can be inserted, there is no storage of internal photo on this model.

• Photosmart C4400 all-in-one printing problem

  My C4400 faithful is not print properly, don't give me indications of levels of low ink and Solution Center says it is not connected. I have replaced the ink (black) cartridge, but still only get a gray print, lineage. I tried alignment heads and cleaning but no luck. Can someone advise me please?

• Photosmart C4400 don't scan

  I just connected a HP Photosmart C4400 on my mac mini with Mac OS X 10.6.2.

  Printing works fine but when I try to scan I have a message "unknown error."

  I tried reinstalling the software a couple of times without success.

  Is it possible to get this all-in-one to scan?

  Where have you installed the software?  If it's from the CD for the printer, it is for 10.5 and earlier only.  Uninstall in this way:

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update.

  Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

  You do not have the software now since Snow Leopard as well print & scan drivers built-in. scan from Preview apps or Image Capture. Scan from the front panel of the printer does not work yet.

  Try using the brush included in the CD or download.

  Of the Original installation CD:

  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

  3 open the Util folder

  4 open the CCC folder

  5. run the L4uninstall.exe

  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  Go into System Preferences > print & Scan

  I finally solved this problem.

  I was told I had to download this file to update my drivers. Well, I use Chrome primarily as a value by default and initially, he did not.
