  What happens when you try to play the game?  You get an error, if yes, what is it?  You upgrade your system to Windows 7, or is it a new system that had Windows 7 top?  If you have performed an upgrade, you should uninstall the game and reinstall.  Check that your video card driver is up-to-date.  You can perform a clean boot on your system and see if the problem persists.

  I tried flushing dns, remove the laptop network and reconnect... but I am at a loss.
