  What operating system?  For Windows 7, you would go to start, devices and printers, right click on the HP Deskjet 3050, printing preferences, select the paper/quality tab and some Plain paper media quick project, apply, then click on the Advanced tab and under the characteristics of the printer, select printing in levels of gray and black ink only, apply, OK.

  I use Adobe Acrobat XI.  I open the Annotations Panel and I'm trying to change the color of the thumbnail of the checkbox.  If I click with the right button on a stamp of check and go to properties then I can see a place to change the color on the appearance tab.  However if I change the color then I do not see the change comes into force on the box.  If I change the opacity so I do not see the change.  I have also noticed that if I resize the check mark so I can't do the new default size even if I check the boxes ' to default properties ' or 'locked '.

  You cannot change the color of a stamp: stamps selected the colors that are used for a stamp designer. You will feel that you can change because there is a selector of color on the properties bar when you select a stamp. This color is however only for the popup note that is associated with the patch and not the stamp itself.

  Stamps come always to 100% of their size. You must create a new dynamic stamp to your desired size.
