  All your links are converted to water courses. I've seen that happen before, when the data is stored on the network rather than locally, and iTunes is trying to rebuild the library after a crash. See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. It would be possible to revert to an earlier version of your library database work correctly. See also make a library of portable split.   I use a photo stream having the photos to import into my Mac (which has iCloud library enabled) from my iPhone (which has no active ICPL).

  About half of the time on my mac Photos will miss a photo or two times. You can see in the "pictures" section, but it will not appear in the 'Moments '.

  Leave the Photos App and relaunch it solves it.

  Anyone else running into this on a regular basis?

  I have this strange thing started happening a few days ago

  When you import into LR, (64 bit of windows 10 CC2015.3) directly from an SD card inserted in a bed in the card slot, the application does not remember photos that I already imported.  I have 200 photos, import a number of them, say 40.  Make sure that I clicked on "new photos", but all THE photos appear. At first I thought that the camera musemum shots when he wrote, but is not the issue. I close LR and restarted the computer. This happens on 2 different cards, 2 different cameras.

  Well, that clarifies.

  Open Photoshop > edit > Preferences > Performance > the GPU settings > advanced settings > Drawing Mode > change to base - from now on, it is in "Advanced". See if that helps.

• Are not not in the importation of the Windows folders screen.

  I work with LR 4.1 under WIndows 7 64-bit. I have an external hard drive with several folders that contain several photos. The drive is listed in the import screen, but none of the folders are presented and cannot be opened. I checked the files hidden without success.  I can open and view the folders and files in ACR, bridge CS5. I tried to drag files on the LR since the Explorer grid.  When I do this it seems that the folder is moved, and then opens the import. However, the folders or files are not listed! I moved a test folder of the drive to another drive and try to import, but the file is still not listed. What is unique in the records that is blocking them?

  OK, well I am pretty well confused on this. Last thing to check... Take a look at the properties (general tab) to the top level on the drive folders: to ensure that they are not specified as "hidden". Lightroom can't see "hidden" folders

  And what is happening with all the other readers... can Lightroom see those records or they also show the same problem?

  I just upgraded my Dell PE2950 server running WIndows Server 2008 and Hyper-V to 32 GB of Ram-> 64 GB of Ram.

  The o/s recognizes the 64 GB of Ram, but Hyper-V shows still 32GB Ram on his info page...

• Computer is not download the 'important' for vista security updates

  I have problems with the download of the microsoft/windows updates current.  My computer is set to automatically download, but there was a series of 10 "major updates" that I've been prompted to manually download.  However, I get a notice that my computer could not download 5 of these 'important' for vista security updates.  Important security downloads carry reference numbers: KB956744 KB971557 and KB971657, KB973507, KB973540.   Are the other three updates that will not download "update for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB968389)" and "update for the filter of junk mail from Windows Mail for x 64 systems (KB905866).»

  A good step to start with the recommendation provided by Jos Raymond. In addition to this, you can try to clean boot.

  We would like to get a better understanding of this issue, so we can better help not only you but other users with similar problems.

  What version of the operating system you are using (Windows Vista or XP)?

  Please let us know if you see errors or the Windows Update window error codes.

  Has nothing changed on your system just before that this problem has occurred - all new hardware devices installed?  New software or updates installed?

  If you can give us these answers we can help diagnose this problem.

  Meanwhile, I have a few basic steps that you can follow first, we can try to put the computer in a clean boot state and then try to install the updates:

  To do a clean boot, follow the steps below:

  1. Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

  2. click on Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility.If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click continue.

  3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the Load Startup items check box. (The box use the Boot file is not available.)

  4. on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click disable all.

  Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

  5. click OKand then click restart.

  Once the computer restarts, try to install the updates. If you are not able to install, please check for error messages or error codes.

  To restart the computer to a normal startup, follow these steps:

• Will not read the imported video.  The controls are unresponsive.

  I am completely new to video editing.  I imported a couple of clips from my dslr, .mov files.  They seemed imported ok, I recorded them at 60 fps in 720 p on 30secs each.  The clips are shown on the screen when I double click on the screen of project, I can visualize using the slider, but they do not play back when I hit the space bar or click the play button.

  Recently, I decided to start messing around with some Java3d. I tried to get a sample program to try to dissect, but I can not even past the compilation. The main problem is the fact that import declarations cannot be resolved. I thought that maybe I was using an obsolete example program, but after further inspection of the Oracle Java3d tutorials, I saw the same import declarations. I downloaded java3d 1.5.1 because I thought that maybe it has not been included in the base java classes. It has not helped me at all. So it is perhaps a problem with the IDE (eclipse) does not not recognize. However, I had no such success with Google so far. I realize that it is more than likely a horribly simple mistake that anyone on a novice understanding of Java would be able to spot.
