I am getting an access denied for file rfmpsf.dll

How should I do? This message appears approximately every minute or more.

With a filename like that I guess that your PC is infected with a virus, Trojan or Malware

  • Get the "Access denied" error when you try to play all video files in another folder on my external hard drive.

A couple of days, I've had accidentally one of the folders slipped on my hard drive in the folder above him and was presented with the "Access denied" error messages when I tried the two a) reglisser it out & b) open it from the record she had been driven to (which was not a folder of my making that is a jibberish titled folder containing two .vdm files it contains first)

After receiving advice of a friend, I did a restore from safe mode on the eve of the day when he moved and he did bring him back with all the files and files in the right place, but now I'm getting an access denied for each file, I try to play. Whether Real Player, Windows Media Player etc none will play.

Just to test, I slipped a .avi file in the folder to see if he was going to play and he did it can be the folder settings, I'm just hoping that all these files are now not corrupted and unplayable as I have some 180 GB of data in this folder in more than 1000 files.

    Any help is very appreciated.

What version/service pack of XP are you using?

What format of your hard drive is formatted to?

You can check the version/service pack:

    ·         Right click my computer

    ·         Click on Properties

    ·         On the general tab, under System: you will see your information

For example: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3

You can check what is the format of your hard drive is:

    ·         Click Start

    ·         Click on my computer

    ·         Right click on Local disk (c) (or letter that contains your operating system)

    ·         Click on Properties

    ·         On the general tab, next to file system: you will see the format of your hard drive (Fat32 or NTFS)

Can't wait to hear back on your part.

  • I get a "ACCESS DENIED" pop up when I save my files.

This is a Web site, I get a "ACCESS DENIED" pop up when I save my files. TI worked for weeks and never seen that before. I can remove it from the list of managed sites and add it back to start recording again, but it's just a matter of time before it starts to appear again.

I tried to find something in preferences and nothing is done, I can't find a solution.

    Screen Shot 2015-07-16 at 1.00.39 PM.png

So I found the root of the problem.

    1. I use two different computers at the same time to work on my Web sites.

    2. I had dreamweaver opens on a doing the actual work on the root folders open on the other (I opened my Web pages by using a browser on this computer using dreamweaver on the other).

    3. apparently, when I have the root folder open on one computer and use the folder root in Dreamweaver on the other, the firewall or software itself denies access.

    4. when I close the folder root on computers, Dreamweaver allows me to do everything in one more time.

Weird, but the problem is solved.

  • When you download the SP3 I get an access denied screen.

I'm trying to update an old computer with SP3, I get an access denied screen. Someone has an idea how to fix?

    Hello

I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to install Service pack 1. Please, I beg you, do not worry I will do my best to get out you of this situation.

To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. What is the exact error message you get?

    2. do you have an anti-virus installed on the computer program?

    3 are logged as administrator?

4 are you trying to download the service pack manually or through Windows update?

    5. are you aware of any changes made to the computer before the show?

Here is a link with some good steps that you must follow before you install service pack 1. If the problem persists, you can go through the article troubleshooting steps and check.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Note: there is a risk of data loss if all the files are infected and which can be removed in the cleaning process.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

I guess you have a problem with
your video driver. You may want to update or
It may have been a version that your
    hardware has problems with.

Do a restore of the system in Mode safe for a time
before the problem started, may be worth a try.

  • Access denied for each file

    Dear all

    I hope you do well.

Please let me know if you can help me with the following problem.

I have a laptop with windows vista home premium, I only C & D drives, only a single user.
in front of a low, I added new standard user called HARNOIS, no administrator and I edited the security option for the D drive, and I REFUSED all permissions for this user 'HARNOIS', which means HAMZEH may not access anything on the D drive.
then after a day, I deleted account HARNOIS and then I tried to restore everything as before, but unfortunately my (Administrator) account, I encountered ERROR of ACCESS DENIED, I tried to take possession of each folder and then apply a full permission and subfolder and files in this folder, but the problem is the following:
I need to change the option of advanced security for each file in this folder, nothing to apply at once, instead, I have to file-by-file and I have a large number of files in each folder.

so, how can I restore my previous setting at a time.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards
