  • HP ProBook 4530 s Notebook PC: HP Driver Support down?

    Hello:

Yes, I think that there is a problem.  I could go on and outside today.

The good news for you is that your laptop is also listed on the consumer PC Download site, so you can get the drivers and software you need for this link.

  • ProBook G3 450: Impossible to update driver Conexant HD Audio

I tried to update the Conexant HD Audio Driver on my ProBook 450 G3 (Win7 Pro 64 - bit) whenever HP Support Assistant offers the update. The last proposed update was SP74946 (10.0.877.61 Q5). The update seems to be successful and I am prompted to restart. After restarting, the older version of the driver (8.65.133.0) is still installed and HP Support Assistant continues to offer the update. My system is up to date with all of the other horses and Windows Update installed.

    Hello

    You are welcome

This looking a little further, I think I can see what is the problem (I do not work for HP, so you can check this with them).

Anyway, looking at the cva for this update on the link below (under the [General] section) the pilot that version is listed by Conexant as 10.0.877.61, however this is assigned the seller Version 8.65.133.0_9.0.69.53 - 2.109.0.0 which is what you have already installed.

    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp74501-75000/sp74946.CVA

So what I think happens is that HPSA sees 10.0.877.61 as a newer version, but it installs with the seller (HP) Version number 8.65.133.0 driver - and so the cycle continues.

In addition, when you uncompress the SP74946 Installer, the worm text document lists the version of the driver as 8.65.133.0_9.0.69.53 - 2.109.0.0

  • ProBook 4720 s replacement SSD HARD drive

    Hello.

The hard drive in my ProBook s 4720 died recently and I would like to replace it with an SSD. Some computers are known to have a "white list" incorporated in their bios of the materials they will accept. Before I have to buy the new drive, I would like to know if it will work with my computer.

the model I have in mind is:

    Samsung 840 TLC base 120 GB (MZ-7TD120BW)

    Than you for your answers.

It should not be a reason any, that it wouldn't work. I have install third party SATA SSD in HP laptops all the time without any problems.

One caveat with the 4720 s given it is a XP - era system - if you haven't done so already, upgrade to Windows 7. Earlier versions of Windows do not support for SSD TRIM functions, which can lead to the degradation of performance and service life deteriorated as well as potential data security issues when you use SSDS.

  • 4415 proBook s: replacement of the optical drive - need a support and screw

    Hello

I'm replacing an optical drive, reference 535816-001 for a 4415 s HP's Probook. I've lost the support that attaches to the rear of the optical drive, seen in Maintenance and Service of Guide on page 68 (http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c01918897-3.pdf). The HP parts store said that the replacement of optical discs does not understand the support. I also talked with HP Support, and after putting me on hold and check with their supervisor, said that there is no spare part for the optical drive carrier. Does anyone know of a place to buy a replacement media for optical drive 535816-001 part number that would be compatible with a 4415 s HP's Probook?

I also need a Phillips PM2, 5 × 7.0 live which blocks the optical drive to the computer. I saw screw for sale online kits, but was not sure if someone knew a place where I could buy one.

Thank you very much for the help.

Wait, I don't understand it how can you lose this part if you already work on it? And for your parts, you should look on eBay if they have this hardware and screws for your car as well.

  • HP Probook 4520 s installed new hard drive with Windows 7 pro x 64 and drivers - very lag

    Hello

I had my HP Probook 4520 s for 5 years and a few months ago, he started to become very lag, especially when you use the internet, streaming video and games.

I thought I had identified the problem as a bad sector on the hard drive and so I bought a new hard drive and upgraded the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB at the same time.

When I installed the new hard drive, I couldn't burn an image of my old hard drive (it would stop during the process and was unable to do so because of an error). I used my little HP Windows 7 Pro x 64 operating system DVD and your HP Application and Driver Recovery DVD to install the necessary drivers on my replacement new drive.

The RAM and the new hard drive seem to be good, however, it's more lag. I tried to use latancy monitors to see if the drivers are the issue. It seems that there is a huge amount of latancy and my CPU is at an almost constant usuage of 100%.

LatancyMon points in the following drivers: usbport.sys, tcip.sys, acpi.sys, iastor.sys, ndis.sys, dxgkrnl.sys and so on.

I've seen forums where they will guide you step by step how to determine what drivers are causing latancy. This I could do although he always seems to change drivers who are the cause of the problem and there seems to be a lot of pilots of causing this problem it is so difficult to bring out here that one. In addition, there seems to be no solution to these problems. The only one offered is to update the offending drivers. This does not solve the problem with lag and the latancy yet.

    Any ideas?

P.s. I really don't know not what is the underlying issue is here so I don't know if this is the right forum to post in. Drivers may not at all be the issue, I spent the last four weeks trying to solve this problem.

    Hello skinandbones13

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I understand that you have a problem with your laptop. However, since it is a commercial laptop, you should post your question on the map cell of the HP Enterprise Forums for a better answer.

    Have a wonderful day!

  • HP ProBook laptop G2 450: which video driver is correct?

    Hello!

I use HP ProBook 450 laptop G2 with overview of Windows 10 PRO x 64 Insider.

My problem is to determine which video driver is correct, AMD or Intel HD!

Previously on Windows 7 PRO x 64 in household peripheral graphics card is INTEl HD and after the installation of Windows 10 my graphics card in device menager looks like this (see screenshot). When I try to install the INTEL HD graphics driver there is error, this system does not meet minimum requirements...

Update Windows Installer AMD driver by default.

It is possible that Windows 7 read my adapter like INTEL HD and Windows 10 like AMD? What's wrong. Now I have ATI catalyst CC and Utility Intel HD Graphics at the same time.

    Hello:

You install the graphics drivers from Intel and AMD.

You should probably wait until HP W10 custom drivers are available for your laptop on the support page.

If the AMD W8.1 drivers on your PC support page do not work, then there is nothing you can do.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

    ME-SERVO

    He worked on the fix:

Re-installation of operating system was going to be my next step, but you have confirmed it.

After redo the partitions correctly with the free version of Paragon Partition Manager 10.0 and re - install XP DVD provided with resettlement twit drivers DVD provided the problem has been resolved.
    See you soon!

What I think happened was when I have crashed the Win 7 partition using the XP install process it did not correctly configured it.

There is a small free space before the partition on which I have installed and the partition cannot be marked as Active. The MBR boot record must getting screwed up. He also scored this partition as number 5 for example: Partition 5 (do not know if it was the cause of many) but after I erase all partitions and repair installation of MBR disks worked.

Advice to others when go back to Win XP:

When you roll back to XP using a 3rd party Partition Manager (preferably the last one coz old onse do not work)

Erase the entire hard drive including the HP_RECOVERY and HP_TOOLS partitions and create the partitions you need.

I used the free version of Paragon Partition Manager 10.0.

After upgrading the operating system Windows (10.0.14393), Conexant driver failed. No device installed. Also in the Device Manager, Intel High Definition Audio is missing a driver. Cannot find a copy (grouped with another driver... video perhaps).

In any case, fixed the problem of driver Conexant by completely uninstall Conexant Audio ISST and re-install.

    Hello:

Yes, the Intel HD audio device that needs the Intel graphics driver reinstalled.

I propose this option to install the driver, because sometimes simply reinstall the graphics driver Intel does not work.

Download and install this free utility for files.  The file 2nd on the list is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - Zip, download and save, but do not run this driver Intel graphics from the support page of your laptop.

This package provides the Intel video drivers, control panel and display audio driver for the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp75501-76000/sp75984.exe

After you download the file of the graphics driver, right-click on it and select 7 - zip from the list.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and leave it to decompress the file in the file name (sp75984).

When this is done, go to Device Manager and click on the Intel HDMI audio device problem requiring the driver.

    Click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC, and you should be able to get audio and video from the HDMI connection.
