  HI gentlemen,
  
  Given an XML instance and a style sheet (the relevant passages are here). It should look like the following:
  
  Column 1: General interest, OK
  Column 2: Two entrances, placed in the first and fifth row in the cell, not OK
  Column 3: Two entrances, placed in the first and fifth row in the cell, not OK
  Column 4: Four + three entries, each in a different line, OK
  
  IE7 made instead, place the entries in column 2 in the line 4 and 5. It's confusing, because there is a hierarchical relationship between the columns (2, 3) and column 4.
  
  Can someone help me by looking at the two programs? It should be simple enough, however, I can't find info how to format.

  IE7 made instead, place the entries in column 2 in the line 4 and 5. It's confusing, because there is a hierarchical relationship between the columns (2, 3) and column 4.

  It is not related to IE in particular.
  By summing the values of brother independently, relationship with parents is lost, so you can't wait for 'magic' the poster correctly HTML rendering engine.

  A solution would be to display each value in a separate cell (TD element), but it's a little tricky.

  Have you also considered using an unordered list (UL/LI Elementshtml)?
  It would be much easier to make the hierarchical structure of data.

  When I design with Muse and export in HTML, Dreamweaver is not attached style sheets when I open files with Dreamweaver. Basically when I draw with Muse files do the same with Dreamweaver. Is this a bug? Workaround solutions?

  Then you will need to install a local server and use live view.  It is not that DW is not making it or is not endearing, it's this Muse has decided to use the treatment side server to include who is authorized to practice CMS when you combine the style sheets for better caching, but it is not really ideal for a single style sheet.  It is a shortcoming of the Muse and one of the reasons why many professionals will return the product at present.  That and you can't actually buy Muse, so unless you are on a subscription you haven't.  It seeks to fill a void for those who do not want to invest in professional design like Fireworks, Photoshop or Dreamweaver tools, but want a cross between them to make drawings.  If you have invested in the right subscription and want a better way to make models I highly recommend this coding yourself and using Fireworks or Photoshop to make the layout for you.  There is an excellent tutorial on the devnet (3 pieces) to show you how its done ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dw_fw_css_pt1.html ).  Once you start using Fireworks or Photoshop, you'll realize how limited Muse is in the design.

• Report incorrect style sheet

  I imported several pages html as subjects in my project in Robohelp HTML 6 from another project. They brought with them the stylesheet which they had initially used. Using the properties/appearance, I've changed the style of the original sheet (let's call it OldProject.css) to that used for the rest of the project (let's call it NewProject.css). The changes of style used, but they should have been, and by looking at the HTML code, I see NewProject.css and not OldProject.css. But when I opened the Tools menu in the main window of RoboHelp and select reports/Style Sheets, it shows OldProject.css with the items imported under him. I deleted OldProject.css from the directory of the project, and it seems always, but with an 'X' indicating, I suppose, missing. I get no error when compiling, and everything seems ok. It's just that style sheet report persists in showing the former and now unused stylesheets for imported subjects, and OldProject.css always displays in the project manager.
  
  This behavior persists after that I finished and restart RoboHelp HTML.
  
  I wanted to use the report to see if I had missed everything when you change the style sheets, but it is not useful because it insists on the fact that I missed all.

  Try this.

  Generate a CHM output even if it is not the one you normally use. Just use the default settings. Who updates the HHP file.

  Delete the CPD and XPJ files and open the project using the file HHP to see if this corrects the database, which can be the cause of this problem. Make a copy of the project and see if it corrects the problem.

  If Yes, then read the topic on my site on the opening of projects to do the things that need to be checked.

• Simultaneous report runs very slowly when the output format is 'XML' on IBM 6.1

  We have recently updated one of our test server database IBM AIX 5.3 to 6.1 operating system. We are witnessing a strange question in the execution time-out of simultaneous reports that have output in XML format (no server of publication and the Publisher). Whenever the output format is set to XML, the execution time seem to have increased very high than it used to be less than 5.3. A report to take 10 seconds which takes about 4 minutes to complete which is huge in comparison. Information about the version as below

  Oracle EBS 11.5.10

  Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 DB

  IBM AIX 6.1 OPERATING SYSTEM

  Oracle reports 6.0.8.28.0 (I know old enough)

  We have solved the problem. I would like to share for the benefit of the readers of the community, if they are facing similar problems.

  The reason for the slowness of the report was due to lack of installation of the 'VIEW' option that is used when XML reports. Reports whose outputs are in format PDF, XML, HTML etc, Post Script, they all need a virtual display makes setup and configuration properties of config pointing to this server whenever settings are do. It could be a windows machine with X-Server running on it for display purposes or it could be services that are running on the same server for Unix/Linux applications where the application runs. We have installed VNC as X-Server that hosts services for virual (X) output for display on UNIX itself and have configured it in the reports configuration file. It seems to have solved the problem and the reports are run as expected (must faster!)

Report generation works fine on my system of development however when the sequence is deployed on machine runtime the report XML header is missing the stylesheet location. That is to say:

  I found the problem. I determine the location of the style sheet by using a registry key. The registry key listed double slashes which resulted in the style sheet is not found. For example. C:\\Test\\T6MK6_PAS_Test_Sheet.xsl. With a single slash, the program worked as except.

  Well, mine is about 4 000 lines of code to cover all of the tables in my database, so I have a separate procedure in the package for each table.

  I'm going by calling a procedure doc_start that comes to generate the HTML page header, as follows:

  All basically, it's pretty simple, although a lot of time. The initial package of writing took me a whole day to write, and then I had to go back several times over the years to add some adjustments or other re-formatting.

  I am a new user to RoboHelp 7 and must say that I find useful but also painful to use. I'm trying to solve something that looks like a bug in RoboHelp 7, but before I give in and accept defeat, I wanted to check with the forum.
  
  I of FrameMaker 8 and import the files to HR where I use them to create WebHelp projects.
  
  This is an accelerated procedure:
  1. I import my files with a stylesheet predefined matching styles of FM.
  
  2. I have also check the option convert to HTML list and the bullet and numbering styles the value defined by the user.
  -After importing RH did the usual thing and creates a bunch of stylesheets in itself
  
  3. I select all files in the pod of the list of subjects and apply a new style sheet custom. This allows me to have a style sheet for all HTML files with the correct layout and formatting
  
  4. I have generate the output and HR uses the new style sheet reference
  HTML shows files that the output is not the same as the HTML generated, shown in the mode of the editor HTML HR
  
  -View Editor: < class li = 'style' >
  -Display: < li >
  
  6. If I make a change (for example, add a space) and save the HTML file and build the project again the HTML code is correct in the browser
  
  It could be argued that it is not a big problem; However, with a large project that begins to look more like a nightmare ;)

  I hope that my company will see your 'solution' as an argument to upgrade licenses FM and FM 9 and 8 HR HR. Would be so nice if Adobe would let us by licenses cheaper that we bought just FM 8 and RH 7 2 months ago. 7 HR isn't really worth the money spent to date in my mind.

• teststand 3.5 xml style sheets

  back in 2008, I ran a few tests using 3.5 TestStand and LabVIEW 7.1

  I am now under TestStand 4.2.1; but the need to revisit an old report

  When I try to open the xml report - I get an error:

  "Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Fix the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later."

  I think that the style sheet cannot be located. These style sheets are available for earlier versions of Teststand? and maybe some simple instructions about where it should be located in the directory of files so that everything plays well.

  Hey Laurent,.

  It seems that the XML files created with an absolute path to the style sheet. If you just copy the XML files without first packaging to distribution, it is perhaps what is the question.

  If you have access to the original system, you could package the XML files for redistribution by using the standalone tool XML Pack.exe, also available through the menu Tools (files XML/HTML Package for Distribution...).

  Alternatively, you can modify your XML files to point to the style sheet that you don't have on your system.

  The first line of the XML file will be the location of the stylesheet in it--you can change this path to point to the stylesheets provide with TestStand v4.2.

  OK, so where is it?

  Nothing I can find on the menus offer this option reads regular Frame or XML mode.

  Also, when I find it, I need to load css in Dreamweaver? If I should not be able to use the XML view?

  No Colum, I found since then. (In fact I found a video by Bernard l. a. which explains a bit).

  In the module 'Release' are 5 choices (epub, html, etc.) and selecting one highlights a button for settings. Change the settings has TWO tabs, one called Style mappings, which is where the button for import and export styles.

  There a button for Automap paragraph Styles which I will experiment with the next.

  I went to DW CS6 CC and found what appears to be a bug:

  Start a new HTML document or open an existing one. Click on class, and then select attach a Style sheet... the Properties tab and nothing happens.

  Thank you for reporting this issue to us. We are aware of this problem and you can expect to which will be fixed in the next update of DW.

  This only happens when the Panel CSS Designer is closed and you happened to revive DW and try to attach a style sheet.

  I suggest you to have CSS Designer panel open and test this workflow. You can find it at window > CSS Designer

• Get style sheets to work in the header.php and associated files

  Let's say I created a file header.php in my includes folder.  And I include in my index.php file in the root directory of the site.

  Then in the header.php file, I have a link to the style sheet.

  The question that I've always found is that you can't get the header.php file to apply the style sheet.

  I can operate using global links, however I don't want to do that I have to cancel them before I have download site.  (And I forgot...)

  Anyway, I came up with this code today to try to solve this problem.  Here is my header up to now file:

  Here is what it does:

  1. we create a variable called $directory that corresponds to the current directory.

  2. then what it will create another variable called $currentFolder which is equal to, or not the variable $directory contains the word "includes".

  3 then he said: If $currentFolder is true, then it has the location of the style sheet with respect to the header.php file.

  4. other - if it IS false then the style sheet is located in a location with regard to the files in my root directory.

  This works perfectly well... in Live view mode.  The header.php and index.php formats the header using live view.  Nor will however be the format in Design view.  That sucks cause I was pretty happy that I came up with this code on my own.

  The reason why it is not working in Design view - I realize now--is because Dreamweaver will not deal with this script in Design view.

  Does anyone know how to get this script to run in design mode?  Or maybe some suggestions on modifying this code to run in design mode?

  Right. This is because, it seems that you already understand this, the relative location of the css file is different from the point of view of the header file and the file parent. Because the header file is included in the parent on the server, the client then sees the css file in the wrong place.

  The solution is to use stylesheets for the time Design. It will be worth the css of the page at design time only - it will not actually insert the css file in the code. So, insert the reference of css in the header of the point of view of the parent file - index.html. Then add a design time style sheet. It should work.

• Cannot find the style sheet

  I just built a website using a downloaded template.  It works fine when I test it on my computer, but there is no css file in the files Panel and when I download on the public server, there is no formatting.  I am tired of the style sheet that came with the model, but I made so many changes, I is not good either.  I searched my computer for the .css files and don't get anything done with a current date.  Help!  There is no point in showing with the host it is not just made up because there is no css with her file.

  Copy your images and CSS in your Local Site of DW folder.  In general, I put my style sheets within a folder CSS and images in a hot folder - see screenshot.
