  It would not seem like an audio CD, as a drive in this way is a data disc when it contains mp3 files. You would need to access the file menu in iTunes, manage files here. If you manually manage music, you will need to access it as a regular folder on your computer. In iTunes, go to file > add file to library, and select individual files.

  The only way to erase the entire audio book consisting of several "tracks" or files is to connect to your computer and delete them from there. You can delete 1 file at a time on the device itself.

You can see the files on it when entering file Mode (at the bottom of the menu music). Otherwise, to see the available unused memory, go to settings > system settings > Info.
