  Hello Dissed.thanks forever you answer. Ive been thru all the procedures you mentioned before that I came here to find solutions. As I said b4, all perfectly healthy... I have my own wifi here in my house and I connected my iPhone so it's automatically activated when I'm home. And in the décor, free Wi - Fi is always on... abt join network too. So, if I am outside, wifi notifications automatically showed where are wifi network connections. Dissed I am very grateful for spend me your time and tried to help me.   I see that you encounter some problems with the connection of your series M277 Laserjet Printer to your wireless network. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:
  Turn the printer off.

  While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.

  When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.

  After the above, you should be able to connect the printer to your wireless network. If you can't, please let me know what happens when you try to connect to the network now. If you are able to connect, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  I use several wireless receivers.  A PCI card and 3 Wireless USB devices.  Just bought a brand new Netgear N300 yesterday.  The modem is a type of Belkin N.  I can connect on a laptop that is about 3 years old, but not on my desktop.  I think there is something in Services.msc that blocks the WiFi because I have disabled or placed in many manual settings which were not necessary for optimal performance.  I have the usual stuff to automatic configuration wireless, CPP, etc..  I was wondering if there is anything that might be the problem.

  Just diagnosed with the Netgear software and the Ipconfig command.  They both say "Media disconnected" again the USB Wifi adapter is plugged in and sees the router.  Anyone know what "Media disconnected" means?

  Your conclusion that it is not the router because everyone can connect is not necessarily correct.  You could still have an incorrect wifi encryption configuration - or this router is completely secure (not need a password to connect)?  What level does the router encryption have established?

  Assuming that you are really sure that you have the correct password (or it is not a), I suppose it is possible that in tweaking things you disabled some (I can't think) service that is required.  Take a look at the site of the Black Viper (link in the previous answer) and compare your list of the services disabled to set up "Safe."  Check the descriptions of all the services that you have disabled which helped Black Viper in its 'Safe' configuration

  You can also take a look at the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK) and see if there are clues here.

  "Media disconnected" for a wireless network adapter that shows the router in the list of available wireless networks almost always means an authentication problem... and almost always he turns an incorrect encryption password.

    -is the SSID (network name) of the router listed under "preferred networks"?
    -If the SSID of the router is listed, it is a unique name, or is it a default value (for example, "Linksys")?
    -If the SSID is listed, a common method of "starting over" is to «remove "the entry;» OK your way your computer; and then try to connect to the network; all information configuration 'wrong' that has been repeatedly used will have been removed
    -Select the SSID of your router and click on "Properties".

    In the tab "Association":
    -What's in the box "network authentication"?
    -What is in the box of "encryption"?
    -is "the key is provided for me automatically" verified or unverified?

    Under the tab "authentication."
    -is the "Enable IEEE 802. 1 x authentication for this network"checked or unchecked?

  Thank you for your response. But after posting this question here, I found the video in you is a tube that solves the problem. I just reinstalling the driver wifi intel, after that my problem solved automatically.

  You have to call Comcast and ask another router.  This model is known to have many questions.

  If you take a look at the job for the router (click here), you can see that it supports up to Windows 7.  This means that all users on Windows 8 will have an update of the firmware (even if you have Windows 7, I wanted to report it).  ARRIS published an update that solves a number of problems with this router - but it will not work on the version you get from Comcast.  This means that Comcast will have to release their own update to solve problems.  You can see on this site on the site of Comcast that this router is known to have problems.

  You can see similar problems in this article and this thread.

  Contact Comcast immediately and ask for a new router.

  Hello. Using a 2012 MacBook Pro runs El Capitan 10.11.4 and unable to connect to Wi Fi home exclusively. We had to Time Warner to get out. They gave us a new modem/router and update the connections/splitter in the basement. All our devices but my laptop can connect to the network. Our iPhones, light fires and Mac Book of wife anything can connect. The mine detects the network but cannot connect. However, I can connect my computer to other networks through my Verizon Wireless hot spot and even a 4 G LTE Kajeet hotspot unit I borrowed from the library. Any ideas what could be going wrong? I ran Wireless Diagnostics and nothing turns upward. The most frustrating part id my computer "thinks" it is online, because the Wifi symbol is obscured. But I'm not connected.

  These days I was unable to connect to Skype when on any wifi. As soon as I turn off wifi and use my cell network signed in full. I have a 6 s iPhone running the latest iOS and versions of Skype. Anyone else having this problem? I tried to reinstall the software with no luck.

  Never mind... 3 attepnts later took an uninstall, force the restart of the iPhone and reinstall to get it working again.
