HPWarrantyChecker

My firewall asked if HPWarrantyChecker is a valid application.  the logo doesn't look right. (?)

Hello

You can check your warranty here or here.

If you use the control function of auto warranty HP then review this post.  You must accept the installation of the ActiveX add-on or you will encounter problems.

I tried chkdsk, ccleaner, and a variety of other methods to solve the problem without success. Please me hlpe or at least inform as to what amy caused this anomaly. Maybe update the latest version of windows?

Brand and model as the operating system of the computer required.

All your Windows updates all installed and updated.

I assume you found a BSOD because of this and at what time.

You say you have CCleaner, did you run the registry cleaner from him?

From an elevated command prompt, run sfc/scannow , it will take a while.

  • warning won't go away

I have a computer 10-10z-e000-CTO Notebook Pavilion Touchsmart is out of warranty.  I don't want to renew the warranty, but the warranty status warning won't go away.  I can not even choose to withdraw because the warning does not work properly.  Finally, I get a warning that it doesn't work and I can close it.  BUT he returned each time.  Can you help me?

Check your startup task. In windows 7, I think, that he is still in msconfig.exe, but it was moved to the Task Manager in windows 8. In windows 8 when you open the Task Manager you will see a Startup tab, look for any program of HP in there. It can be stupidly obviouse as hpwarrantycheck.exe. Then turn it off.
