Recently, I rebuilt my PC with new hardware and used this window for it. I also have a Windows 7 OEM license tied to my old hardware that is always used with this material. Here are the specs if they are needed:
  Old material (with a Windows OEM tied to it):

  1055 t of AMD 6-core Phenom 2
  ASUS m4A87td/usb3 motherboard
  3 x 2 GB (or 6 gb) OCZ RAM

  New hardware (with retail Windows ready to use with it, but records do not):
  Processor Intel i3 3220 Dual core 3.3 GHZ Ivybridge
  MSI Motherboard Z77 - G45
  Kingston Hyperx 2 x 4 (or 8 GB) of RAM

  Windows says that it will automatically activate in 2 days.   XP mode only works on the teacher/business or ultimate edition.

  But you can install the Microsoft Virtual PC on your Home Premium if your CPU/BIOS support VT and install your old XP in a new virtual machine.
