I am running Windows 7 Professional. Unable to connect, do not accept the password. Locked out! How to get back IN?

The last time that I turned my computer off all seemed well.  When I turned it on, once again, I was unable to connect using the same password that I have been using since the user account has been created.  I can't sign with my accout used regularly (with administrative privileges) or my administrator account.  Whenever I try a message appears on the upper left side next to a small red circle with an "X" in the middle that says "Windows Security" white. And right below says "HRESULT 0 x 80074003.»  Why can I not sign? Why won't my password?  Please tell me that there is a solution. I have a lot of important things on my computer that I can't afford to lose.  When I tried to back up my system on an external hard drive, it would not even show up either of the two hard disks on the computer and apparently does not recognize external hard drive 500 GB.  He has always tried to save everything on the internal 'C' drive. Since there is not enough space to back up my system, I get a message saying that there is not enough room and choose a different disk and try again.  I need HELP BAD!

There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
  • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows to a point when your computer worked well.
  • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
  • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
  • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
  • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
  • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
On the documents, you cannot afford to lose: there are three groups of people.
  • The largest group: those who do not back up their important files or save them only once in a blue moon.
  • A small group: those who now save their files frequently because they have suffered a major disaster.
  • The smallest group: those who back up their files regularly because they prefer not to wait for the disaster to happen.
There is a gradual migration from the first to the second group. The transition can be extremely painful. You can probably save your files this time but next time you may lose the lot unless go out you in the first group.

  • Windows XP Pro SP2 re - install does not accept the product key.

I'm trying to re - use the product key on the sticker from the bottom of the laptop.  This is the same computer that was working fine until I decided to reinstall, but I use a different installation media because the laptop (a refurb) never came with the media.  Can I call MS and get it re-authorized?  I have XP Pro SP2 and XP Pro SP3 Reacondicionador media.

You try to install Windows XP with OEM product key you have on your COA sticker. So be sure that you have a generic Windows XP OEM CD, because VLK or Retail CD does not accept the OEM product key.

  • When I try to connect to the wireless router, it asks you the password I put it and he then asked again and will not accept the password. all other computers (without windows 7) connect correctly.

My new computer has windows 7 when I try to connect it to my router it ask the password, then he asks the network password I put in the same password and it does not accept it. I spent ove an hour on the phone with a very helpful and confused expert to the Virgin. He tells me that the password only I need to communicate with the router is the main. We tried a lot of things all very technical and finally he gave up. Other computers with vista on connect very well with no problems at all.

The network is fine and all the settings are fine. Occasionally, it connects via a home network but then it stops. When I try to communicate with the printer wireless signal stops and starts.

I don't hold much hope of a response that experts were left very confused by this first abandoned after 45 minutes and the second lastered over an hour are totally flumaxed and blame windows 7

But everyone told me that windows 7 was supposed to be the best

Last Thursday my computer set up regular updates as usual.  When I restarted the computer, it cannot accept my password to complete the start-up operation.  I checked that I had the correct password and caps was off.  Now cannot access the laptop at all.  It is configured with Windows Vista, is a computer dell laptop and I bought it at the beginning of 2009. It seems that I never put a password reset disk and I don't have the original installation disc of vista with me - it all happened to be loaded.  Tips to get again access my laptop?

  • Windows Sign-on does not accept the fingerprint reader

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad W510 running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  It comes with the Lenovo Fingerprint Reader software, and I activated it and registered fingerprints.  When I lock the computer, I am able to use the instead of the password fingerprint reader to log on.  Also, when I put the computer into standby mode, I am also able to open a session with the fingerprint reader.  However, when I first turn on the computer, the windows logon screen does not allow me to use the fingerprint reader, but only accepts a password.  No idea what could be wrong?

The problem is resolved. It was a misunderstanding on my part. By clicking on the "Change user" button, I could see the scanner as a connection option. Once I used once the fingerprint reader, which then became the default user and now presents itself whenever I connect. If I want to return to the use of the password, I can do so using the button 'change user '.

  • Windows Vista does not accept my password (unchanged) but I have no recovery disk - Windows is already installed

As the title says after using my laptop without any previous problems, suddenly I can not connect on Windows Vista.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

If the above does not fix it:

Here are the different methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
