I am trying to disable the option 'comments' on my wireless internet connection. I was told to go to my configuration of the router, but how do the router on my PC?

In the past, I have activated the 'comments' option while others may have access to my wireless internet, but now I want to turn it off.  I got to go to my router configuration. How do the settings on my router on my PC?  I forgot how I activated the option.  Thank you very much.

Hello

You must contact the manufacturer of the router for the best assistance.

    2. verified Harware for "Intel (r) PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Net" - WORKS FINE.
3 drivers for the cards above, have most recent downloads - WORKS FINE.
4 activated the 'USE WINDOWS TO CONFIGURE MY WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS' button on the tab 'network connections'.

In fact... impossible to find the above until that earlier. What happened immediately, is that I no longer get the "ERROR MESSAGE to SEE the ARTICLE ID: 871122" message. And instead, I could FIND my network. He finally has shown Up! However...

Now, I clicked on my network and click 'CONNECT' and his request now a WEP key to be entered twice.

    Hi oms1957

I recommend you try these methods

    Method 1:

Reset the wireless network and make sure that you set the level of security to WPA2-Personal, as it is recommended.

Here are some links that will help you set up the wireless network

What are the different wireless network security methods?

    Method 2:

If this does not clear if installed third-party antivirus and then try to connect. If the problem is resolved, you have to uninstall the antivirus and reinstall back or check with the settings.

    Method 3:

Cycle power to the router and check if this is useful.

  • Microsoft Support pages are not viewable in Firefox (I tried to disable the modules and plugins)

When trying to view a Microsoft Support article, I see the following (attached). It lacks all the text. This seemed to be correlated with the installation of 35 Firefox or Google Chrome 40.
It does not correctly in IE 11 either.

I tried to disable modules and Flash enabled. I find it very strange. I use a strong security product, have the latest version of Flash Player (although I turned off after that I tried to reproduce the problem because there is currently a 0-day).

Here is an example. (I tried several examples - including those of the previous months to see if it was a mistake to content at their end).

  • I had access to my Bookmarks Toolbar wthat wrhen in fullscreen. Tried to disable the modules and plugins that have been updated without result. Suggestions?

The add-on updated to date has been "Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar" to the 1.3.4 version and the plug-in has been Microsoft Siverlight to 5.1.10411.0 that were made earlier today. I don't think my daughter would have deliberately tried to change the settings without my permission. I have disabled them individually and with no positive effect. I know I have had access to him last night then in full screen (online game) when I open Facebook. Is anyone aware of a parameter which may affect this issue?

You can use the code in userChrome.css to have the toolbar of bookmarks visible mode full-screen.

Add code to userChrome.css below default @namespace.

Customization files (interface) userChrome.css and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the user profile folder.

  • Lose the wireless internet connection when it is not active

    Hello
I have an annoying problem. IM losing my connection wireless internet access after a few minutes is not active... Well not according to the 'doctor' program - it shows no signs of a problem.

Looking at the 'LAN' icon, I see he's trying to connect when I ask, for example, an update on the current site, but simply not turn on the blue bar.

The only cure to get online is to update the connection.

    What I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks in advance... Jens

    Hello Jens

Please check the option sign-out after x... on your router. The sign-out feature is used to disconnect the router from your ISP automatically when there is no activity for a certain period of time. For example, place a check mark next to this option and enter 5 in the minute field will cause the router to disconnect from the Internet after 5 minutes of no activity from the Internet. This option should be used if you pay for your Internet service by the minute.

  • Optional hardware update interfering with internet connection

I downloaded two support.microsoft.com optional hardware updates this past weekend, and one of them is interfering with my internet connection.  I am running Windows XP Edition family and try to use internet explore to connect.  I talked to tech support at my ISP and determined that it is not a problem with their service.  How can I identify what update caused this problem and uninstall it?

You should get the hardware updates directly from the manufacturer of your hardware rather than rely on Windows Update.

Suggest that restore you drivers (if possible) for optional hardware updates two you installed and check the site of the manufacturer for the most recent update (if any) and install them.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283657

If you want to diagnose that we (update caused the problem), after removing the updates, install one, if you have the internet connection, then this is the 2nd which caused the problem. If your internet connection is missing, then it is one that you have installed.
