HP Photsmart 5524 all-in-one: HP Photsmart 5524 all-in-one in an error under Windows 8.1 continually State

I'm at the end of the straps with HP.  Since installing Windows 8.1, I've known printer failures upt o 8 times a day.  Initially, she was dressed by a right combination power and on the printer OR power and the BT or by feeding offshore and on the router and the PrinterRouter, but literally took hours per day doing so.

About 6 weeks, the problem started to do a lot worse with no printing works not at all.

I tried to remove and reinstall the software from the supplied original HP disc.  I'm sure that it worked with Windows 8.0, but will not work not pleased with Windows 8.1.

Sometimes the installation of HP Web becomes work and I am able to print and scan for a short period of time (a few hours if I'm lucky) until he disappears then the network again and I can't access it.  The printer is 18 months old, I have a lot of spare printer cartrodges at great expense, but I can't print.

Peroxide of hydrogen used to produce by far the best printers and I used them exclusively for the past 30 years, but I'm close to the point to buy another printer that will not by a HP printer unless these aging are resolved very quickly.  This is totally unacceptable.  I see the problems have been known since 2013 (probably to the United States), and the same problems persist.

Thanks a lot again.  Yes, I tried wired and my laptop HP Windows 8.1 Wfi connections to the router and a wired connection on the HP printer directly to my laptop (which worked but I need too many connection for notebook computers from network).

I did support BT several times without success, including the use of static IP adresssing but still the same problem,

Re-installing the printer made no difference.

I noticed that the printer HP Photosmart 5524 could see routerIP BT properly address but the router often lost and could not see WiFi devices.  The HP printer does not have a network connection to the router.

I wanted to come to the conclusion that the only possible reason for the problems was likely to be an intermittent fault on BT router.  I finally got the BT call centre to send me a replacement Hub, which I installed it 3 days ago and printing works very well since.

So, it seems that the problem was with BT and not HP.

    I use Firefox as my Internet browser.  However if I use exactly the same link using Internet Explorer 9, I see no Windows 7 driver.  If I use Internet Explorer 9 and change it to compatibility view, I can see all the drivers.  (To do this in IE 9 just click on the little icon that looks like a page torn paper in have - in the address bar to the left of the Refresh - button or go to the Tools Menu and select compatibility view)

    This is the second time I've seen this problem with the site driver of Canon (where I saw a thing and the person I tried to help him was to see something else on the same link).

    Explorer (explorer.exe) is the program that is the start menu and taskbar, windows folder and the office (which is a folder window).

     

    To see if a fix is available

    In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) select reports on the problems and Solutions (problem of type in the START search box), go to historical problem, right-click of your error and choose check for the Solution.

    You can also right-click and choose Details for more information. Post these details here. The name of the Module fault is important information.

    If the problem affects Panel press the Windows key + R and type wercon (or type it at a command prompt).

     

    Close the browser and start a command prompt

    • Close Windows Explorer
    • Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator.
    • Click Start. Ctrl + Shift + Right-click on an empty spot (just above the power of buttons is one place) then Exit Explorer.
    • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete then Task Manager.
    • Control all processes to explore are closed. On the process tab select explore and right-click and choose end process, repeat if more of an Explorer in the list.

    Then to restart the Explorer after trying all of the following

    • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Task Manager
    • In the Task Manager, click the file menu and then click new task (run) and enter explorer
     

    If you cannot start the Explorer at all

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I should be able to provide a solution to your problem.
    Open the start menu and select all programs.
    Then select the Accessories folder.
    Find 'Command Prompt' do a right click on the program and the race is as an administrator.

    sfc/scannow
    This will scan your windows system files to find errors and automatically fix all found. (This analysis may take some time to complete, but let it go completely and finish)
