Can anyone help, I bought Photoshop elements 12 and installed on my Apple Mac, I bought a new windows pc now and would like to transfer Photoshop on. I have the serial number and tried to find out how to install it on my new computer, but do not seem to get anywhere.
I understand (I do work for Adobe), it's that if you bought the BOXED version at a store there both install media and your serial number to work for Mac and PC
If you purchased via download, you get a version only and must buy the other version you change Mac <-->PC
Since version 12 is no longer sold, you can buy version 14

Is it possible to download CS 5.5 if I only have the serial number?
My computer recently had many issues, including many errors of the Adobe Suite. I am currently using CS6 provided by my school, so I don't have the serial number for that, but it is causing many problems so I would just get rid of it. I would like to uninstall all Adobe programs I have currently (is there a way to do this only once? I noticed there is an Adobe folder in Application Support, which remains even after uninstalling the individual programs of Adobe.
Personally, I bought CS 5.5 package, for which I have the serial number. I go to school in Brooklyn, but in the summer, I'm going home to Singapore, and I left the installation CD in Brooklyn and therefore can not access.
So I wonder if I can download CS 5.5 using the serial number I have and install it?

The serial number of the computer has nothing to do with the product key for Windows.
What happened when you tried to install Xp with sp3? If you do not have the original for the computer that you use to install Windows?
You can try to contact the manufacturer of the computer who may be able to provide the recovery disc. The disks are usually under $ 20.
