  To develop on the post of Andrew, I would uninstall, and then reinstall Windows Media Player.

  Uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player:
  Step 1.
  Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
  1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
  2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
  3. search for multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
  4 restart the computer

  Reinstall Windows Media Player:

  I just bought a Dell Inspiron laptop with windows 7, 64 bit. I have a Photosmart D110 printer, model CN73a I am trying to install on the wireless network. The network involves the printer.  I have download the drivers on the HP site but when I try to open the file it either does not open or I see a small icon of HP, which turns into eternity. I also tried to install the wizard that identifies the computer and download the software, but with similar results.

  Try the steps below as extracted from the software on your computer;

  1. Click on the start menu, and then type %temp%
  2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
  3. Open the Util folder
  4. The CCC folder
  5. Run the L4.bat uninstall_ for computers not HP. For HP computers, run the Uninstall_L3.bat
  6. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
  7. Run clean disc of accessories-system tools
  8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player: Adobe Flash Player
  9. Download the drivers and full software features: software HP Photosmart full feature and drivers
  10. Run the download to reinstall the printer

  If you use Windows 7, here's what you can try.

  You can try this procedure to restore your windows media player.

  (1) Perform SFC first. Follow the link on how to make SFC (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833)

  (2) turn on / off Windows Media Player again.

  a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.

  b. click on the "Turn Windows features on or off".

  c. check the "media features.

  d. restart the computer.

  You can also try restore (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/system-restore) your computer to the final point where windows media player worked.

  Or you can use the previous versions of windows media player that comes from restore points or windows backup.

  Well, it looks like you type everything correctly.  You can try to run the System File Checker and see if that solves all the files.  If not, it is possible that installation packages were corrupt and which is causing the problem.  You will have to perhaps to reinstall Windows and return to a State of the new facility and install from scratch.   For Windows 7, the frivers were already included in Windows, and there is therefore no software to remove.

  In the control panel select devices and sweepers,

  PSC 2410 icon right-click and select remove device, then you should be good to go and install your new printer.
