  I understand that you have downloaded macOS Sierra, but are not able to install it, because you are told that the download was corrupted. In a situation like this, the next step would be to remove existing installation application download and re - download.

  I have an old iMac, I'm trying to update and I can't get the upgrade of the Mavericks to run from the App Store. It's an iMac 7.1. I upgraded manually it 10.5. ? to 10.6.8. I then went to updates in the app store. Mavericks and El Capitan have been listed. I've tried both but got the same message:

  "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later (4)"

  I can't believe there is a problem with the app store, so does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

  Basically Download Manager doesn't seem to work at all in the private view. There is no way to track downloads in private view. The only thing I can do to find them is to manually go into the firefox windows ' Temp' folder and search there.

  You spend the new Panel for the old Download Manager to download? I think that might not have been updated for changes to private browsing. You may still be able to view the downloads in these two different ways. Could you check on them and report if one of them shows the downloads?

  Edit: To cut the subject: Downloads tab in a window separate, you can click on the tab and slide down about an inch and then release or right-click on the tab > move to the new window.
