  I have to say that I am skeptical about this claim. I didn't know the database or the listener down due to attempts to connect not valid. Can you give us an error message or two confirming this?

  The right course of action is to use the correct password in the application.

  I know edition and playback in real resolution in real time is ideal, but my laptop can not handle this.

  Is it possible I can do editing smoother sequelae. Although the project seems to low resolution and I can get out put later in the resolution of cases?

  Hello. I need to sing vocals on a song (mp3) files together in a register that is much too high for me. It may actually work if my voice is recorded more slowly and then I have the speed to increase the height of the song. Can anyone suggest how I might do this?

  I assumed I should slow down the song my vocals, then speed it up and tried to simply change the tempo (BPM), but the original mp3 music seems to play at the same speed.

  How can I slow down music (lowering of the height) so that I can sing, then bring back to his tempo? Or is there a better way, excluding surgery? :-)

  What version of GarageBand do you use?

  I'll try to use vocal processors to increase the height of the voice instead of slow down and accelerate again.

  In GarageBand 11 vocal processors are available in the control panel for the vocal track: you can be US predefined height offsets or use the custom setting.  Amy you need to change the formants so to make it sound natural.

  Hello, sorry to bother you. I searched for days for the answer is 10 hours of Lynda.com tuts, have still not found the answer to this question. After drawing a mask opacity using the pen on a clip, I find that when I click on the clip, all the handles of the keyframe will vanish. See attached picture. I can't understand how to reactivate the handles to adjust them. If I click the pen tool again, the mask seems to disappear, but also corrupts so, while I have to replace the shot before I can draw a mask on it again.

  I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, there is already a bug reported for the same issue & we are working on that.

  In the meantime, you can keep the opacity to 100% or use a light shade of color to highlight the text.

  You can approach the problem the wrong way to start with. I'm in the middle of the production of a tutorial, but I will share the project file and a screenshot. See if these techniques will help. (Note: some browsers adds an extension .txt filename. AE) Simply remove the extension and keep the .aep and the file must be open)

  You can use more than one mask. You can use the methods of the different masks. I still don't know exactly what you are trying to reach.

  I have a shape layer with a mask, do what I want it to do, except that I don't want to mask completely the masked area blackout curtains. Say, only 80%, while the masked area would show through the mask to 20%, while the unmasked area is completely visible.

  For example, imagine a pizza, with a slice of visible and the other seven being visible at 20%.

  The opacity of the mask only changes the opacity of the visible pixels, which seems rather ridiculous because I can change that with its own opacity controls.

  Have two masks on your layer. Have a mask in the form of a single slice and the other mask covering the rest of the pizza. The value of opacity for each individually.

  It is not ridiculous, for the reason has demonstrated with the solution I provided: you can have several masks, each with individual settings for the opacity of the pixels not transparent that they define.

  I must be in Auto key. If is not very intuitive to manually follow a mask. Can someone explain what I got. When I put a keyframe, it also always affects a red keyframe at the beginning of a clip.

  OK, so if I put on auto and then change the mask a little to set the first keyframe and make a few adjustments it works fine. TEEN Style!

  I guess that's the best solution. Use Auto and adjust as required.

  But for reference, what are the Red handles that is supposed to mean. And is there a tutorial for manual monitoring mask.

  Also how do a mask drawing good hand, when I click on the + curve and make points, then the expanded mask gets all hexagonal... What is happening with that. you have to start with a round mask and add points and tweak from there to make a mask customized with adjustable smooth edges?

  I've recently updated to AE CS6 and to see why can't get my mask path to show. I want to create a simple mask that drives from point A to point B, thus revealing an object in my composition slowly. In CS5, all I had to do was click on the mask path Stop Watch and the yellow mask with spikes of pen and Bezier handles appear around my object. I could then create another keyframe and change the shape of the mask with my pen/selection tool that will create the desired effect. However, in CS6 when I add a mask to my object and click on the stopwatch for mask path mask yellow appears.

  You probably have the visibility of the mask off in the comp window.  Turn it back on again.
