I am trying to fill out a form and when I get to a certain part what I type is duplicated all the way down the rest of the form.

I am filling a form and when I get to a certain part, what I'm typing is duplicated to the bottom of the page.

Who would say that the form has been successfully created.  What is a public form?  If so, can you post a link to it?

I'm filling out a form that is available on a site. When I click on the option to fill out and submit the form 'online' a pdf document is displayed in chrome with the following text

«To display all of the content of this document, you need a later version the viewer PDF.» You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html for further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html"

Needless to day, I installed the latest version. I even reinstalled using the link in the message, but nothing helped. Whenever I click on the link to go forward, I get the same message. Question: (i) is it my PC/software (Vista), (ii) is the site where I'm trying to submit the form, or (iii) is it the software acrobat reader. Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.

It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.

Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

  • Struggling to fill out a form?

I tried to fill out forms for school about the Adobe reader x.
The form has the name then first name, etc.
Well, when I type my name in the box, he also puts it in the first name box.
And when I clear my name in the first name box, it erases it also in the last name box.
I have tried everything I can think and he starts really getting aggravating.

The problem is that the form is not created correctly. The behavior you describe will happen when fields have the same name. You can't fix with player, but you can if you have Acrobat.

  • Fill out a form and send it to signatures, all in a single pass partially: can it be done?

How to fill out a form, partially just fill some fields and leaving the rest to be filled later. How to partially fill a form AND send it also to the signature, in a single session. In one sitting.

So, in other words, how a) partially fill a form, b) send him outside to collect signatures, c) get the form back, finish filling out and signing myself.

All this is possible in one continuous pass (more or less)? I think it's possible, right? Create a form, then partially fill it out AND send it to the signing, also, at the same time?

    Hello Daniel,.

If you are looking to counter sign the document after completing the fields as the sender, it can be achieved. You can add the email address of the signatory on the ground and also check, "I need to sign' last. Once the signer sign, you will receive the document to fill out and sign as well.

We have auto save feature with which the signatory can fill in partial form and can close it. Once it reopens, it will have saved information.

  • When I fill out a form to fill out online I can't print or save it

I am able to fill out a form to fill out, but it prints white and save empty. What could be the problem?

I downloaded the form on this site and also the site of the Government. Security in the Properties section, explains the form should be the screen-fillable and printable. I use windows 7 and try to fill it in adobe reader. I normally don't need to have an expensive program just fill out a form and do not make changes. I know that the form is locked for editing.

When I print after filling it out, or save it after filling, the form I get empty.

    Hi Eileen97933052,

The PDF form must be extended drive in order to have this feature to save & print the form data.

Please confirm by the PDF Creator is the PDF reader or not extended.

Otherwise, if you have Acrobat installed on your system, you can reader extend PDF form yourself.

  • Disable programmatic purple "fill out this form" header for reader/acrobat

    Hi guys.

Hope this is an easy solution.

I want my forms to open without showing that "Please fill out this form" purple header.

Can it be coded around, say with something in the event docopen maybe?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Greg,.

I'm pretty sure that you can't hide the Document Message Bar by using script. The user can disable preferences in Acrobat/Reader when they open the form.
