HUD color - hue change wheel?

PS CC 2014.2.2, Mac OS X 10.8.5

I want to change the hue without changing the current shadow when you access the HUD color wheel. I read I should 'hold the mouse down, release shortcut keys and press space' to change the hue, but when I do that shade AND Hue-pickers are frozen. How to actually choose a new hue? Not working is not for me.

I read this thread and related links: Re: HUD Color Picker without success.

Thank you.

OK, think about it. I did not understand that I needed to 'release the space bar' while the slider or color wheel to change the hue. Sure NOT intuitive.

  • Convert to color profile change

Can someone help me with a problem affecting some AdobeRGB files when I convert it to SRGB? In a very small number of cases when I convert to profile (srgb IEC61966 - 2.1) there is a noticeable change in some vivid reds and Greens; they become much more dull and in some cases, the color actually changes. When this happens it is usually evident in clothes colored like Indian saris. I speak no limits in the srgb color space. After that I worked on Adobe Photoshop (CS6) files in the middle of wide range that I discovered their with my monitor (Dell U2713H) set to emulate the srgb color space, then make any adjustments to Hue/Saturation before converting in profile and save as JPG files with the profiles included for download on the web. In most cases the converted file is the same as the previously converted file, but sometimes there is this color change marked somewhere in the picture. For example, in one case, a turquoise shawl has become a dull blue; in another, a bright green band on a dress became a pale greenish yellow. In the first case when I checked the color data I found that all the Red had been emptied of the stole, making it impossible to do in any still tweaking with mixer or color balance tools to recover the original color. The change is visible in Photoshop, so it has nothing to do with my Viewer. As soon as I click on "convert to profile" is the color.

Is it possible to deal with this problem?

    Bloatt wrote:

Example 1: a sample of a turquoise shawl in a JPG Adobe image has RGB values of 52, 173, 204. If I find the evidence with evidence of the display, option srgb standard Internet, these values do not change (even if the fact of appearance). But when I convert to profile in the Edit menu with defined standard srgb as the Red value destination space goes to 0, while green and blue values remain the same; If I drag the eyedropper across the value in red shawl is 0.

Example 2 is very similar: a green stripe on a dress.  Pre-conversion values 54, 157, 107. After the conversion, the Red value is 0.

In both cases, it's normal. Both these very saturated colors of cyanish are well outside of gamut sRGB and clips of the Red layer to 0.

  • Without left button held down HUD color picker

    Hello

The most hideous hotkey in Photshop can be pressed the keys/4 buttons:

    ALT

and the HUD color picker will be displayed, until you release this combo button / button. So I hope that everyone has 4 available fingers anytime actually support those required Oh Adobe, who came up with this one...

Well well... when the HUD color picker is visible, it automatically changes your foreground color as you * stationary * the cursor on the selector, it is pointless to click on it to change the color as you do in the standard color picker.

Question - is possible that you * can * do the same? In other words, make the HUD selector so that you have to click anywhere inside to change color instead?  I don't want to automatically change the color that you simply place your cursor around her, I would have preferred that you need to click on it to change the colors.

    Is it a possibility?

    Wow.

    Thanks anyway

I think that I only had this problem since switching to the CC 2014, but I can't be sure exactly when he started.

When I open the color picker to change the color of an object, the color automatically changes to a different color. It's very disruptive, because I have no way of telling what was original color, trying to make small changes. And this isn't a small jump either: for example, the default black jumps automatically to purple C60M90 - every time! It occurs not only with the default color, but also after that I chose a shade myself - it seems only to happen with black and grey.

Any help would be appreciated, because it drives me crazy. I tried to activate and deactivate the option "work of Art a default appearance" as it was the only thing I could think of and have had problems with this acting strangely before. I don't see what I should try. If we don't, I'll try trashing the Preferences folder.

  • Opacity value of value of hue change spot color

Does anyone know a script to change all spot color objects that have an opacity value of the corresponding value of the color of the spot color? Could also be to treat the colors, global or not - but the key is to work.

If an object uses a spot color that is to say 13% opacity, then it must be on opacity 100% and the value of 13% spot color tint. If an object has been 75% opacity, then it must be set to the hue of 75% to 100% opacity etc. Throughout the tonal range for all objects.

It would be nice if the blending mode of the spot color has been set to normal if it was something else (obscure, product etc.). I guess it would be great if there was an option to set the object for a collection if the blending mode used was darken or multiply, but this is the icing on the cake. Essence is the opacity value of spot object of the value of spot color mapping and setting the opacity to 100%.

I would have thought it would be a problem quite common in packaging prepress, however I had no success in the search for such a script.

    Here's a more complete script.

  • How can I change the font color hue in a script?

I currently have a script in a pdf file to be completed.

    event.target.textColor = event.value < 97? Color.Red: green color;

This option enables the numbers in the red field if they are less than 97 and green if they are longer. The line works, but I would change the shade of green for a hexadecimal color. I don't know how to do it. When I put in the number, it comes back as a syntax error or does not at all. Can someone help me?

Instead of color.red or color.green, you would specify something an array of values such as:

    ["RGB", 100/255, 200/255, 50/255]

where 100, 200 and 50 are examples of decimal equivalents of the hexagonal, red, green and blue values, respectively. The Acrobat JavaScript reference contains more information on color charts.

  • Try to install the white color of Len wheel

Hello all, sorry I'm a bit new at this

I tried to install an extension in my Photoshop CC 2015, which is a color created by Len White (PaintersWheel cs6) wheel, it says to install the file in Adobe > Photoshop > Plug-ins > panels and there seems not to be a case of panels. I was wondering if there is a way around this, or if it's just because his Photoshop CC.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this question.

Funny enough, I tried without success last year and I think the answer is simple, it is that cc2015 is not compatible with the extension. On the top of my head, I remember well the problem lies in the fact that CS6 used swf for extensions files while CC2015 uses HTML5, which are very different things. I think the CC2014 problem also affects if given the time elapsed, it seems that if the color wheel of Mr. White will not be updated for modern versions of Photoshop. An alternative is Coolorus which is compatible and costs $15. You could of course use the HUD of Photoshop. Select a brush, and hold down shift - alt on a PC or shift-option on a Mac. Right-click on the canvas and the wheel appears with the depressed keys.

The foregoing is the color wheel, but you get to define exactly what you want in Photoshop preferences

It isn't as pretty as Coolorus but equally useful.

  • Recovery slider and color Unblown changes

    Hello

I attached a pair of screenshots of the part of an image and part of the lightroom 2.4 develop visible screen.

    In the before picture, you can see recovery 0 and R G 42.4 42.1 B 88.5.

In the after with only the recovery slider moved to 51 you get R 52.5 G 50.3 B 80.5

Why the hell is this unblown part of the image in color shifted so much?

Why the blue even suffer the recovery slider when there a certain way to go before cutting any channel.

The bit that escapes me is quite the increase in red and green by 10%, just makes no sense.

If it was considered by the software to reduce the blue, why shouldn't R & G treat in the same way, rather than the reverse?

The Red of the Cap undergoes a similar disorder to the top of the blue and green channels.

The whole image seems to suffer the color changes including parts that have no channel anywhere near clipping, why?

    See you soon

    John

It is a known issue with the new calibration profiles. A lot of discussion on this forum and the forum of the cab if you search for it. Profiles (adobe standard and camera matching profile) have wrong hue in them causing the color to move when you do things like highlight the exposure or recovery compensation. You can read about it here: http://dcptool.sourceforge.net/Hue%20Twists.html this page also links to a tool that allows you to do without twisting profiles that do not show these changes.

  • distribution of strange color on the wheel

What type of kuler color wheel use? It certainly differs from standard as on this Web site: http://color-wheel-pro.com/color-wheel-types.html
    Can someone, explain it please?
When you factor in HSV H = 0 mode red is OK, but when you put H = 180 (half the value), it is good cyan BUT cyan is not placed in front of the red and it is several degrees lower!

    Hello

I am not very familiar with how HSV gives the hue of the color codes, but there is an unfortunate fact on cyan to red in color wheels. It is same ture for the link you attached. In advance, it is true for the wheels of color RGB and CMYK, which is the most respected. You're very probably wrong because of the pigment color wheel that they teach in art lessons. In this color wheel I have there is a different system according to traditional painting pigments. This color wheel is no more valid on the market, since RGB represents the light and CMYK printing colors perfectly. In addition the RGB and CMYK color wheel color wheel has the same agenda, but he turned as given that the primary colors are shifted to RGB to cmy. The issue is deep, but if you check the net color theory, there is no problem I guess.

    Take care.

  • Colorful random Changing Patterns on iPhone 6

Comrade Applers, of the good day

I had a very strange experience with my iPhone... Last week, I woke up and found my iPhone looking like this... It is weird changing everywhere colorful patterns. It declined or was immersed in a liquid ever. He went just in case like that in the morning. I'm afraid it's a software problem. I tried to restore it as new and from a backup, but does not unfortunately. Someone of you have no idea what to do to fix this?

    Thank you in advance,

    MIkhail

I'm guessing that you were not able to retrieve the device from there. Usually the appearance of strange colors and patterns on the screen is indicative of a failing LCD screen. If a factory restore does not recover the device, then it is not software. I suggest that you take a go-Genius Bar to the nearest Apple store or service provider authorized Apple to have the material examined.
