  I am an unlucky recipient of a laptop with Windows Vista. It came preloaded with Vista... no backup disks or manuals, etc. The restore feature was not turned on, so a restore point has not been set. My WMP will not play wmv or any wmp files. I also have problems with my automatic updates in Windows. I have 10 updates that were not successful, but there are probably pages of the attempts of many times where the updates failed. I spent hours and hours trying to fix myself... using all the resources I can find... look like a dummy, I'm sure, but if I had the software I probably would have deleted from my hard drive and more. It would certainly have saved me MONTHS of frustration. Trend Micro and real human support downloaded the plus version of their software for me and recent, plus a few extras to eradicate certain other pests. To get a human being to help you at MicroSoft? It will be $60, please... Sorry, if I look a little tired, but you guys are supposed to be the best and I feel fuzzy. I have been in sales for a long time. long time AND sold the BEST AMERICAN made cars... CADILLACS, but you know if I take care of my clients after the sale... they would have felt like I do, today... disappointed. If every time they came into the dealership I have loaded the $$ to take care of them, they don't come back to me when the NEW models came out... I made sure they got their cars back washed... and they sent their friends to buy from me. And ILS never thought to buy from anyone else, actually when I left the company, I had a nice little legacy of clients in order to let my protégé.

  When a string of characters, I'm interested, is buried in an e-mail, I would find these emails. It seems that as the code needed to find an email is already in place, it would take very little effort/code/support added to extend the search capabilities of more effectively, as it is available in spreadsheets.

  This particular forum has these capabilities, suggesting that users find useful installation.

  FiltaQuilla both Expression search/GmailUI provide functionality, specifically the regular expressions.

  FiltaQuilla aims to improve the message filters and has a useful side effect in improving the CTRL + SHIFT + f find. Research of expression increases the QuickFilter bar. Or rather weird global research assistance, but I work around this by using a Saved Search folder, where you use a dialog similar to the message filters and can make use of the enhancements offered by one of these modules.

  It's normal when you are in mode split with Code and design, while the external use referenced images. There is no setting to fix it.

  As a work around, I normally keep a copy local images in a file of site when working on an html email, then just before the code for the e-mail service hovers over, I'll do a quick search & replace to add the absolute paths for images server copies.

  Live View mode should show images correctly, but editing is not possible in DWCS6 although later versions now have an editor in Live mode.

  Bill supposed to first Pro CC (not CS6) response. Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version does not support OpenCL for accelerating GPU of MPE. Therefore, there is no "opencl_supported_cards.txt" file in the folder of Premiere Pro, and the code to OpenCL is disabled permanently in all versions of Windows from Premiere Pro CS6. So, for your over-pants M6100 Premiere Pro CS6 will be permanently locked to only software MPE mode. (Acceleration GPU of MSES in the Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version is limited to the CUDA only, which means that only NVIDIA for GPU - no AMD over-pants or GPU Radeon support CUDA at all.)

  I intend to pass our mailserver's current installation of Windows Server 2003 running on native hardware in a Windows Server 2008 running in a virtual machine on ESXi.

  This is the same machine as we will reuse so I would prefer to be able to create the virtual machine on a different computer and test it before wiping Windows and install ESXi. Are there problems with the creation of the virtual machine in VMware Server and then migrate to ESXi using VMware Converter? I won't if the result is not a 'perfect' virtual machine that performs as well as if it had been created on ESXi from the beginning.

  All our other VMs were created on ESXi from the beginning.

  If you are not sure, you can load VMware Server 2 and then install ESXi in it and test your configuration.  Do all this from your desktop (as it is decent).  You can also do in my computer.  A quick google search should give you all the information you need to get something like this configuration.

  As VMware Server end of support announced ( http://www.vmware.com/support/policies/lifecycle/general/index.html) I was looking at transition to VMware Server 2 of VMware WorkStation. I have a Red Hat Linux host machine that has a VMware Server running on it with a single virtual machine. I was hoping to find out what are the problems might face to make the transition from one environment to another.

  I am aware that the server and the workstation cannot co exist on the same system, so basically I need to uninstall the server and install the work station. I am also aware that virtual machines are generally compatible between the two products. I also read on the comparison between products. ( http://vmfaq.com/entry/5/ )

  Are there other traps?

  You can download the VIX API (it contains the text console vmrun command - he didn't need a desktop case to run) from here.

  If you install the VIX API in a remote machine (not here where the workstation it is installed), you will be able to administer the computer zone in a passing distance.

  Of course, you can do the same thing on the workstation itself locally, using vmrun/vix it is included with workstation.

  You describe Activation Lock, which prevents the unauthorized use of the iPhone if it is lost or stolen.

  This can be disabled either by:

  • The former owner, grabbing their Apple ID and password of the device.
  • The previous owner, removing the iPhone in their list of devices to locate my iPhone via iCloud.com.

  In both cases, be sure to follow the instructions in the first article below.

  If you can not organize or either of these actions, then you will not be able to use the iPhone. There is no way around this security feature.

  The Mail app suddenly quit and when I tried to resume, I got this message

  If you do a Get Info (command - I) on Mail and Maps applications, what version numbers do you see?

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  Unfortunately, it does seem that the divers from 32-bit (no matter if it s Vista or XP) are available on the European driver Toshiba page.
  It seems that the Vista 64 bit drivers are not supported at this time.
