I have a HP5610 all-in-one officejet via USB connected to my computer windows 10 laptop. Printing and digitization of works excellent.

I can send faxes manually from the HP 5610 machine, which means I have to print documents on paper and that put the document in the HP fax machine.

Is there a utility that I can use to fax documents directly from my PC using the machine HP 5610 fax modem?

I found a Microsoft "Windows Microsoft Fax Scan" utility. This tool needs a separate fax modem. I can't find a way to specify this tool in use moden fax unit HP 5610.

Anyone have a solution for me?

    Henk

    Hey @HD-Heemskerk,.

I see you are trying to fax from your PC in 10 Windows with printer all-in-one Officejet 5610. I can help you with that.

You should be able to fax if you download and install the latest drivers. You can find the drivers by clicking on this link.

When you want to fax you must start by opening to the top of the print window, as if you were going to print. When you do, you should see a printer or a file to print with the printer name and (Fax) at the end. If you select that and try to print, you should see your fax options appears.

Please let me know if this allows you to fax. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • HP5610 AIO Win7 install but does not work

HP5610 SDGOB number-OfficeJet AIO - 0505 - I downloaded the Software Installation HP5610 Win 7 and run the install file.  Installation worked fine and the printer was recognized when the usb cable is connected.  However the HP5610 does not work with the software in any mode.  When you try to print, it prints partially and then stops and the Panel of the printer just flashes and indicates the ERROR.  I believe the software think that it is a Photosmart printer, but it's not. The printer does not print PhotoSmart cartridges... only the standard color cartridges.  When I look at devices and printers, the HP5610 is identified as a PhotoSmart printer.  Note that this printer works fine with another computer running XP.  I installed the installer twice, both with the same results.  I love this AIO - I need it to be running on my two computers of Win 7.  Anyone have an suggestions?  I have no idea what to do next.  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply.   Well, I have two computers here.   I have an old Pentium 4 that I upgraded to XP and now on Win 7.  I know that I have some problems with it's hardware compatibility...  I installed the HP5610 three times and he moved smoothly, but the printer keeps hanging up or gives error messages.  I uninstalled the HP5610 installation twice and installed three times, always with the guarantee off (Avast).   The second computer is a relatively new I-3 with Win7.  Absolutely no problem with the installation of HP5610 I-3 and the printer works perfectly.  I think is no longer the driver HP does not work - I know not that this is computer hardware/Win 7 on the Pentium problems.  I have another HP printer (1010) in collaboration with the Pentium and a scanner EPSON also work with it.  I'll use the HP5610 on the I-3.  Guess it's time to replace the old Pentium...   Here, I have 4 HP printers...  HP puts the large printers that last a long time.   Thank you.

  • HP5610 printer does not print black no content

    Hi all

I have a really strange problem with my HP5610.

He started last week - if I printed a document with multiple pages, the first page would be of standard quality, but by the last pages, the black text would be disappeared until this that practically illegible.  If I left the printer for a few hours, I was able to print another page, but even once, it would get progressively lighter.

Although it's a new cartridge that was barely used, I changed it-assuming it was defective.

Since then, I put in a replacement cartridge and I have the same trouble.  The text is very feint, so clearly not not using black ink at all.  Seeing that it is already a new cartridge, I tried a test page, alignment of the printer (the alignment page has just blue on it!), the cartridges of cleaning (using the set towards the top/menu help).  I cleaned the contacts inside the printer and the cartridge with distilled water.  I have it cut to the grid and still no joy.

There ink from cartridge if I wipe it with a paper filter, so I don't think it's a problem with another cartridge... but can we else recommend what to do?

I even let the cartridge upside down for 2 hours outside the printer in case it was a problem of sediment in the cartridge, but that did not work!

    Thanks in advance

    Desperate:!

    Hello Helenavm,

Looks like it is your printhead or the tube in the printer at this stage, given that you have gone through all the troubleshooting steps. The 5610 doesn't have a removable print head so it can not be cleaned outside the utility provided with the printer.

You can try to launch the application cleaning several times as a cleanup can't do. If after this the printer still does not print the likely product of must then be repaired.

You can use this warranty Checker to see if your printer is still under warranty.

If not, you can see what out-of-warranty options, you need to get out of here

  • hp5610: unable to print from the internet regardless of search engine

I'm unable to print from the internet regardless of internet search engine. I ran the impression scanning hp doctor who shows no match port, I don't know what that means. What I've tried is; power off printer, internet modem and usb ports restarted, changed, cable and ethernet cable. This problem has been resolved before by switching engines, this has no effect now. Help

    Mikev

Welcome to the community of HP @mikiev,

I read your current and previous posts about how you can't print from the internet, and I wanted to answer you with my suggestions. I understand that you have tried to use different however search engines, try to return to my colleague's response @RnRMusicMan on the link below and try to use another web browser altogether. Again, if you use Google Chrome, try Firefox or Internet Explorer.

If Chrome and Firefox will not print, try printing from NotePad, which is a program that is preinstalled on your system to see if the draws work from there.

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome or Firefox, whatever one you use often, to see if that helps the printing problem.

Let me know what is happening and we can go from there!

    Good luck

  • Using an Android tablet with HP5610

I would like to print photos and docs from a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (Android) on a HP OfficeJet 5610 or a HP Photosmart 7760.  None of them are network printers, but have a USB port.  Would not support wireless technology.

The Galaxy also has a USB port.  Printing can be done through that connection?  Should what app I use?

    Hello

Unfortunately no, you can't. The Tablet uses apps to print and that it is a mobile device it print wirelessly. Hope one day, according to the market, publishers may develop something later.

    Kind regards.

  • Problems to print to the shared printer on Windows XP (32-bit) Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Windows XP computer that shared a HP5610 usb with a laptop another XP connected printer.  I replaced the laptop with a new Windows 7 laptop and can not see the XP machine or printer.  I have enabled IPV6 on the XP machine, turned off the firewall and can appear not to understand the question.

I am able to ping the Windows 7 from the XP machine, but cannot ping the XP of the PC Windows 7 machine.  If I try to ping command on the name of the XP machine it will change the correct IP in the translation, but then it gets all the answers and expires.  I enabled ICMP, so I should get a response.

Suggestions how to put this PC and printer available to a Windows 7 PC?

I tried a couple of patches like this

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/318030

    THX

In general, there is no need to activate ipV6 on a XP machine.  I would like to uninstall it.

A week ago I updated my Mac Mini end of 2014 to Sierra and, among other drawbacks, I found that the "to comments of this Mac window" doesn´t show when it is called. In addition, the button of the substitution of Apple ban on which they consider unreliable applications (i. e.  those not manufactured by Apple or not using the iTunes channel) is now gone and I won't unintentionally control I have in my computer. In this case, this means that I can't update latest version of Penny Fletcher of his useful Multimarkdown application.

  • I resized the Partition Mac to make more space for BootCamp and now Windows will not boot

On a collague MacBook Air running 10.11.4, we used disk utility to reduce the Mac Partition so that we could then use a Windows tool to extend the BootCamp partition. However, upon restart, we got a BACK screen with the error that Windows cannot start because it cannot find the boot device.

    Help, please?

This is not a mechanism supported by Apple to change the size of the Windows partition. Apple supports the remove/reinstall only.

We try to remedy. Please after the release of the following OSX Terminal commands.

    diskutil list

    Cs diskutil list

    sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0
