• I think that my system of basic windows files have been changed and currupted can someone please help!

  I get major errors that led me to think my windows files have been modified and currupted I just can't install microsoft updates they download, but I'm unable to install, I'm unable to use the Disk Defragmenter and disk scan as it said my system is already in use.   It's really a stupid question, but I forgot to save my photoshop CS5 save the file and I lost my project. I wanted to start because fortunately I had saved a brief screenshot of beginning of my work, until I realized that I had no idea of what I did to the Image 1 (in addition to using the lasso tool to make a selection) which gave rise to the Image 2. The best way I could describe it was that the selection has been duplicated I assumed that in the background, therefore causing several merged images (it becomes clearer when you look at the pictures)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I'd guess Alt-do drag the area selected several times (modifier key Alt makes a copy).
