  My suggestion is that the shourtcut can be lost by one of the processes.

• VMware still can't find my vhd file after as I navigate on him

  I created a VMware VM 9.x from a VHD file and took three snapshots.  The virtual machine has worked well in VMware.  It also worked well when I ran into VMware Player 5.0.1 for a networked computer.  I took the drive with VM and VHD files and attached the drive to another computer by USB.  When I try to run the virtual machine in the drive in the other machine, I am asked to find the VHD file.  I browse the virtual hard drive, but the drive does not start the virtual machine and renews his comment that he cannot find the virtual hard disk.   When you create an an existing .vhd virtual computer, type virtual in VMware Workstation hard drive and subsequently take snapshots of instantaneous discs while having a .vhd extension are not a virtual hard disk type .vhd and are actually VMware virtual hard drives with a .vhd instead of the default hard extension extension.

  Uninstall your adobe reader... for unstall existing software you must go to control Panel\Programs\Programs and features, select adobe reader and select uninstall.

  To find your old downloads go to compress the widows and the R key and type downloads and click ok

  This is something tricky, simply because the Starter is not available anywhere to download (it's the OPK only), and it is not available to resettle them in the HP Recovery Manager. After researching this for awhile, it seems to me that your only option to get Starter upward and the execution is to perform a recovery of the HP System. This restores all of the original software, including programs that are not available to resettle them in the Recovery Manager. He is also the 'nuclear option' and will completely erase everything on your computer. You will need to back up all personal files that you do not want to lose.

  If you're desperate for Office Starter, you can use this recovery method. But if you're open to exploring other alternatives, you might want to try a freeware productivity suite (like OpenOffice, for example).

  Here is a link to the instructions for performing a HP system recovery for Windows 7. If you have a different version of Windows, let me know and I'll post a different link.

  That said, your question about the deployment of applications is interesting and applies to others who might convert Java apps BB10. So this may be interesting information for other readers on this forum...  However it can be as bad, so read with caution.

  My understanding is that the only method of deploying software to BB10 apps to devices, apart from the side loading in the design environment, via App World, now Blackberry World.  BB extend it to support Business Applications - and company administrators can choose the world BB Enterprise applications and target these to their managed devices.

  If the concept of pushing to the server has disappeared.  As has the notion of downloading applications to a web site or side loading using the Desktop Manager.

  It's worse for Android applications.  Android applications will be refused for enterprise BlackBerry World, because the side job of the balance does NOT include the Android runtime.  It is only supported in the personal plan.

  So if you plan on writing a business application, you will have to develop into one of the other supported platforms, such as HTML5, waterfalls or WebWorks.  Not Android.

  And even if you do this, you will need to set up the app World de BlackBerry Enterprise and of course your client company must run BES 10.

  I personally have not had to fight this battle, so it's just my understanding.  But I'm developing a company BB10 application so will face this situation myself in the next few months.  Then I will know for sure!
