I am upgrading to windows 7 Home premium to windows 7 Professional and have purchased a Microsoft key. When I followed the instructions at Anytime Upgrade it says it's the wrong key?

Greetings,

I need to upgrade my ASUS laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium, fully licensed and the COA sticker. I went to the Microsoft site upgrade Express and bought a key specifically to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional W7HP.

When he proceeds to upgrade the message says that I have an incorrect key. I tried the automatic upgrade indicated by the purchase of Microsoft site and also by running the Express upgrade and manually enter the key from the email sent to me by Microsoft.

Here's the MGADiag report for my system:

Thank you for that. I did some more research on the forums then rebooted my machine. The installation is completed successfully. I think that Microsoft should focus on this. Very confusing tell them that this is a key issue when all that is needed is the machine to be restarted. Thanks for your help anyway. See you soon

  • Two questions about OEM Windows XP Professional and a purchasing office.

I have three assembled desktop systems running Windows XP Professional OEM, two of which are at goal (running Office home and student) and the other for business purposes (mounted on 6 Jan with Office 2010 30 day trail)

First question: the first computer at my home a spindle of 775 Intel Core2Duo processor running Windows XP Professional OEM. Can I upgrade the CPU Core2Quad so that my BONES can be reactivated.

Second question: the second computer to my home has Asus 845 chipset motherboard, processor 2.26 GHz celeron. I fixed my motherboard twice for swollen capacitors. If my motherboard fails, the professional edition OEM XP be reactivated on motherboard of second hand I buy with the same processor.

Third question: I have an assembled computer running Windows 7 OEM for commercial purposes. As my period of office trail will expire I want to buy Office. I use only three products in Office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Can I use Home and Student Edition for my business purpose. Can I get (and where I can buy) package of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint only for businesses. I do not use one note, Outlook, Publisher, etc. available in Office Professional edition.

    (1) can you change the processor. Yes, activation should not be necessary if you make any other changes.

  • Buy new computer Windows 7 Professional and have questions about other files, and the removals of document on the old computer

    Hi all!

I need help.    I just bought a new computer that has Windows 7 on it.     This old computer is 7 years old

and last year I had put win 7 professional about it.     I'm trying to delete files on it.    How can I do this correctly.

What I need to remove the Windows 7 Professional out of it since I bought it and have the license and the disc.    Or, do

to keep the disc and just remove it from this computer.     What happens if someone else wants the computer I leave it on and

Give them the disc.   How can I handle this?     I am new to this?    Someone just set up my new computer and I want to

to make sure that I have all my passwords and other things out of that right.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME SOON!    A.S.A.P.!    Cause I need to work for the new space.

    Thank you.    Sharon

If you delete all partitions found (when booting from the cd of win) it will only destroy what is on the hard drive of the PC (all data can be saved), he won't do anything to victory dvd

If your new PC shipped with win7 preinstalled you need not really your origonal dvd win7. -You can sell or keep

If you do not want to give the old PC, then simply remove the hard drive (how can be found on google) and destroy the hard drive with a heavy hammer

(A seven year old PC is practically worthless)

  • I have a PC with Windows 7 Professional and Adobe Reader.  Adobe continued auto changing all the dates in a PDF document.  Help!

I am doing an interactive PDF for an insurance company.  The form has several dates that should be filled, as my DOB, date of the training and the date of the current medical certificate.  If I enter data in one of the date fields, it automatically changes all dates.  Of course, these dates are all different, but it does not make them different.  This happens also for address fields.  I have to be able to enter my home address and the address where I completed my training.  I went to: Edition-Preferences-Form and not the box 'automatically calculate field values' and 'AutoComplete' off.  Changing always automatically all similar fields with the same data!  Help, please!

It occurs because the form designer has done a terrible job in this area and just copy & pasted fields, which means that they are identical copies of each other. You can not do something to prevent that from happening. Report the problem to the insurance company. They have to sort on their end.

  • Trying to Win 7 Home Premium to Win 7 Professional. It forces me to turn on the system restore, but I don't want to. How can I proceed?

Just got a new Dell laptop. Have restored to factory settings again. I am trying to upgrade to Win 7 home premium to win 7 professional. The first time I did it, it took place without a hitch. But this second everyone, it won't continue unless I turn on system restore. But from what I've read in the dialog box, if I turn on system restore, I fear he would write on the factory saved settings. And I don't want to do that. I guess the economies of the plant are in the "Recovery" folder that is separate from the C drive.

Turn on system restore, if necessary replace the factory settings in the folder "recovery"? Thanks for the help.

This problem started about 10 days when I used the CD of XP Professional to correct a problem. My computer is a Dell Dimension 5100 and I have two CDs that were sent to me - Dell - Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP 3 and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Version 2005 with update Rollup 2.

Thanks again and I ran the "fix it" you suggested but it have no problem found to fix. Every thing works fine on my system, but Media Center won't play DVD. It will play CDs and videos on my system.

The initial problem was that I could not download the Blackberry Desktop Software - updates needed. The computer came with Windows XP Media Center Edition Home and I use Internet Explorer 8 as my default browser. I also use Mozilla Firefox as my backup browser.

    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not still in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

the easiest way is to use your COA key. (it can be found in your battery compartment.)
Unfortunately, the recovery media is AWOL

You should also have an OEM recovery partition that can be used to retrieve shipped from your system to a State. check your documentation or your manufacturer's website for instructions on how to use it. You can also order your manufacturer's recovery disks.
