Why is my black wmp album art? I have vista... can anyone help?

I suggest that you try to clear the cache of album art. Close Windows Media Player and Media Center and make sure that Windows Explorer is configured to display the hidden files and folders and show protected operating system files. Then, go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\Art Cache\LocalMLS and delete all the files in this folder. Who help me?

I have accumulated a number of photo albums in the sidebar and want to consolidate some and completely remove others. Simple removal or a combination of keys and delete does not remove the photo album. In the menu bar, I see I can create a new album, but there is no tab that would allow me to delete the album.

You cannot delete system or records albums - for the user created folders, click with the right button on the folder in the sidebar and delete folder - even for albums

  • Can I delete photos from my Mac WITHOUT removing them from shared albums?

I only use photo program to create shared to my AppleTV photo albums and display on my iPhone. I keep all my original photos in Lightroom database. I also add photos to my albums shared from two separate Macs connected to the same account iCloud. I'm about to re - format one of my Mac and wonder if I can simply delete all the pictures I imported into the Photos on one of my Macs locally without affecting what is stored in albums shared in the iCloud photo library?

    Thank you.

As long as you do not remove the shared Albums are under the shared section in the sidebar, that images can be removed from the library and stay in line in the shared album:

Shutterfly is a third-party application - what it does when you delete a photo belongs to programmers.  You will need to obtain the support of Shutterfly.

  • What do you do if you can't delete music off your MP3 player?

I tried to remove music on my Sansa Mp3 player and it says that the directories are corrupted and unreadable and so it will not remove them. What should I do? I tried the videos, but they don't say anything on that there are problems with corrupted files.

Run ChkDsk with the /f switch. This allows to fix the files to the point where they can be deleted. This is probably the best just format the drive. This will remove everything and gives you a clean slate to start over with.

  • Can't delete songs from the iPhone from iTunes 6

    iPhone iOS 6 9.3.2

    iTunes 12.4.1.6

    OSX 10.11.4 El Capitan

I have manually manage music on my iPhone with iTunes.  I used to be able to select an album in iTunes and then drag it to the iPhone to add it to the iPhone.  The only way I can get the albums on my iPhone is now, right-click and select Add to the device.  Also, I used to be able to DELETE the songs off iPhone from iTunes.  Now when I select and right-click on several songs of the devices > iPhone > music section of iTunes, the only option I get is to add to the Playist...  I can't delete songs from my iPhone from iTunes.  Any ideas.  There must be a better way than the manual removal of the iPhone.

When your iPhone is connected to iTunes, check the settings > music section to find something like this:

You can check "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" here instead of 'Library of music together' as I did.

On the iPhone summary page, you can also check a box that says something like "only sync checked items" - or words to that effect.

  • Two (or more) mp3 files for a song? can I delete one of them?

    Hello world

I use iTunes 12.4.3.1 on iMac with OS X El Capitan.

I recently created a "parallel" to the MP3 playlist for a playlist with about 100 titles, because I need to burn it to CD. So far so good.  No doubt, I made some kind of mistake, and now I've discovered that, for each mp3 track have have two or more files.  They do NOT appear as duplicates.  Duplicates show two versions of the song, such as AAC and the other in mp3 format.  As in the following screenshot.

But if I select the song mp3 (the one with 160 Kbps) and click on 'Show in finder' I get the following THREE files:

The "right" one is that with time later and the '1' in the name, I know using the option "information" on the song.

    so now the questions are:

    (a) how it happened?

    (b) is it possible to find ALL these duplicates and delete them?

    (c) in the case, can I delete them manually without risk to my music library?

I am relatively new to Apple, I will be grateful for all the advice

    Best regards

    Claudio

    (a) you can know with certainty, but my guess is that you have made a conversion like this before, and then deleted the new songs in the library after use, without deleting the corresponding files in the press kit at the same time. When iTunes tries to make a new copy by using the standard file naming scheme there is already a file it if it adds etc. '1' or '2' that required such file until it can make a new file name. (In some scenarios, it starts with "2" but I can't remember which).

    (b) use file > add to library, and select the iTunes Media folder. Anything not currently connected to iTunes is added to the library. Use file > library > show duplicate items > same Album to an exact replica of the list. Sort on Date added. Remove duplicates added only today. Send messages deleted to the trash.

    (c) see b). Manual removal is usually difficult and prone to error. You must be sure that the file you are deleting is not that the library is connected to. It may not always be apparent from the date or name.

There are a set of circumstances in which multiple entries of the library can be connected to a single file. If there is a risk that this then some extra to take when removing care needs, but this is not a problem in the scenario described and the given solution addresses only the physical dupes who are in the media folder and are not currently connected to iTunes.

Tried to share reminders with my husband who refused.  I can't him off sharing and everytime I turn on the phone it alerts me.  I think my iPhone is a 4S and it is running iOS 9.3.3.

  • How can I delete a partition? Standard procedures do not work

    Hello

    Context:

MacBook Air (mid 2011), version OS X El Captian 10.11.4

128 GB SSD into a 70 GB partition (OS X el capitan, the name is "Macintosh HD") and a 50GB partition (used to be bootcamp, name is now 'B'). The 50 GB partition needs to go.

I erased the 50 GB for OS X extended (journaled) partition, but when I click on the partition, I still can not remove it (the infamous "less grey", see picture).

I can resize, Macintosh HD remains to 70 GB and a third made partition which in turn can be eliminated, but the space that he released is allocated in B again, which does not solve anything.

By restarting on recovery mode and using disk utility it has not allowed for the partition to be removed either.

As you can see from the image above, I also did an eDrive, where I still can't delete the partition of 50GB.

    Note: Filevault is turned off.

I feel pretty silly since I managed to do it before on a previous version of mac OS... (at the time where I had to enlarge the bootcamp partition, but to do this I had to remove everything first, because of its format)

Help me, apple community, you're my only hope!

I believe that when you create a Boot Camp partition, it had to be removed using Boot Camp Assistant.

  • Can I delete files from my drive iCloud on my MacBook?

Can I delete files from my iCloud on my MacBook drive and make them stay on iCloud on the web? I want to clear my drive in addition to hard as much as possible.

If you disable iCloud by car, you will be told the local copies of your files will be deleted, but will remain in iCloud.

When you delete them from your iCloud drive, the files will be deleted to iCloud.

iCloud is a synchronization service, not off of storage of the unit.

  • How can I remove photos in an album that has been shared with me on my iPhone and Mac without unsubscribing to the album?

How can I delete pictures on my iPhone 6 s and Mac Pro from an album shared with me without unsubscring to the album?

Whence the Album? This would help to diagnose. Normally, on film, you select the photos you want, remove them and the album goes.

If the Album has been synchronized from your computer using iTunes, then make a new synchronization without the selected album.

  • How can I delete all THE pictures from the Iphone 6?

I am trying to remove all the photos from my Iphone 6. I have had no luck with one of the methods I've tried, including the phone for the Mac, excluding photos of synchronization.

You have iCloud library enabled? If so photos can be rear sync. If this is not the case, try first to reset the Photos App close pictures completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the photo preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Then open the pictures, select Albums, select Camera Roll, then click Select and run your finger through all the photos you want to delete.

If the above does not help, please detail what you've already tried. As you noted, photos synced from your computer only can be deleted by "unsyncing" their new.
