I can't access hotmail in "windows live".
When I try to log in my "windows live hotmail" or (hotmail, messenger) I can't access it because it a dialog box appears saying that I should first update "windows live". Windows live downloads updates and then installs them, but when the installation process is almost finished it fails because the APPDATA folder is not found... my pc is vista home basic

I signed n additional Windows Live Hotmail, skydrive etc I thought that he would give a private e-mail account and added the private storage. Now I can't access my original windows live account email... and that's where all my emails be sent to present so I need!
Open Windows Live Mail and click on profile. Then click on the button black options up next to the help option (not the options button in the profile) and then click More Options. Click linked IDS. Then click on link an Exlisting Live ID and follow the instructions to add your ID of origin linked to it. There are some links on how to switch between accounts in Mange bound ID that you will see if you will have instructions on how to access your old account as well as your new account - or just after if you have problems doing but I think that it is relatively simple.

Why do I have an account Hotmail and Windows Live Mail? What is the difference?
Some time ago I had a problem getting into my Hotmail account when a transaction has been by Microsoft. It did not recognize my passwords and told me I tried too many times to do so I plugged the support staff who said that I only had not provided them with enough information to reopen my account and they told me to open a new. I did it. Then I found a Windows Live Mail account on my computer that had my old Hotmail top messages. I didn't open this account and it don't did me not a password, when I saw the icon and clicked it open. Now, I had this account which was again Hotmail messages sent to my old account but name to send e-mail messages, I got to use my new account. I was confused, but agree with that. Now, however, the Windows Live Mail is asking for a password and I have the same problem I had before.

I can't get out of Windows live. How do I?
What are the details? I have connected to my hotmail through Windows Live account, and now my email closes. I log out of Windows and its still there. I close the page and open it again and there is my email for anyone to see. I am in a community computer room and cannot leave it like that. How close? Tried for an hour.
Hey! You might want to try to delete the browsing history. If this does not work, you can restart the computer. I hope this helps! :) It is not good if your emails do not close.

'Bad Request' blackBerry smartphones can not access Hotmail via browser

I can't access hotmail via my Blackberry Curve browser... after the login screen. I get a blank screen with the mention 'bad Request' in the upper left corner.

It is not you.
There has been changes. I don't really understand, but I have the same trouble of mobile platforms (passport and PlayBook).
Best I can suggest is play and find a method that works. For example, go to Bing.com and select Outlook. Connect to Microsoft and access email from here or try. Search the Hotmail from a search engine and look for a link of connection and try that.
If you find something that works, remember. I know I did, but I forget and understand each time.

How can I access Hotmail on a Vista computer?
Help!
My mail e-mail account - one that I give everyone - is a Hotmail account.
I have been using XP computers for 10 years, first with Outlook Express and now with Windows Live Mail.
Because XP support is closing, I got a Vista computer to replace my XP ones.
I tried to install Windows Live Mail on Vista and has been invited to download hundreds of updates to make sure you have the latest version of Vista.
Then, I was redirected by the Microsoft site to download Windows Essentials.
One of the components of the download Windows Essentials was Windows Mail.
I tried to create a Hotmail account in Windows Mail, but received a message that Windows Mail isn't compatible HTTP.
He said that I should install Windows Live Mail.
I tried to load Windows Live Mail and received a message that Windows Essentials is not available for Vista.
Help! I'm in a serious and unexpected mess!
How the hell can I access my Hotmail account is really important on the Vista machine please?
Webmail is not good enough, because I'm not always on the internet, and because I have tens of thousands of messages stored on Windows Live Mail I have to be able to search and read.

The solution was incredibly simple: turn off sign in 2 steps.
I don't know how Windows Live Mail is dealing with it, but Windows Mail and Thunderbird cannot.

Can't access Hotmail from Firefox "this site may be experiencing a problem?
How is that possible? All of a sudden I can't access my Hotmail account using Firefox (and even IE8 half the time) and, obviously, Hotmail IS the part of the Windows Live network!
