HPSLPSVC64.dll

I get an occasional "Host process for Windows Services has stopped working"

Log error events points to:

SVChost.exe_HPSLPSVC
Version 6.0.6001.18000
Defective module
HPSLPSVC64.dll
Version 100.0.170.0

Is there a way to get a new copy of the HPSLPSVC64.dll?

I am reluctant to re - install the whole driver package since it is not a show-stopper.

I have the original installation disc.

Thank you

Frank C

Hi FrankGC,

I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  Please see the steps below that can solve the problem.  You may also need to register the dll if you are prompted.  I can provide additional measures so that if necessary.  For more information about the product or any other product HP click here.

1 insert the disc, go to the hard disk (right-click Explore)

2. click on the installation folder

3. click on the contents of the Network64 folder

4. click on the folder titled Network64.cab ACR

5. search for the DLL, HPSLPSVC64

6. right click on the file, select copy

7. go to the computer, double-click drive C (c :))

8. click on the program file (X 86 64-bit if)

9. click on the folder called HP

10. click on the content of the digital imaging

11. click on the contents of the bin folder

12. click on file, then paste the dll copied to this folder

13. the files must be renamed.  Remove extra characters from the end of the new dll, the file name should be limited to the dll extension (HPSLPSVC64.dll).  Rename the previous/old dll (HPSLPSVC64.dll.old).

I hope this helps!

  • iTunes v12.5 crash with webkit.dll on launch

I had a Windows 7 PC that I currently v12.4 iTunes running without any problem. During the upgrade to iTunes v12.5 crashes instantly to launch registration module webkit.dll as cause. I had this problem several times with older versions of iTunes and incompatibility with Intel integrated video card drivers. Force the system to use an outboard video piece of card and things very well. On this system of rear bearing to v12.4 iTunes everything worked perfectly. A new installation of iTunes v12.5 even after removal of all Apple related files and registry entries and iTunes v12.5 blocks exactly the same way.

Apple has an obvious bug in v12.5 that needs to be crushed. As it doesn't seem to be a bug submission system mere mortals who have access, I can only hope someone from Apple sees this (I'm not holding my breath) and puts it in their system. FYI, Apple, I really want to buy a new iPad Pro 12.9 ". But until there is a version of iTunes that runs on my PC AND supports iOS10, I can't get back my money. AKA, there is a financial loss to the company for bugs not crushed.

    Thank you!

I have this problem and have tried the recommended fixes I could find. I uninstalled everything apple, deleted and any preferences directory Apple that I can find, rebooted, itunes installed as an administrator (or not) and it still don't work when you try to connect to the store. I have Visual Studio is installed on my machine, when it asks "Debug"?, I say yes, and I get a message like "Exception thrown in 0x00007FFC71F25E36 (WebKit.dll) in iTunes.exe: 0xC0000005: location 0 read access violation x 0000000000000000'."  It would be nice to solve this problem.

  • WARNING plugin does not, Mozglue.dll fails

Anytime I go to a site that needs flash player Firefox blocks. I get warnings constant plugin does not respond and the only way out Firefox ends the task in the Task Manager. So far I have made the following Firefox, updated a couple of times, did a clean install, twice, hardware acceleration disabled in Firefox, true, unchecked in Flash player, Webgl.disabled changed to hardware acceleration checked my graphics driver is up to date. Firefox is version 42.0, Adobe Flash Player is version 20.0.0.235. I've included the error message I get under it leading to the Mozglue.dll as the culprit. I hope that this can be corrected. Thanks for your thoughts.

    Download Firefox for all systems and languages {web link}
    Save the file. Then;

Using your file browser, open the Programs folder on your computer.

    Windows: C:\Program Files
    C:\Program Files (x 86)
    Mac: Open the folder "Applications".
    Linux: See your user manual.

Find and rename files Mozilla or Firefox by adding .old to them.

After restarting the computer, use a registry scanner. Then, run the Setup program.
If all goes well, remove the OLD files when you are finished.

If the problem has been fixed. For all those who might happen to fall on this post:

Firefox crash is caused by a problem of compatibility between Anti-Exploit Malwarebytes and Kaspersky Anti-virus. This problem has been resolved already my Malwarebytes sometime there are, but a recent update of Kaspersky AV brought. Can be solved by installing the latest beta version of Malwarebytes (1.08).

  • How to fix the error, "the procedure entry point PK11_PubDerive could not be found in the dynamic link library nss3.dll

I use windows 7 and Firefox 39.0. Recently, when I open Firefox it gives this error, 'the entrance of procedure point PK11_PubDerive could not be located in the dynamic link library nss3.dll'. • Automatic product update always XUL files. DLL deleted by Norton AV, resulting in death Ffox, the only solution is to use IE to reinstall Norton OK with XUL from Mozilla. DLL here

Each time Firefox auto-updated runs Norton360 detects a virus in the file update xul.dll (virus is identified as: Suspicious.Cloud.9.B a heuristic virus) and removes the file "Mozilla firefox/getting updated. When Firefox tries to restart it inevitably crashes. I then load another browser to download Firefox on the Mozilla site. This version (supposed to be identical to the version used by auto-update) install without complaining of Norton360 (Note: Firefox keeps its previous settings OK).
    1. is there a difference between the two versions of xul.dll?
    2 xul.dll file contains a virus?
    and
    3. How can I get an auto-update to work the first time?

I have lived this error condition for several recent updates of FireFox (38.0.5 Funnelcake June 2015 Mozilla 1.0 - 39). My security system is provided by Comcast Norton Security Suite ver 22.5.2.15, on a Win XP installation. Now when we announce an automatic update of FireFox, I avoid this error by 1) disabling NSS Auto Protect, 2) installation of the latest update of FireFox 3.) Re-activation NSS Auto Protect. There is no warning message and the update FireFox works unremarkably.

My computer crashed. After restarting, I attempted to open Thunderbird and received a Thunderbird.exe - bad picture message. It indicates that mozglue.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Should I try to reinstall Thunderbird? Which will result in the loss of my emails?

Yes reinstall. Your accident obviously corrupted the file in question. As mail and the program are separate relocation does not affect him.

Whenever I have launch Mozilla firefox I get a missing d3dx9.dll error please reinstall and try again once I did it like 4 times its still does not, all this happened when I installed a new windows again and I wanted to install mozilla please someone help because this is my fav browser.
This is where I downloaded from: http://www.filesmag.com/2014/12/mozilla-firefox-web-browser-free.html

This DLL is part of graphic subsystem of Windows. After you have reinstalled Windows, have you run Windows Update to get the fixes for Windows 7, or at least Service Pack 1 million? It is possible you need to do that first before Firefox works normally.

During this time, it is possible that Firefox will run in secure Mode, since in this mode Firefox does use all the features of graphics on your system. To start Firefox in Safe Mode, try the SHIFT key when starting Firefox now.

A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).
